Hello all Alex here Julia's Grandson, I know she had a lot of friends and conversations here over the years and no easy way to say it but Gran passed away a little over 2 weeks ago now, I hope that you can all find a few words and prayers to send her way , those of you who knew her i suspect would know just how much she would appreciate that. I will endeavour to get you all a update as we get funeral and other arrangements in place. She was a very private person and one of the kindest ( though practical irish through and through !) she had battles over the years with a few conditions and always beat the odd's sadly cancer won the battle eventually though she gave it a solid fight. thankyou for prayers and thoughts

Your grandmother once wrote . . . don't be afraid. When the time comes for you to face the inevitable, God has the grace stored in His pocket ready to give you. Her wisdom will be missed. Thank you for letting us know of her passing.
I know she had some struggles with illness but she would always rally and come back here again. I have recently missed her return. So sorry for your loss. I will keep up my prayers. Thank you for letting us know.
I am so sorry for your loss. The strength of Julia's character and her devout faith shone through all her posts. I will pray for the repose of her soul although I'm confident that Julia has already heard the words "well done, good and faithful servant". Thank you for letting us know.

Ahh Julia, I am so sorry to hear this. Her wonderful Spirit came across so well in all her posts. Offering up rosaries, prayers and Masses this morning.
Goodness I really am a little shocked and saddened to hear about Julia. Her spirit came across so well in her posts and I really did feel like I knew her. I know Priests warn us not to go assuming that people who die are in heaven, but I think people on the forum tend to be very good Catholics with a great Love for Our Blessed Lady. So there is every hope that when they die we gain a new friend in heaven; a lovely thought. Queen of angels, pray for her, pray for us.
