I like this - she is therefore higher than all the angels, the holiest of all of God's creation.

I don't think we can ever truly fathom the holiness of our Lady. The saints are in awe in heaven.

Fernandez is out of his depth, he has neither the theological training nor academic rigour to tackle the subject of our Lady.

Can someone name me any of his published works apart from two dirty books?

Of course we are going to get the Pope Splainers backing the document & applauding it. As they did with Francis' rancid defense of Judas. I suppose the devil has a chance of rehabilitation with this lot..

To be Marian is to be Catholic and to be Catholic is to be Marian. I am proud to be a Catholic consecrated to our Lady.

If all grace can flow through our Lady, because she had no sin and held nothing back when suffering, giving and accepting everything. That would mean that Christ is operating in her to the fullest possible. I believe they call this divine union, but in her case it would be the maximum possible divine union. Another kind of fusion.

This document is intrinsically bad, as are its author(s).

Definitely heretics. Probably apostates. Maybe devil worshippers.

    Dunno.

I just ignore them now, and am in hopeful and happy anticipation of the Triumph and restoration.

Miraculous medal - grace flowing from the hands of Our Lady. upload_2025-11-4_21-37-41.jpeg

This Miraculous medal approved by the Church, depicts a full catequesis about the intertwined roles of Jesus and Mary:
The anagram holds the Cross of Jesus embraced by the bars of the M of Mary
The Hearts are side by side, both of the same size, with their unique characteristic identifications.

It is the invocation of Mary under this depiction that made this medal become known as "miraculous".
The miracles granted imply that God WANTS US TO ACKNOWLEDGE MARY AS MEDIATRIX OF ALL GRACES.
As He has done in several other apparitions : Amsterdam, Lipa, Akita, Santa Montaña and many, many others.
Several of these, were initially approved by the bishop and later on disapproved by later bishops or the Vatican ....

It seems to me that this document denying the role of Mary in Her intimate and unique association to the Plan of Redemption is a form of rejection of Her Power and intercession.
Are they exposing themselves -and those who will follow them- and calling for a form of removal of the restrainer, at least on themselves?

If I were living in Rome at this point, I would seriously consider moving out.

    St. Jacinta

A little while before going to the hospital, Jacinta said to me: ‘It will not be long now before I go to Heaven. You will remain here to make known that God wishes to establish in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. When you are to say this, [that is, when it is permitted to reveal this part of the Secret] don’t go and hide. Tell everybody that God grants us graces through the Immaculate Heart of Mary; that people are to ask Her for them; and that the Heart of Jesus wants the Immaculate Heart of Mary to be venerated at His side. Tell them also to pray to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for peace, since God has entrusted it to Her. If I could only put into the hearts of all, the fire that is burning within my own heart, and that makes me love the Hearts of Jesus and Mary so very much!’“
IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY | The Fatima Center

    Undeniable Reasons

When Lucia was a Carmelite writing CALLS, she meditated much about this and shared her extraordinary Marian insights.

“We all know that a mother’s heart represents love in the bosom of a family,” Lucia explains. “All children trust in the heart of their mother, and we all know that we have in her place a special affection. The same applies to the Virgin Mary. Thus this message says: My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God. Hence, the Heart of Mary is a refuge and the way to God for all his children.”

Why does Jesus wants his Mother’s Immaculate Heart venerated alongside his Sacred Heart?

“It was in this Heart that the Father placed His Son, as if in the first Tabernacle,” Lucia explains, and “it was the Blood of Her Immaculate Heart which communicated to the Son of God His Life and His human nature, from which we all, in turn receive ‘grace upon grace’ (John 1:16).”

So how does this work out? “I see that from the very beginning Jesus Christ united to his redemptive work the Immaculate Heart of Her whom He chose to be His Mother,” Lucia says. (St. John Paul II has written similarly.) “The work of our redemption began at the moment when the Word descended from Heaven in order to assume a human body in the womb of Mary. From that moment, and for the next nine months, the Blood of Christ was the Blood of Mary, taken from Her Immaculate Heart; the Heart of Christ was beating in unison with the Heart of Mary.”

Lucia notes a whole new generation is born from this Mother — “Christ in Himself and in His Mystical Body. And Mary is the Mother of this progeny chosen to crush the head of the infernal serpent.” Recall we’re in the Mystical Body of Christ.

The devotion to her Immaculate Heart means no less than victory over the devil and evil (Genesis 3:16). Sister Lucia puts it this way:

The new generation that God foretold would be born of this woman, will triumph in the battle against the progeny of Satan, to the point of crushing its head. Mary is the Mother of this new generation, as if she were a new tree of life, planted by God in the garden of the world so that all her children can partake of her fruit.
Recall the July 13, 1917, vision where Our Lady showed the children hell and sinners? And what she said next was another reason for this essential devotion? She said:

To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.

    Devotion and Eucharist Connect

Lucia explains the necessity of devotion to the Immaculate Heart in yet another beautifully descriptive way. From their mother’s heart children receive their natural life, their life-giving blood so “we could almost say that the heart of the mother is the heart of the child. And we can say the same of Mary when she carried the Son of the eternal Father in her womb. Hence, it follows that the Heart of Mary is, in some sense, the heart of all that other generation, the first fruit of which is Christ.” We are that other generation.

“And it is from this fruit (Christ) that other generation of this Immaculate Heart is to be fed, as Jesus said: I am the bread of life. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me and I in him. As (...) I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me. (John 6, 48; 56-57).”

Lucia illuminates the permanent connection of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Holy Eucharist:

It is the body received from Mary, that in Christ becomes a victim offered up for the salvation of mankind; it is the blood received from Mary that circulates in Christ’s veins and which pours out from His Divine Heart; it is the same body and this same blood, received from Mary, that are given to us, under the appearances of bread and wine, as our daily food, to strengthen within us the life of grace, and so continue in us, members of the Mystical Body of Christ, his redemptive work for the salvation of each and all to the extent to which each one clings to Christ and co-operates with Christ.

    More Light

    Sister Lucia spotlights these conclusions.

One: “God began the work of our redemption in the Heart of Mary, given that it was through Her ‘fiat’ that the redemption began to come about.”

Two: “Hence it is that this Immaculate Heart must be for us a refuge and the way that leads to God.”

Three: “Thus we see that devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary must be established in the world by means of a true consecration, through conversion and self-giving.”

Four: “Christ began, with Mary, the work of our salvation. The Christ Heart beats are those of the Heart of Mary…it was from Mary that Christ received the Body and Blood that are to be poured out and offered up for the salvation of the world. Hence, Mary, made one with Christ, is the co-Redemptrix of the human race.”

    In Conclusion

It all boils down to heaven’s directives and promise delivered by Mary:

    • “Jesus wants to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. I promise salvation to those who embrace it, and these souls will be loved by God, like flowers placed by me to adorn His throne.”
    • “You have seen hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.”
    • “My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God.”

This document may have a wonderful side effect: everyone will be talking about Mary for a while now. She will become better known!

In 1929, during Lucia's weekly Thursday Holy Hour between 11 P.M. and midnight, she saw a cross of light appear above the altar. On the cross was Jesus Crucified. From Our Lord's wounded side and His face drops of Blood fell onto a Host, then into a chalice below, which were suspended in the air. From the left arm of the cross large letters reading "Grace and Mercy" made of what appeared to be water ran down upon the altar. On the top of the cross was the image of the Eternal Father. Before Him was a dove of light representing the Holy Spirit. Beneath the right arm of the cross was Our Lady of Fatima with Her Immaculate Heart in Her left hand. In the midst of this vision Our Lady made a request for the Pope to consecrate the world to Her Immaculate Heart in union with all the Bishops of the world, making a special mention of Russia.

This request was brought to the attention of the Pope. Our Lord told Sr. Lucy He wanted this consecration so that, by Our Lady's triumph, devotion to the Immaculate Heart would spread throughout the whole Church placing it beside the devotion to the Sacred Heart. Our Lord said that the Holy Father would make the consecration but it would be late. He added that the Immaculate Heart would save Russia.

Our dependence on Mary is greater than we can imagine. We receive all graces, absolutely all of them, from God through the Immaculate, who is our universal mediatrix with Jesus. -St. Maximilian Kolbe

So true. I often find myself meditating on this when I pray the Sorrowful Mysteries. Her fiat at the Annunciation was only the beginning. Her ultimate fiat was to will what the Father willed as her Son went through His Passion. It is astounding. Father Ripperger quotes demons admitting during an exorcism " she never denied the Father anything"

  16. Our Lady of Lipa, the title "Our Lady Mediatrix of All Grace" is Christocentric.

The Visionary said that "All Grace" refers to our Lord Jesus Christ who is All Grace.

I want to be careful not to jump in with admonishments against Cardinal Fernandez only because of my child's heart rising in defense of our beautiful, exquisite, holy, and sinless Mother. The Cardinal makes a worthy effort of drawing forth from Scripture the singular beauty of Our Lady's unique calling, obedience, and faithfulness to God unto the Cross. But as is so typical of recent theological endeavors, he abandons more than 200 years of profound insights so as to rely almost exclusively on critiques from a post-Vatican II perspective.:whistle:

And in my humble opinion, this neglect was ignored primarily to continue to support a ecumenical platform that will eventually manifest itself as anti-Catholic Church.

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!:notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

This is exactly true. She is the conduit, but a perfect conduit. Not of the same substance of God but a perfect medium for It.

It is difficult to add much to what has been already said. Just a few things which came to mind.

Anthony Stine noted that the Co in Co-Redemptorix means Co-operator not co-equal. Garabandal made a similar point. He also said that Mediatrix was deemed ok but Mediatrix of All Graces was deemed inappropriate! So yes, where would that leave the miraculous medal?

St. Louis de Montfort said that Marian devotion is a sign of the pre-destinate, while a lack of it is a sign of the reprobate.

I had watched Protestant Pastor John MacArthur (RIP) talk previously on 'idolatry concerning Mary'. However, I think that he and other protestants are kind of like tone deaf or blind and lame when it comes to understanding Mary. They also display either a lack of scriptural knowledge or a selective reading of it.

St. Maximillian Kolbe had a special title for Our Lady but the name escapes me. Advocate is apparently not acceptable either! The Holy Spirit is the Advocate but I think St. Maximillian (correct me if I am wrong) distinguishes between the 'uncreated Advocate', i.e. The Holy Spirit and the created one, i.e. Mary. That title is because of Her perfect Union with God by being the Spouse of the Holy Spirit, The Advocate.

One of my favourite titles for Her is the Most Perfect Adorer of the Most Holy Trinity. That is because of relations already outlined by Garabandal.

It was good to see Sam Shamoun come to Our Lady's defense, pointing out how little some Protestants understand the Bible.
