Exactly, I remember before the pandemic, so maybe in fact the best period was even earlier than 2000-2015 (more or less).
Somehow, everything was more accessible, the internet and algorithms did not censor things, and it was easier to order/find what you needed.

Here in Croatia, you could go into a pharmacy for animals and even take antibiotics for animals, where they would write you a prescription without any confirmation. You could get ivermectin (under a different name), various vitamins, etc. Of course, these are all different names and different packages, sometimes the doses are a little higher, somewhere a little less.

Now I was a month and a half ago. I was looking for something just for the animal, so I talked to the vet there. She told me that they took everything away from them, everything. The pharmacy looks devastated, 3 years ago I asked my family for something for the goat. Vitamin ADE3...Now it's gone, they withdrew their vitamins, ivermectin, antibiotics, etc.
The only thing they have left are corticosteroid drops for animals and humans...

What I also noticed that many products are diluted, I thought only for people, but also for animals.

What used to be one dose, now you need 3 doses to achieve a similar effect. A lot of products no longer have the same effect as they used to, but just have a name... Even when you go to a review for certain products and read the history, you will see how in recent times there have been very bad comments for numerous supplements, vitamins, etc. compared to few years ago.

Have you checked to see if the English company has a branch in Ireland? For example, Holland & Barrett and Boots are British companies with stores in Ireland. I don't usually buy vitamins online but I have bought some items from Holland & Barret when their store near me didn't have what I wanted. I think that most big companies support the woke agenda. I think I got my Vitamin K2 from Holland & Barret but I don't know whether it's MK7.

Here are two Irish owned companies that sell online as well as having bricks & mortar shops:
    https://healthmatters.ie/online-store/
    https://www.nourish.ie/

According to their websites, Health Matters ships internationally charging standard post office rates, whereas it's necessary to contact Nourish in advance to find out about availability and delivery costs.

I've never made a purchase from either of the above companies so don't know how trustworthy they are. Maybe other forum members living in rural areas would have more experience buying online and can be more helpful.

Incidentally, I was advised by my pharmacist to take magnesium with vitamin D.

Thank you very much, I will definitely try. I have already messaged them to see if they have a branch. If I fail, I will be through these two companies.

You're welcome. I chose those two because they showed up when I searched for places selling Vitamin K2 in Ireland. There are lots of other places selling vitamins but not Vitamin K2. It's hard to find that particular vitamin on the shelves here, perhaps because we're more likely to get sufficient amounts of it in our diet through meat, milk and butter from grass fed cattle.

The natural way is probably best. The best information I could find shows that natto, sauerkraut and kefir are the best natural sources, none of which are readily available here. I'd be surprised if you couldn't get sauerkraut or kefir in Eastern Europe. There's no chance of me ever shredding cabbage to make sauerkraut but I did consider making my own kefir and found a place in Ireland where I could buy the starting grains. Then I got distracted and forgot about it.

If you can't get a pharmacy to send you the vitamins, I could probably post them to you but I think our postal regulations are quite strict. For example, we can't send liquids through the post and no doubt there are lots of other regulations.

Julia Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

Tesco's sell Sauerkraut (K2) here in the UK. It is more than likely Tesco in Ireland would also have Sauerkraut available. There are also numerous Polish grocery shops opened here in the UK now and they sell Sauerkraut. More than likely there are Polish grocery shops in Ireland. They will have Sauerkraut available. IMHO

Thanks Julia. I looked in a few Tescos here and couldn't find any sauerkraut. I never thought of trying the Polish shops. There are Asian shops too where they might sell natto.

Kim chi is probiotic too just like saurkraut and Asian shops would definitely have it. It is equivalent to saurkraut.

Making sauerkraut is the easiest thing in the world. Get a 1L jar , fill it with cabbage, add water to the shoulder of the jar, then and add two teaspoons of non-iodized salt. This works for all vegetables.[IMG]
There are studies which suggest that lacto fermentation is a huge part of the reason why Europe was so successful in colonizing the world. Many have repaired their health entirely by consuming copious amounts of fermented foods. Fermented foods contain large amounts of the vitamins which soil based organisms produce. However modern farming has killed much of the food soil web.

In America, they used to consume large volumes of apple cider. Because it was a clean source to hydrate the body and full of nutrition. Every farm was supposed to have an orchard, and those orchards consisted primarily of apple trees. The famous Johnny apple seed did more for america than most know. He was also something of a St. John the Baptist type.

from Barnhardt.biz. This is where we are:

You-Gotta-Be Kidding-Me Mailbag: Revelation 18:23. “for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy pharmaceuticals were all nations deceived…”

Wow. I MEAN. It’s almost like the Holy Bible in modern English is inadequate or something….

The “thy” is “the world’s”, not God’s. Hence the lower-case.

    Ann,

Something I’ve known for awhile but never understood how that it would happen: Enter the rona scam and death jab. Sorcery. Look it up in Rev: chapter 18 v 23. Sorcery from the Greek is literally where we get the word for pharmacy. Medicine. Also used as magic.

That verse also speaks of the “great men of the earth” being “merchants”. The super rich elites. Gates, Soros, Fraudci, etc.

Revelation 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

    Greek: φαρμακεία

    Transliteration: pharmakeia

    Pronunciation: far-mak-i’-ah

Definition: From G5332; medication (pharmacy) that is (by extension) magic (literal or figurative): – sorcery witchcraft.

KJV Usage: sorcery (2x), witchcraft (1x).

    Occurrences in Bible: 3

    Occurrences in verses: 3

Yes I know it’s a King James Version I’m using but it’s all I know at the moment. God keep you around with us for LONG time please.

Thank you. Kim chi is another food I had never heard of prior to covid. I'll see if they have it in one of the Asian shops in the city. I had heard of sauerkraut but never tasted it. My plan now is to buy a small amount of each and go with the one with the best taste.

In all the recipes I looked at, the cabbage had to be shredded. That's a no-no for me because I wouldn't have the patience. Kefir seems to be the easiest home made source of the vitamin. It's just a matter of getting the starting grains, filling the jar and letting it ferment. Even I can manage that. I suspect that it tastes yucky but maybe I could sweeten it with sugar or honey.

You can shred on a cutting board with a sharp knife. That's what I do. If I had to grate it I would go crazy. But shredding with a good knife is pretty easy.

I think I may have found a solution for Orangina. This brand, Terranova, has a national distributor for Croatia on their "Where to buy" list: https://www.terranovahealth.com/product/terranova-vitamin-k2-as-menaq7-100µg-complex/

Here's the page where they list the distributors in various countries: https://www.terranovahealth.com/where-to-buy/

Thanks for all the advice. I've found a shop in Dublin that sells sauerkraut, natto, kimchi, kefir and kombucha. I'll pay them a visit some day in the next week or two and buy a small amount of each. The taste test will be the decider for me.

Food is definitely the best source of vitamins and minerals. We are southern/central Europe and the climate is great for growing vegetables and food. I personally have close to 200 trees in three different locations in my orchard. A good part is also a consequence of communism, i.e. socialism, where you could only invest your wealth in something like orchards, vineyards or cattle breeding in limited quantities. The worst thing is when a person has something and then doesn't know how to appreciate it. I think it has happened to me that I haven't eaten an apple in years, as well as cherries, cherries, strawberries, pears, even though they are all natural without spraying pesticides. Now in recent years I appreciate it more. By the way, we are quite a rural area, and the city is a few minutes away, so we have homemade eggs, meat and the like. Vitamin K2 is not for me, but for a family member who is stubborn and won't really eat foods that are rich in the same, and he gets 5000 units a day of vitamin D. These are larger amounts and sometimes it's harder to get so much from food... Sauerkraut is really often used here, for example in the canteens in Studebsk, I think I ate a full plate of it every day for lunch and dinner. If you ever fall and get swollen, take a sauerkraut leaf and put it on the edema. It will calm you down better than any preparation you can find in the pharmacy... I recommend this to you as a "health expert in the field" :D For erythrocytes and raising hemoglobin in the blood, the best homemade blackberry wine is for me. Blackberry juice can also be used. While for iron, pork liver is the best, I think it has about 30mg per 100g. Here it is a specialty, literally a "bomb" for Vitamin A and iron.

Thank you once again for this one as well. This is the UK site I was talking about https://www.powerbody.co.uk/ I sent an inquiry and received an answer that their branch is in Poland www.goherbs.com,
and they ship throughout the EU. I will certainly take this site of yours, and see where the prices are lower.

I'm delighted that you can get it from Poland. It shouldn't cost as much to have it posted from there rather than from the UK. The company I linked to gave the name of a distributor in Croatia. I think that a distributor could be similar to a wholesaler. I would definitely contact them to see if they distribute to a retailer near you. A few medics on youtube recommended taking zinc with Vitamin D. It had something to do with getting the Vitamin D into the bones but I'm not certain so best to do your own due diligence. You probably know a lot more than I about it.

I'm looking forward to tasting sauerkraut because I've heard so much about how beneficial it is. If it turns out to be the most palatable source of vitamin K2, I might even try making it myself, shredded cabbage and all. I read that egg yolk and chicken breast is also a good source of vitamin K2 but it depends on what chicken feed is used.

I love cherries. They're expensive here. You're blessed to have your very own cherry tree. We had plum, apple and pear trees but didn't take care of them so I had them cut down to make mowing the grass easier. The plums were ok but the pears and apples weren't sweet enough. I've never tasted pork pate. I'll see if they have it in the supermarket here.

I'm learning lots about nutrition since the pandemic made me boost my immune system.
