They most certainly haven't been objective in the past.

Propaganda is just another tool of war.

Some US politician from Texas is saying now that the attack on the Iranian island is really meant to hurt China and Russia. That was on Fox News. That should go a long way to bringing world peace.

I'm far more concerned at YouTube channels using AI to supposedly quote the Pope and Catholic Bishops.

It's intended to make it more difficult for Iran to export her oil and China is one of the few countries it is allowing pass through the Strait of Hormuz, so this politician is essentially right. However, two can play at that game. Iran can stop all oil coming from the Gulf, if she so chooses. Americans seem unable to think ahead. Their latest masterstroke is getting Zelensky to send drones to Israel, surely to the advantage of Russia, which is already winning substantially from returning to sell oil to India, now without discount. Russia can surely provide China with her needs, if they come in with a better offer-India didn't help itself by getting too friendly with Netanyahu.

The British newspaper Financial Times reported this Thursday that, in less than two weeks of war, the United States has already consumed “years” worth of stockpiles of munitions considered critical in the conflict against Iran. On the same day, news also emerged that Donald Trump is lifting part of the sanctions on Russian oil.

With some European countries reluctant to resume financing Vladimir Putin’s war machine, it would be ironically prophetic if energy, social, and economic chaos were to reach their borders at the same time that the United States declines to a critically low level of armaments.

I think Iran has increasingly become a sacrificial pawn for Russia—a piece to be given up, even if doing so morally undermines the formation of new strategic military partnerships with the country.

I don't know for sure yet if Iran is going to be a sacrificed pawn; Israel is looking in worst shape, one suspects-otherwise why the complete media and social media blackout? Regarding the US, I have heard this war being described as 'an involuntary unilateral disarmament'.

Hard to know what Russia and China will do. It suits them to have the US distracted in the Middle East but it's not in Russia's interest for Iran to become a US vassal with only the Caspian Sea separating them. I gather from Daniel Davis that Iran can transport oil overland to China and that the island isn't their only source of oil. Losing the island would be an enormous blow to Iran but Col. Davis seems to think that they would sooner see it destroyed than in US/Israeli control. The Turks are probably nervous too because there have been murmurings from Israel that Turkey is next on the list. Israelis have been buying lots of property in Southern Cyprus. A lot of Israelis sat out the 12 day war in Cyprus. I read a report somewhere that some Israelis had been suggesting that they could help the Greeks push the Turks out of Northern Cyprus. The Ukrainians sent drone operators to help the jihadis overthrow Assad in Syria. They also used jihadis to attack the concert hall in Moscow. All those Sunni jihadi groups are Iran's enemies.

There's no good side in these conflicts. Russia and China are not Catholic friendly. Russia and Israel have always had good relations. Russian is the second most spoken language in Israel. We can't know whether there are Epstein type files on influential Russians. Zionists are very anti-Catholic. The Premier of Armenia wants to choose the Orthodox Patriarch in that country and I think there are plans for the US to build a huge base in Armenia. Armenia and Iran had been on friendly terms since Iran gave refuge to Armenian Christians during the Armenian genocide but the new Armenian leader leans more to the West. Trump wants to choose the Ayatollah's Replacement in Iran.

What's to stop a US President deciding he should choose the Pope and swooping in to take control of the Vatican? Unthinkable last year, but what about next year or a few years down the road? And if the US can claim the authority to appoint an Islamic Supreme Leader (in Shia Islam's case, the Ayatollah of Iran is second only to the one in Iraq), what's to stop a future global power claiming the authority to appoint the leader of any religion?

Best for us to take a jaundiced view of all politicians and pray for the grace to keep the faith no matter what the future holds.

The Russian oil would become a counterweight to a restricted Strait of Hormuz route controlled by Iran. Part of Russia’s behavior in this decade has been to abandon its allies as if it had never needed their strategic partnership. We can see this in the case of Iran, which supplied drones that helped Putin in his war against Ukraine since 2022. Another example is Armenia, which had signed a strategic mutual defense partnership with Russia, yet Russian assistance did not come when Azerbaijan attacked Armenian territory in 2023.

If Iran manages to sustain a war of attrition in the medium term, Russian oil will become a necessary alternative for some countries. I believe the best way to start a revolution is to create the conditions that make it possible. With some European countries reluctant to buy Russian oil, we could see the fulfillment of many prophecies that speak of civil unrest in those nations.

Not sure if this is today or a few days ago.

For the first time in the history of the Israeli regime, Netanyahu is not present at the military meeting...

The Israeli government has convened an emergency meeting of senior officials.

    [IMG]Absent from the meeting are:

    [IMG]Benjamin Netanyahu.

    [IMG]Air Force Commander Tomer Bar.

    [IMG]Mossad Chief David Barnea.

[IMG]Minister of National Security Ben Gvir.

    [IMG]Iddo Netanyahu.

[IMG]Iddo Netanyahu is the brother of Prime Minister Netanyahu. Ben Gvir is the main spokesperson of Israel, effectively the voice of the government.

Note: The mentioned individuals have not appeared publicly for a long time, so there is speculation about murder... Scott Ritter claimed that Ben Gvir was seriously wounded, and Iddo killed. In recent days, speeches created with the help of artificial intelligence have been released instead of Netanyahu's.

He allegedly died together with his son when this live report was happening and gave Iranians location where he is… Not verified.

Maybe a straw in the wind, but apparently guarded versions of the truth are reported to be coming from mainstream media now, including New York Times, CNN and BBC. Trump has posted his complaints on social media that they are trying to get him to lose the war. I have also read of a threat of censorship by the US political establishment. As these outlets were initially uniformly enthusiastic for this war in favour of 'Greater Israel', and couldn't possibly have any alternative agenda, it is difficult to avoid the conclusion that events are not playing out in 'Israel's favour, at all. I would expect, unless the censorship is somehow enforced, that we are going to see increased pressure from these mainly Jew-owned media to rescue Israel from ruin. It is hard to see how this can be done, except by 'declaring victory' and withdrawing (abandoning 'Israel' to its fate) or by massive escalation. The latter offers no guarantee of success. I have read arguments that traditional military theory from Clausewitz and Sun Tzu implies that an attacking force needs at least double the numbers of the defender (Iran has an army of 600,000 + 300,000 reserves) deployed quickly in order to have a realistic chance of victory and the Iranian terrain is far from ideal. Also, for Iran to win, they only have not to lose. For the US to win, it needs to be clearcut and the US public will disapprove strongly of the necessary massive casualties involved.

There is the even more hazardous option of using nukes. I came across a report a couple of days ago that Iran had killed a dozen or more 'Israeli' nuclear scientists and had rendered the Israeli nuclear launch site unusable. There seemed to be no confirmation of this report (the US/Israelis certainly could not admit it), but this morning I have read a vaguely similar one, although not by any means confirmatory. I'm inclined to clutch at that straw, because Iran has the technical ability to achieve it. That report by Orangina of the members of the Israeli cabinet that have chosen to 'take annual leave' could be an indicator of what the Iranians are capable of. They have Russian satellite information, a Chinese missile guidance system considered by military experts to be vastly superior to the GPS they were using in the '25 attack (and which the US was able to jam) and the evidence seems to back up that military opinion. Most importantly, the Iranians have ultrasonic missiles (a technology that the mighty United States lacks), which supposedly can change direction in flight, are too fast for even the most advanced Epsteinist interceptors and strike their targets at a claimed Mach 13! Thats 13 x the speed of sound. Conceivably, their sheer kinetic energy alone could take them so deep that it would wreck the 'Israeli' nuclear launchers, which would have been installed (by the French), when such weapons were unknown. The Russians have used these missiles (their Oreshniks) at least twice against the Ukraine, both at sites deep underground, with both targets reputedly vapourised.

I think Bad Satanyahoo is up in a plane sailing about so no one can kill him. It is a bit like the same idea a US President goes up in a big plane and flies about when the Nukes start to fly.

His plane does touch down from time to time for a rest in places like Switzerland and Germany . Then back on the plane again constantly flying about. This may seem crazy but he originally hoped this might all be over in 48 hours or so. Now he is constantly way up there hovering up in the sky for safety. It reminds me of this song.

Makes sense. It would contradict their stated aim of opening the strait in order to release oil if they destroyed the principle means of loading it onto tankers.

I think his popularity has dipped a tad. If he’s flying around in a plane, someone will eventually tip someone else off and a wee SAM will get launched.
