This is true, I’ve noticed an increase in these videos. They have recent posting dates to make you believe they are legitimate. If a YouTube video comes from a source other than the priest himself it’s a good idea not waste your time on them.
Not sure, but I believe they would know how many are actually watching the videos. I don’t think they would be able to gather info unless you were logged into your YouTube account and then subscribe to their channel. The more subscribers, the more $$ they make.
I would think they can collect info when you visit a site as I know that my options on YouTube and google seems to be more of what I would watch than just random. But I’m no computer expert.
I feel the same. I watch a lot of cat rescue videos and I receive prompts to view more, as well as other videos which reflect my viewing.
I am not that concerned. I think it was amazing of Fr Alar to speak about Our Lady of Good Success. Many have no clue about this apparition that happened 4 centuries ago. It really puts a damper on the Protestant view of Revelation.

I love following American politics at the moment, it is such a roller coaster. Especially the fortunes of President Trump which is a real rollercoaster. I read about politics during the time of Abraham Lincoln and there was some real dirty pool but what is going on at the moment seems like undeclared war. Regarding Michelle Obama, I wonder. Would August not be very late to slate her in? She has never shown the least interest in politics. She has had never had any office even a small one. She has zero experience. She has zero charisma. She would be trying to raise a ship that is already half sunk. She seems to have only three things going for her. She is black. She is a woman. She is Barracks wife.

Ah, but Padraig, that is the perfect formula to invigorate the Democratic Party's base. I remember that in the 2016 election, when Trump was acknowledged as winner, the world had to wait several hours while Hillary Clinton worked through her temper tantrums. Then she came out and conceded. Trump handled himself well that night, appearing to be a little surprised that he pulled it off. It was part and parcel of American politics. The 2020 election was nothing like that. The history books will claim Biden as the definitive winner, but for many, many voters there remains shock and disbelief. How could a candidate that never really hit the campaign trail actually win? Even Democrats don't want to face such an ordeal again. I could very well be wrong, but the Obamas remain an icon of stability. The temptation will be for the Democrats to resurrect them to hearken back to normalcy. Lord have Mercy!
I don't think it will be Mrs. Obama, I think it will be Hillary Clinton, she has been suddenly appearing in several MSM programs.
