Another homosexual priest and another example of how so many of them have a preference for young boys.

No known homosexual should be let into the priesthood. They make no sacrifice in doing so, unlike a heterosexual man who is voluntarily giving up the option of a wife and family. All it does is provide opportunities or, at best, occasions of sin for them.

I find it hard to believe that his Bishops over the years were totally ignorant of his orientation (for want of a better word). They may have even known of his pederasty I find it hard to believe this was an isolated incident.

Maynooth has been a haven for homo heresy for decades they should just shut it down.

Sad to say the whole sting operation was filmed live and his arrest in the presence of his elderly mother.

How sad for his family and all the clergy in Derry diocese. God help them all.

I think the sting group should have given his details to the police and not exposed him publicly like they did with his mother present, and caused her, an elderly woman, such upset. Even if he is found innocent (unlikely) his life and her's are ruined.

This is the kind of thing that happens when Bishops don't act. He could have cleared this up discreetly now he has a mess on his hands.

It is now ten years since same sex marriage was legalized in Ireland. This was a trojan horse to begin with, designed to undermine the fundamental building blocks of our society, namely marriage being one man and one woman and to undermine the family unit and its protection in our Constitution. This is often referred to as cultural Marxism.

Our Lady told the Fatima visionaries that the final confrontation would have to do with marriage and the family but that her Immaculate heart would triumph in the end.

They're all provocative narcissists. The last thing to give these perverts is the attention they constantly crave. Offensive as it is, and that is the whole object of the depraved exercise, it is ultimately on themselves they do it.

Even in worldly terms, it is difficult to see how this can possibly bring more support to their cause. They are 'preaching to themselves', deluded by their own egotistical self-love.

Personally, i think the best response would be to line that mountain with thousands praying the rosary and singing hymns with not a hint of anger. Not easy but who knows maybe one if these folks will convert. Think of the joy that would bring Our Lady!

I am sick at heart. But God will not be mocked be sure of that. To paraphrase St Paul " those who mock a holy place and the image of Our Lord mock and ridicule to their own destruction." These poor poor souls. Think what lies ahead for them.

It's not like me to be so condemnatory but I am so angry at the nerve of these people who would desecrate a Holy place going back 1500 years. I must hate the sin not the sinner but they are making my blood boil

I just remembered something years ago that happened in the monastery. A young man had just entered the monastery for a trial period. He was very obviously a homosexual I mean very, very obviously indeed. He was a nice person , funny person but maybe very highly strung. I got talking to him and he confirmed that he was homosexual.

Later I was talking to the Abbot and asked him if it might be a good idea to admit a homosexual to the monastery as a monk. At once the Abbot became very angry and ask me who was I judge another person as being a homosexual. When I told the Abbot I knew because the guy in question had told me at once the Abbot was deflated. No more anger. When I went on to say that it was very obvious to anyone who talked to the young guy for a few seconds that he was homosexual and that I was surprised he had not seen this himself the Abbot when even quieter. When I went on to ask if he had ever asked if he was homosexual a even deeper quiet fell down.

There is often so much going on in the background of things happening in the Church, things we may not even guess or ever know...

This whole homosexual\women priest issue is a non-starter.

Christ came into the world to offer Himself in Sacrifice for mankind, so that we can be saved, if we so choose. He had to be incarnated as a man. It's men who sacrifice themselves for causes. It's the way it always has been. It still is. For all the women who scream about 'equality', and assume the roles traditionally occupied by men, to the degree that there are many nowadays in various militaries, to take one example, there are precious view who would be assigned to combat, where the real sacrifices are made. Most jobs involving physical danger are still performed by men. The primary role of women, and it's quite logical but considered an outrageous secular blasphemy nowadays, is to be the bearer of life. The primary role of men is to be the protector of the life under his care, whatever sacrifices that entails. Without these roles being taken up by at least some of the human race, the race could not survive. It's the way we were created. No wailing feminist can alter that brute fact.

A heterosexual man who enters the priesthood, represents the Christ who manfully Sacrificed Himself, and does so by first sacrificing his one and only opportunity to take a spouse and start a family. A homosexual who enters the priesthood is not really a man because he has rejected the traits that are essential to manhood and is therefore sacrificing nothing of himself. He is giving up nothing. This is what applies to chaste homosexuals. An active one multiplies the rejection by orders of magnitude more, putting the rejection of proper manhood into obscene practice.
