Share Your Dreams and/or Visions

A few days after my conversion, I had a waking dream, and it was in black and white. It was a very simple dream in which Jesus Christ was crucified and I was standing beneath his cross, touching that rough wooden beam that exuded pain just by looking at its texture. I was alone in a rocky field, and all around there were only dark clouds. Nine angels hovered above the Crucified One, emitting a light that illuminated Him from every angle.
The dream lasted for hours, and I was there, at peace because He had given His life for me.
I could pick up my cell phone to check the time because I had to get up early that day. When I closed my eyes again, I was instantly transported to that scene that filled me with peace. I spent hours and hours in a kind of silence and peace. I woke up without any symptoms of not having slept.

So it didn’t seem that extraordinary to me. I also didn’t pay much attention to the choirs of angels that woke me up singing, because the greatest event I had experienced days earlier was feeling God’s love. Literally, a copper-colored ball of fire appeared before me. The fire burned slowly, and circular borders with floral and geometric motifs began to appear around it, spinning until they filled the entire space.
Then my life from childhood was shown to me, and I was able to relive my sins.
I fought against the air, flailing my arms and shouting "nooo, not that one!" but it was a torrent of sin.
I ended up lying on the floor, trembling as if I’d been beaten to a pulp.
Afterward, all the demons left my soul, and I felt free.

 

I have dreamed of St Theresa and of St Padre Pio, barely remember anything but their faces. But so many miracles I have received. 2 of my most favorite Saints..

 

Thank you so much for posting about your dreams/experiences. I'm taking them as a nudge from heaven for me to seek Padre Pio with greater intensity.

 

How beautiful! A dream like this is a huge, huge gift. Such a blessing . I am a little curious though ,do you have a big devotion to Padre Pio? Are you a Spiritual Child of his?

Over the years I have read lots of books on Padre Pio and have always found him the most attractive of saints so I do have great devotion to him. I also have great devotion to St Maximilian Kolbe. These are my two favourite saints and my role models. Both of them loved our Lady very much and I love that about them.

I love these two saints very much & I want to imitate them but they are both much braver than me. I think that is why I admire them so much they have qualities that I am envious of. So I have been asking them both to help me to receive the gift of fortitude, as a time is coming when I am going to be severely tested, and hope I can imitate my heros in the faith. I just know both are going to be with me when the time of testing comes.

 

September 23 is a very special date in my life, and that’s why I bring flowers to an image of Padre Pio. I repeatedly ask him for just one thing that is very important, and it’s not even for me but for someone else.

I’ve always been met with a kind of silence. Nothing changes. There’s no improvement, and sometimes I think he hears me but isn’t going to do anything. Other times I think he’s doing something, but I don’t understand it.

Lately, I’ve only been greeting him.

My favorite saint is Saint Francis of Assisi. Sometimes he grabs me by the shoulders, and deep in my soul I feel him telling me, “You have to change this aspect of your life, and I will give you the strength.” It’s then that my greatest victories against myself occur. I don’t even recognize myself in victory because it wasn’t me. It was Him.

San Francisco is my driving force. It only happens when He wants it to, and in most cases that wasn’t my preference.

 

And my guardian angel!

How much I love you, my dear Angel. If I go to heaven, I hope I can hold you in my arms for hours and cry over your immense patience with me and all the troubles you’ve had to endure. Thank you for not abandoning me.

 

The more we fear, the more merit we have in overcoming it.

I notice with the martyrs they appear to get a great zing of grace before they die and seem to kind of rush of great joy and zeal just before they die. For instance in Ancient Rome they actually died singing with joy. This witness converted many souls.

I see we have a Communist President in Ireland. Our days are numbered.

I am inclined to think the saints pick us rather than we picking the saints.

 

I had never thot about it. It must be that way.

 

I too have never thought of that but it makes so much sense!

I could have written this!! My thoughts exactly!

 

I had a vision last night before falling asleep, in which I saw, through the half-open door of my bedroom, a kind of golden sphere on the hallway wall. On it appeared some prophetic writings related to my life. I ended up forgetting almost all of them, but one detail was disturbing enough for me to remember — the word “cancer” written inside it.

During the night, I dreamed of the chapel where my relatives on my mother’s side are buried: my grandparents, great-grandparents, three uncles, a cousin, and some more distant relatives. I hope this is just my mind playing tricks on me, but I felt I should share it here, in this space so fitting for prayer and for seeking the protection of the Mother of God for my family.

I don't think something like this which appears to be frightening just for the cause of inducing fear and worry would be authentic. It may be demonic, I would just ignore it.

 

Luan be very cautious of the source of those words you saw. I would ask Jesus to cover you in His Precious Blood and in His Holy Name rebuke and resist all visions that are not from Him. If it was from Him then I believe He will show you. But I would do some prayers of spiritual protection.

 

If it's not from God, I would use the vision to turn satan on his head. I would pray for all those suffering from the condition. I would pray prayers of thanksgiving that God has spared me from it thus far, and pray to be spared forever. The last thing satan wants is us praying.
