Somewhat surprised to see this recent version of Ave Maria by Alanis Morissette, who was popular in the '90s. I liked some of her music then and enjoyed hearing this too.

Just saw this on YouTube. A little out of season but thought I'd post it as Irish Actress and Singer Jessie Buckley has been on cinema screens recently in the movie Hamnet.
She's singing Silent Night, beginning in Irish, then in English.
Filmed live in 2009, unfortunately the audio is not all it could be, but she has a wonderful voice.

'Encircling' by the Celtic Christian band Iona, based on St. Patrick's Breastplate.
The singer, Joanne Hogg, from Northern Ireland has wonderful voice. The others, mostly from the UK (drummer is from the Netherlands) are all very good musicians too.

I know its a secular song, but Allowed closed my eyes and imagine Jesus singing this to me. Have Hope... We are never alone. Peace

I love this singer ... sadly she passed at a very young age 30 years ago. It came on my playlist today as i was sitting wondering about this world and the challenges we face.

Its her cover of original by the Impressions written during the turbulent times of 1960s... feels like it fits today.

Eva has a wonderful voice and talent.
So sad that she died at such a young age. We also have some cds of her music.
Thanks for sharing miker, haven't listened to her in a long while.
