It’s going to be a very rough road for us Canadians. Much suffering ahead for Christians. Canada is far beyond seeking Gods help at the moment.
Quite possibly. The USA has a bit of a reprieve as enough of them developed a distaste for corruption but I'm ashamed of THIS. God have mercy on my country.
So depressing. Carney was head of the Bank of England before he went back to Canada and that didn't turn out well either. He was a fan of the EU and all that stands for. Both Canada and the UK are in the grip of secular (anti-life) forces with crypto-communist ideals. I guess we reap what we sow.
I believe his placement was all worked out in advance and for Trudeau to step down and Carney to take over. The final axe to our country. The Great Reset is suppose to be implemented by 2030. All digital currency. Mark Mallet’s post says it all. When communism comes again my Immaculate Heart will triumph. Where great suffering, there are great graces. We may not be a 51 th state of US, but we are now a province of China.
I still don't think it is over for Canada, not by a long shot. The next while might be a big rough. Trump called the election for Carney far in advance and people all over X are reporting problems with ballots. So to me the election was rigged, especially since none of Carney's rallies had any indications of even nominal support. Also, anytime I see something like 42.5% of the vote vs 40.2% of the vote I don't buy it. I think Canada is now going to be broken up.

Man Proposes and God disposes. God can change everything in an instant with a flick of His finger. Psalms 37:12-29 The wicked make evil plans against good people. They grind their teeth at them in anger. But the Lord laughs at the wicked. He sees that their day is coming. The wicked draw their swords. They bend their bows. They try to kill the poor and helpless. They want to kill those who are honest. But their swords will stab their own hearts. Their bows will break. It’s better to have little and be right than to have much and be wrong. The power of the wicked will be broken. But the Lord supports those who do right. The Lord watches over the lives of the innocent. Their reward will last forever. They will not be ashamed when trouble comes. They will be full in times of hunger. But the wicked will die. The Lord’s enemies will be like the flowers of the fields. They will disappear like smoke. The wicked people borrow but don’t pay back. But those who do right give freely to others. Those people the Lord blesses will inherit the land. But those he curses will be sent away. When a man’s steps follow the Lord, God is pleased with his ways. If he stumbles, he will not fall, because the Lord holds his hand. I was young, and now I am old. But I have never seen the Lord leave good people helpless. I have never seen their children begging for food. Good people always lend freely to others. And their children are a blessing. Stop doing evil and do good. Then you will live forever. Well said. One of the things that I think is happening with many devout Catholics is that they are being woken up at night, particularly at 3:00 am to pray. Which tells me the fight is on.
It will be interesting to see what happens to Canada. Every morning the readings talk about the Saints of the day. I am horrified at how England persecuted and tortured so many Catholics. They are a gruesome lot. I’m wondering about Justice and how all this will play out. Canada and Australia have embraced socialism and communism. They are the long arms of England. And Northern Ireland. Pres Trump is really upsetting the apple cart, will see how Canada reacts to all of it. If they do split up I can see them becoming a part of the US. Very interesting to see all this in my lifetime. Just things I ponder.

I just got done listening to a podcast. A Canadian now American making the case for Alberta to vote itself out of the Canadian confederation and join us. Saskatchewan too. A lot of Canadians joined in the conversation agreeing. Western Canada seemingly wants nothing to do with the socialism/ communism being forced down their throats. what times we are living in!
