Hello again friends, I've been handed another great task which of course I know you will hep me with. A good friend called Glenn is struggling to embrace and truely believe that Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist, he was born a protestant and has came a long way in his Catholic faith but this is his biggest block stopping him becoming Catholic he has recently been diagnosed with cancer which is progressing..please brothers and sisters help me storm heaven that Glenn gets over this block and converts to his true faith which he belongs too....
I am asking Carlo Acutis, recently canonized, to intercede for Glenn with us. He had a huge devotion to our Eucharistic Lord!
Will keep Glen in our prayers. It sounds like he is open so perhaps if not done alteady maybe he can read John chapter 6 ... especially: “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.” Maybe share with him Scott Hahns conversion as he had similar stumbling block. Scott's book, The Lamb’s Supper, might also be helpful? But most important will be our prayers.
Thank you all @miker we are on the same script brother definitely promptings of the Holy Spirit, when my wife told me about this my first words to her were "forth cup,Scott hahns" no coincidence a Godincidence
Bothers and sisters my hands are trembling as I type this. I got the greatest shock of my life tonight which had me in floods of tears. I brought my daughter to usual mass as she sings in the choir. When the homily was over the bishop started the process off welcoming new members to the faith all 35 praise God. As they came off the altar and proceeded to their seats Glenn was one off them,he didn't know I was there nor did I know he walked towards me and we embraced as soon as he hugged me the choir started to sing our heavenly sisters song Christ has no body. I broke like a twig our wee sister was screaming John my love ive got this. Praise Jesus from the roof tops...direct speech and confirmation
Wow!!! What a faith builder for all of us. SO HAPPY and so thrilled. Im so glad you were there at the right time. St Therese has really "got your six" as they say in the Marine Corps. God bless Glenn. He has awonderful adventure ahead. Thanks to your prayers abd your "wee sister".
