For me charity is the first guideline. Treat others as you wish be treated. Don't take things personally. And this wonderful statement I heard once: "I would rather be in right relationship than to be right."
That's really good to remember. One I heard a few years ago is "don't be right, be true". Sometimes I think someone stops seeking Truth because they believe they've found it in entirety and cling to it with all they have. It's not possible, imho, to understand everything in this world. When someone questions that truth they hold to so tightly, fear kicks in and charity goes out the window. This forum has been a wonderful, and humbling experience for me. I would thank those who took the time to "listen to understand" rather than just quickly "reply and dismiss". It means alot ~

Diplomacy, not might makes right, is so needed these days. That is why I'm thankful for this continuing forum which reaches internationally and is founded on Christian principles, which can be trusted and respected, and makes for a most perfect platform of discussion. I don't post here much, but I value this place and appreciate the ability to check in every couple of months to see the latest buzz, and I also value my ability to say things, because our words are powerful, and we share them with our communities, and our communities are powerful.
