We have quite a few Nigerian priests in our diocese. Given who the US cardinals with the most power are, if I were a bishop I'd probably let those priests know they'll be better off in Nigeria. My son entered the seminary 2 years ago. After a long talk with the priest who is the vocations director and of whom we think very highly, he asked if we had questions. My only question was "What will you do when the push is on for same sex blessings?". He said he wouldn't comply and was prepared to lay down his life like Christ.
https://www.countdowntothekingdom.com/pedro-contempt-for-the-truth/ Our Lady Queen of Peace to Pedro Regis on February 3rd, 2022: Dear children, accept the truth of my Jesus and always choose the narrow door. The door to eternity will only be opened with the key of truth. Reject what is false, for only then can you find salvation. Whatever happens, do not depart from the teachings of the true Magisterium of the Church of My Jesus. Seek the treasures of Heaven. Everything in this life will pass away, but the grace of God within you will be eternal. Take care of your spiritual life. The things of the world are not for you. Give me your hands and I will lead you to my Son Jesus. I am your Sorrowful Mother, and I suffer because of what happens to you. Pray. Only through the power of prayer can you attain victory. This is the message that I give you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed Me to gather you here once more. I bless you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Be at peace.
Gisella – The Time is Over for the Wicked Our Lady to Gisella Cardia on February 3rd, 2022; My beloved children, thank you for being here and for responding to my call in your hearts. My children, you are living in times worse than those of the Flood; you have had so much time for your conversion, yet you prefer the world, you prefer to sin, often not having understood that one day you will be face to face with my Jesus. Pray, children, so that your prayers might divert what is most wicked in the minds of your politicians. Help my Son Jesus by praying. The earth will shake. My children, place everything in the wounds of Jesus, take my hands and I will protect you and bring you to Him. My children, pray for the Church and for holy priests that they would always remain faithful to the true Magisterium of the faith. My children, the time is over for the wicked and mercy will be infinite for the righteous. Now I leave you with my maternal blessing, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Today, many will be the graces that will descend upon you.
Dear children, thank you for being here in my blessed forest. Dearly beloved children, tonight I am again here to ask you for prayer — prayer for my beloved Church, prayer for this world, increasingly gripped and enveloped by the forces of evil. Children, entrust yourselves to me, let yourselves be carried in my arms, let yourselves be wrapped in my love. Children, pray and do not fall into the subtle temptations of judgment and condemnation. Judgment is not up to you but to God. Children, pray that the true Magisterium of the Church would not be lost. Be faithful to Jesus, be faithful to the Church and pray for Her. Live in prayer; may your life be prayer.
I wonder what Papa Doc Frankie will get up to now on this ongoing Chess game not that he and his co conspirator Filthy Fernandez have been called out openly as Heretics by Cardinal Sarah? Frankie clearly knows as he approaches death that he only has a very limited time to push his homosexualist agenda and destroy the Church he clearly hates so much. So what now? Either he comes out fighting and excommunicating and wildly insulting and cancelling all the good clergy who stood against him or, with more common sense shrug his shoulders and walk away. But he knows that his end is coming soon so he has to defend his dastardly legacy so my best guess is he will come out of the corner slugging. So interesting times ahead. Catholic Exorcists report that the demons are terrified because they know their power is about to be broken. I wonder if the mountain of filth and heresy being exposed in the Vatican has something to do with all this?
Touchy's vile pornography is heretical, blasphemous and sacriligious. Still, it isn't as bad as the sodomy-blessing document, because the latter is an official component of this papacy's magisterium. That the latter is worse demonstrates the extreme seriousness of the issue. If anyone's expecting any action being taken against this scandalous individual, so contaminative as he is of his Holy Orders and high Church position, I would advise you not to hold your breath. That new Bergoglian secretary tells us all we need to know. Nevertheless, Action will be Taken...in this world or the Other, unless he repents and renounces all of this. The same applies to our pope. God is being mocked.
Can someone be considered a Pope who releases a Heretical document and is therefore to be considered himself a Heretic and therefore according to Canon Law Excommunicated? Can a Excommunicated, Apostate, Heretic be a Pope or Cardinal? https://www.ewtn.com/catholicism/answers/heresy-shism-and-apostasy-24761 Heresy, Shism & Apostasy Author: Colin B. Donovan, STL Definitions The Catechism of the Catholic Church defines these three sins against the faith in this way: 2089 Incredulity is the neglect of revealed truth or the willful refusal to assent to it. "Heresy is the obstinate post-baptismal denial of some truth which must be believed with divine and catholic faith, or it is likewise an obstinate doubt concerning the same; apostasy is the total repudiation of the Christian faith; schism is the refusal of submission to the Roman Pontiff or of communion with the members of the Church subject to him." [Code of Canon Law c.751] The Church's moral theology has always distinguished between objective or material sin and formal sin. The person who holds something contrary to the Catholic faith is materially a heretic. They possess the matter of heresy, theological error. Thus, prior to the Second Vatican Council it was quite common to speak of non-Catholic Christians as heretics, since many of their doctrines are objectively contrary to Catholic teaching. This theological distinction remains true, though in keeping with the pastoral charity of the Council today we use the term heretic only to describe those who willingly embrace what they know to be contrary to revealed truth. Such persons are formally (in their conscience before God) guilty of heresy. Thus, the person who is objectively in heresy is not formally guilty of heresy if 1) their ignorance of the truth is due to their upbringing in a particular religious tradition (to which they may even be scrupulously faithful), and 2) they are not morally responsible for their ignorance of the truth. This is the principle of invincible ignorance, which Catholic theology has always recognized as excusing before God. The same is true of apostasy. The person who leaves not just the Catholic Church but who abandons Christ Himself is materially an apostate. He is formally an apostate through willful, and therefore culpable, repudiation of the Christian faith. Finally, the person who refuses submission to the Roman Pontiff, whom Vatican I defined as having a universal primacy of authority over the whole Church, is at least a material schismatic. It was thus common in the past to speak of the schismatic Orthodox Churches who broke with Rome in 1054. As with heresy, we no longer assume the moral culpability of those who belong to Churches in schism from Rome, and thus no long refer to them as schismatics. Excommunication When it comes to Catholics who are formally guilty of heresy, apostasy or schism, the Church applies the penalty of excommunication. The 1983 Code of Canon Law, repeating the sanctions of the earlier 1917 Code, states,
Let us beg Almighty God to sort out the mess in the Vatican. And save us all lest we perish. A Chaplet of reparation begging God to confound and destroy communism/marxism/extremism/masonary. Remember hate the sin, not the sinner. Eternal Father, I offer You the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, and all the other instruments of His Holy Passion. That You may put division in the camp of Your enemies. For as Your beloved Son has said; "A kingdom divided against itself shall fall." May God arise and let His enemies be scattered, and let those who hate Him flee before His face. May the thrice Holy Name of God overthrow all their plans. May the Holy name of the Living God split them up by disagreement. May the terrible Name of the God of eternity stamp out all their Godlessness. Lord, I do not desire the death of the sinner, but that he be converted and live. Father forgive them, they know not what they do.
The question of a heretical pope was considered by Doctor of the Church St. Robert Bellarmine. He came up with different approaches in that regard. God bless!
https://sspx.org/en/news-events/news/question-papal-heresy-part-6a The Question of Papal Heresy - Part 6a Throughout history, theologians have differed in their theses regarding the ability for a heretical pope to remain the Vicar of Christ. St. Robert Bellarmine’s Opinion The opinion of St. Robert Bellarmine (1542-1621), which is found in De romano pontifice, Book 2, chapter 30, and which is followed by Cardinal Billot (1846-1931) (Traité de l’Église du Christ, question 14, thesis 29, Part 2, nos. 942-946), is purely theoretical, because his real thesis is that the pope will never fall into heresy. Assuming nevertheless that, per impossibile, the pope happened to fall into public heresy, he would ipso facto lose the pontificate. As Bellarmine explains clearly, the basis for this thesis is that a notorious heretic as such is no longer a member of the Church. Now, the pope necessarily must be part of the society of which he is the head. This is why the heretical pope, no longer being a member of the Church, ceases to be her visible head. If we adopt this explanation of Saint Robert Bellarmine and of Cardinal Billot, the disputed question then is: As of what moment can one say that the heresy is notorious, in the case of the pope? The Church’s historic Canon Law (CIC 1917, canons 2264 & 2314) allows, for persons other than the pope, an intermediary situation in which, if the heresy has not been manifested sufficiently, all acts of jurisdiction in the external forum would remain valid albeit illicit. By analogy, a pope who is formally but not yet notoriously heretical could for some time remain at the head of the Church. But Billot adds that Providence could not permit the whole Church to acknowledge as her head a formal heretic. If the elected man is or becomes formally heretical, this acknowledgment could not persist, and this is why the notoriety would have to appear rather quickly, in one way or another. At the very most, it could happen that only a few periti [experts] in the Church were endowed with the necessary theological intelligence to assess the whole situation; the others (in other words almost the totality of the Church) would not be capable of understanding the whole import of the crisis, even though their virtue of faith sufficed for their personal conduct. St. Thomas Aquinas makes a similar distinction when he speaks about “majores” and “minores” [the greater and the lesser] with regard to the notoriety of the Messiah among the Jews (STh III, q. 47, art. 5).
Right off the bat, I'm sorry that my response's are so late. (Belonging to another time zone in the southern hemisphere has its drawbacks) The sermon regarding the 33000 people who died on a particular day, with only 5 people being saved, 3 of that 5 going to purgatory, has always felt like an exaggeration to me. Namely because we know that many children die each day. This is a statistical fact!; and many of these babies and children are baptised. To imagine that these innocents souls are going to hell, portrays a picture of a rather merciless God. A God who smites even the innocent. This is not the God, Our Lord Jesus gave witness to. I acknowledge the way is narrow and the path thorny, yet Jesus Himself gives us the strength to follow Him and stand firm in Him who is truth.
Agree 100%. Or as Mario suggested 99.99% You came up with a better, more thorough, wiser response to this sermon than mine - thanks! Wish I had thought of all these points but this is what is great about this forum. You’re always learning!
" subtle temptations of judgement and condemnation. Judgement is not up to you but to God."---that is a haunting statement.
Yep, Zaro I guess. This also from Zaro, which I find credible: My children, these are the times that I had foretold to you long ago — times of trial and pain. My children, please intensify your prayers and pray for my beloved Church. Pray for priests who are increasingly being seduced by error leading to sin. Pray much for the Vicar of Christ. At this point, the Virgin Mary bowed her head and asked me to pray with her; we prayed together, then she resumed speaking. Children, I weep for my beloved Church that continues on the path of division; I weep over all that is happening in the world; I weep because more and more children [people] are turning away from the good. Children, pray that the authentic Magisterium of the Church would not be lost.
Matthew 7:15-20 You Will Know Them by Their Fruits 15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them. "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" (Isa. 5:20.) As Jesus said we know people are bad because they do bad things. We know that evil people are evil because they do evil things. We judge them by their fruits. Abortionists are evil people and do evil things. Hitler was an evil man and did evil things. Mao Tse Tung was an evil man and did evil things. Joe Biden is an evil man and does evil things. False Judgement and the Wrongful Condemnation associated with it when is wrong is what Our Lady is talking about. Calling our Great Evil and evil people for what they are is never wrong. If this were not the case Saint John the Baptist would have been wrong to condemn Herod Antipas and his wife. The Gospels of Matthew (Matthew 14:1–12) and Mark (Mark 6:14–29) recorded that Herod Antipas had John the Baptist arrested and imprisoned after the preacher condemned the king's marriage to his wife, Herodias, as illegal, because she had previously been married to his own brother, Philip. Matthew 14:1-12 John the Baptist Beheaded 14 At that time Herod the tetrarch heard the reports about Jesus, 2 and he said to his attendants, “This is John the Baptist; he has risen from the dead! That is why miraculous powers are at work in him.” 3 Now Herod had arrested John and bound him and put him in prison because of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife, 4 for John had been saying to him: “It is not lawful for you to have her.” 5 Herod wanted to kill John, but he was afraid of the people, because they considered John a prophet. 6 On Herod’s birthday the daughter of Herodias danced for the guests and pleased Herod so much 7 that he promised with an oath to give her whatever she asked. 8 Prompted by her mother, she said, “Give me here on a platter the head of John the Baptist.” 9 The king was distressed, but because of his oaths and his dinner guests, he ordered that her request be granted 10 and had John beheaded in the prison. 11 His head was brought in on a platter and given to the girl, who carried it to her mother. 12 John’s disciples came and took his body and buried it. Then they went and told Jesus.
