I know some are Sceeptical about Medjugorie but I think it’s important to bump this up again. Even if you doubt , still good to pray for peace. I personally see thus as an alarm bell going off right now. I thought this explanation was very insightful. My husband and myself have started the novena. Until the Church declares otherwise, I believe Our Lady in Medjugorje is worth listening too.
I have zero doubts that Medjugorje is authentic. Everything Our Lady says perfectly lines up with the Gospels.
She prayed in her Aramaic language. I’m sure there a significance to her using the language she and Jesus conversed in. But perhaps the reason will remain a mystery for now.
It's significant. I was reading on the significance of midnight in the bible, and it typically means to be watchful. Because this is when a watch is kept for attacks. Which to me indicates we need to be watchful for we live in perilous times. Our Lady was confirming this IMO. Mountains are also where people meet with God. Our Lord and our Lady both speak Aramic, so to me it indicates clearly she was praying for God to hear her and our prayers.
Very insightful. The 3rd watch I believe starts at midnight. So this verse from Luke is interesting given this apparition timing …. I think she is telling us very clearly be awake! 12:37 Blessed those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. In truth I tell you, he will do up his belt, sit them down at table and wait on them. 12:38 It may be in the second watch that he comes, or in the third, but blessed are those servants if he finds them ready.
Well done, I think there is a lot to this. Especially since the apparition began at 11:38. Considering the apparition was 6 minutes long perhaps it is good to look at the next 5 verses as well. The verse number is 38 and the time the apparition began was at 38 minutes. Luke 12 38 If he comes in the middle of the night, or even near dawn, and finds them alert, those slaves are blessed. 39 But know this: If the homeowner had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into. 40 You also be ready, because the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect.” Rewards and Punishment 41 “Lord,” Peter asked, “are You telling this parable to us or to everyone?” 42 The Lord said: “Who then is the faithful and sensible manager his master will put in charge of his household servants to give them their allotted food at the proper time? 43 That slave whose master finds him working when he comes will be rewarded. 44 I tell you the truth: He will put him in charge of all his possessions Another interesting thing worth pointing out IMO, is that the apparition began at 11:38 but the verse is 12:38. So it would be a difference of an hour, and verses 39-40 both mention an hour.
Very interesting looking at the verses that follow. And if you look at just verse 38 and 44 and sort of look at them together I get the idea is those servants who do stay awake and alert will be rewarded and be given everything the master owns. And what does Jesus “own” - Life eternal. I do think we are in a very big moment. But again, we don’t know nor can we predict timelines as with God a day could be a 1000 years and a 1000 years a day
You never know Miker. I don't think we are able to predict anything, but I do believe Our Lady and Our Lord can be very subtle at times in how and what they communicate, and what they want us to know. I am sure more will come over the course of the novena. I would simply take this as a warning to be ready.
Yes, I agree. Reminds me of the 10 Virgins and their lamps. Only 5 were prepared with oil. Once again, note the bridegroom returns at midnight! 25:1 'Then the kingdom of Heaven will be like this: Ten wedding attendants took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. 25:2 Five of them were foolish and five were sensible: 25:3 the foolish ones, though they took their lamps, took no oil with them, 25:4 whereas the sensible ones took flasks of oil as well as their lamps. 25:5 The bridegroom was late, and they all grew drowsy and fell asleep. 25:6 But at midnight there was a cry, "Look! Nice catch. 25:6, and the apparition lasted 6 minutes. It also happened in the month of June which is the 6th month. I know these aren't strong connections, but it is something to bounce around.

11:35 pm - 11:41 pm Tonight our Lady was more joyful. She prayed again in Aramaic. She prayed over everyone.
Tonight’s apparition was about 5 minutes and Marija said Our Lady looked more joyful! A little sign of hope! from what I could see on Marytv it seemed like more people were on mountain. Peace.
