In fact he was so strong in his language that to this day his order has refused to permit release of some of his polish language writings on the subject lest he be falsely branded an AS in our age. I know a priest, Fr. Mike Gaitley, who told us he tried for years to get the remainder of Kolbe’s polish transcripts released by his order in Poland, to know avail, and for this reason.

In 1926, in the first issue of the monthly Knight of the Immaculate, Kolbe said he considered Freemasons "as an organized clique of fanatical Jews, who want to destroy the church."

While in Rome as a student, Kolbe witnessed vehement demonstrations by Freemasons against Pope Pius X and later Pope Benedict XV who were mostly Jews. According to Kolbe:

They placed the black standard of the "Giordano Brunisti" under the windows of the Vatican. On this standard the archangel, Michael, was depicted lying under the feet of the triumphant Lucifer. At the same time, countless pamphlets were distributed to the people in which the Holy Father (i.e., the Pope) was attacked shamefully.

To counter these demonstrations, Kolbe started the Militia Immaculatae (Army of the Immaculate One) on 16 October 1917. This was a group of Catholics who prayed for the conversion of sinners and enemies of the Catholic Church, specifically the Freemasons, through the intercession of the Virgin Mary.

You may remember, but in the 80s he was declared a controversial saint and that he was anti-Semitic, the NY Times and many others attacked the Vatican's decision. But, JPII was also Polish, and Kolbe was martyred in a Nazi camp, so they couldn't go any further. But they still attack his name.

The people of Iran are celebrating. Many women are going to be free of Islamic subjugation. Christians are going to be free to practice their faith too. It's not all gloom and doom.

    Amen, brother.

I think this is HUGE! With Khamenei dead, this is the First Time in the History of any Nation anywhere that a Nation has come back out of Islam as far as I know. The People of Iran - especially if King Reza Pehlavi returns - want an Iran without Radical Islam, an Iran that is Secular and Western-Friendly, an Ally of both the US and Israel. I was one of the first to oppose the Gaza Genocide here on MoG but I don't think a War is wrong just because Israel agrees with it. This War is a Just War because Iranian People in large numbers demanded it. Polls show 80%+ of the Iranian People wanted the Ayatollah to leave, with just about 10% wanting him to stay. It is good that he is gone. Now, let us Pray that there is Peaceful Transition to His Majesty King Pahlavi.

I believe these are Fruits of the March 25, 2022 Consecration of Russia by Pope Francis. God is breaking the Two Great Evils of Communism and Islamism. These two Evils, in Non-Western Countries, are responsible for the Persecution of 90-95% of 388 MN Christians. In Western Countries, they work together from within to subvert Christendom, particularly by Leftists promoting Woke nonsense, and using Islamist immigrants against Christians.

The people of Iran yearn for change — survey says.

Polling released this week by a Netherlands-based independent research group found more than 80% of the 77,000 Iranians surveyed want the Ayatollah to go.

Respondents also overwhelming voiced a desire to see Tehran transition away from the Islamic Republic.

A lowly 11% of Iranians said they still support the Iranian Revolution of 1979, and the job Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s been doing running Tehran."

The older lady holding the picture of the Ayatollah in the picture above doesn't look very upset at him. Are you sure you're interpreting these events correctly? I'm hearing completely contradictory reports from my usual sources, which have long been very reliable.

I could be wrong (propaganda?) but all of the responses I have seen so far from people who are allegedly Iranian has been in favor of the government toppling. Even during the 12 day conflict last year I saw Iranians cheering it on.

I believe that the opposition to the ayatollahs’ regime is truly massive and larger than its supporters, as it manages to unite a diverse—though not very cohesive—group, including Christians, Jews, secular liberals, and Zoroastrians. The latter hold a nationalist and ethical ideal that is far more deeply rooted and widespread in Iranian society. The festival of Nowruz (Persian New Year) is still widely celebrated in Iran. Many of its citizens see the nation’s history as divided into two parts: before and after the revolution—the transition from a Zoroastrian identity culture, or even Western liberalism, to a fundamentalist Islamic dictatorship that is brutal toward its opponents. There is also the issue of Cyrus’s nationalist ideal, which has permeated Persian society for more than 2500 years—a symbol of the struggle for civil and religious liberties. In fact, there is even a specific day in the country dedicated to celebrating the legacy of this king.

They need more than cheers to topple the horrific regime. Trump wants the people now to topple the government. But thats not possible without troops on the ground.

I had a very vivid dream years ago of a large battle ship gently sinking in very calm waters in the Gulf.

The older I get the less I believe in wars as a solution to any kind of problem. I do not believe they make things better they only ever make things worse. The historians tell us that at the time of Christ's Birth was the only time of complete Peace in the history of the World. It is no accident that we call Jesus The Prince of Peace. It is no accident that Our Blessed Mother appears in Medugorje as Queen of Peace.

Trying to solve the World's problems by killing other people and violence is never the answer. Apart from not being an act of love it shows lack of trust and Faith in God to change things.

Prayer is more powerful than a billion Cruise Missiles. It is no accident that when Peter pulled out his sword to defend Jesus, Jesus told him to put his sword away and healed a wound.

What kind of nonsense is that statement about!!?!
    Yeah,
I'd like Micheál Martin and Simon Harris to not be the leaders of Ireland - - but I don't want the United States to come in and bomb the living daylights out of Ireland, to get that.

They might well be, but just like Iran and Syria and other countries, there won't be one building left standing, there will be no electricity, no running water, their country will have no law and order, young people will leave, they will live on scraps. And that's not to mention the death toll. With the greatest respect, I'm not sure you've thought your post through. I think they might opt for 'islamic subjugation' in the face of that ye know....

I went to bed after my last post above, feeling very uneasy. The conversion of Iran to Christianity would be one of the greatest miracles of the last two millenia. All Catholics should wish it. Is it really happening? Should Catholics exult in this attack by what is truly the Epstein Alliance of the blackmailers and the blackmailed, consisting of Christ-hating (in a way much more extreme than Shia Islam, which doesn't hate Christ, but doesn't worship Him nearly enough), genocidal, atheistic and Talmudic Jews along with their mega-heretical 'Judeo-Christian Zionist' allies and whose form of 'liberation' and regime-change will most likely involve the imposition of Western democracy and libertinism-abortion, homosexual marriage, prostitution and all the other 'freedoms'. Should we anticipate Iranians turning to Christianity under these circumstances? Will the murder of over 100 little school-girls turn them to Christ? Is the liberation and greater dignity of women the motive for attack by the Epstein Alliance-or is it more likely that they see Iranian women, young and older, as new sources of flesh to be trafficked?

Although the Crusades were necessary for different reasons, I know of few Saracen conversions to Christianity as a result. Conversion comes from persecution and martyrdom of the convertors, not from that of the intended convertees. The reality was that Christianity was slowly growing among the Iranians. I don't think the criminal actions of the Epstein Alliance is going to do anything but rally the vast majority of them behind their new Ayatollah.

Finally, consider the history of attempted revolution in times of war. It is the worst kind of treason-look up whom Dante placed in deepest level of Hell. In the last century or so, it has been almost entirely a Judeo-Bolshevik phenomenon. Examples such as Russia 1917; Germany in November 1918.

These are the thoughts I woke up with and have immediately typed out.

I continue to hope that Iran, by far the lesser of two evils, inflicts a historic defeat on the genociders of occupied Palestine (I read a credible report yesterday that the IDF and Jewish settlers were using the opportunity of the war to expel the residents of a Christian village on the West Bank).
