Your mixing up apostasy with schism. Apostasy is to not hold up the teachings of the faith. This is what the Germans are doing. Schism is deny or separate from the authority of the holy Pontiff. We have both situations occurring today and both are equally dangerous. We must both remain faithful, but also stay under the authority of the holy father, even if he is doing some bad stuff and teaching some bad things.....nothing this holy father says or does has or will change the dogma of the faith....but he is spreading confusion. Confusion though is not a reason to go into schism which is just as dangerous as apostasy
