Disgusting manipulation. The first casualty of any war is the truth. Unfortunately Islamic terrorists--like Isis-- have shown in the past that they do horrible things to their victims.

 

Here is the Reuters fact checker, it is amazing the amount of false stories going the rounds at the moment. Including for instance one spread by Joe Biden himslef, in public, that 40 babies had had their heads cut of by Hamas and he himself had seen the photos. This simply never happened.

I’m not saying the video is true or not. It may be false. But even if it is false, What I am saying is covid taught me not to trust the “fact checkers”

IMHO, perhaps part of this conflict is age-old. The Jewish people want to rebuild the Temple on its original spot. The Muslims also claim that spot and in fact have built the Dome of the Rock on it. We Christians venerate the Sacred Places where Our Lord lived His life on earth. We want to protect them.
And I don’t put my trust in fact checkers.

It would appear from the above reply that you Xavier believe that because I advocate for people not to take sides, I support the oppressor. I would just like to say that I am aware of the great injustices inflicted on the Palestinians and I certainly do not support them. Presently the Holyland finds itself so divided that the extremes on both sides are calling for the genocide of the other and there is a grave danger that more people will be pulled into a Rwanda style slaughter. The truth is, I support both sides in their humanity, the killing of innocent civilians can never be justified from whatever side it comes. I will be joining the Patriarch of Jerusalem and other christian leaders in their call for a day of fasting and prayer to implore the good Lord to save us from falling into the unthinkable.

Begs the question who fact checks the fact checkers?

 

It is all well and good to put a case for why Israel should be viewed with distain. Having an Irish background with all the history and fireside tales about the measures people take to defend their territory. I remain cynical about most of what we hear.

People wounded by their fellow man lose an objective view point, and can and do lash out in the heat of the moment.

We are all learning more about the Israel situation just now. But we do know Hamas terrorists provoked Israel into taking action. I believe Israel has no other choice but to retaliate, otherwise the citizens of Israel will feel they have no one to protect them. None of us want to hear citizens in Palestine are being hurt or killed. We hear Hamas are desperately trying to force citizens to stay so it gives the impression innocent civilians are being attacked. These are war games, and people are the collateral damage in the eyes of those who govern, make no mistake about that.

I need to see Israel keeping their word and for the sake of Israel wiping out the very terrorist organisation Hamas, which we know was formed and financed by Israel in the first place to get rid of the PLO. Israel created a monster, reminds me of the monster ISIS created by America for their own ends in the middle east.

This can go on and on, straight down a rabbit hole. Our own governments are exposing us to this monster, and how we would love to see our governments take action to protect us. We in the West are all sitting ducks waiting to be targeted, with no sign of any government interested in restoring law and order as it was in the days before we became drowned with aliens who despise our culture, once Christian.

We can Pray, Hope and leave the Worry to the Man who can do something about it. We do know Truth is the First casualty in war. In God we trust.
