In my view, if the warning shows the good we did, it will be so that we don't die of fear with the event; something analogous to what happens when someone is dying and fears his perpetual condemnation by remembering his sins, while a righteous person is serene by remembering the good works that testify to his faith.

My final comment on the Pope's trip to Mongolia. As you can imagine my mailbox is overflowing this morning with questions and "theories " about the Moscow prophecy. So its pretty simple. 1.He never set foot (or plane ) in Moscow. 2. Flying over Moscow does not count either. 3.There was no Vatican confirmation ever that he would land in Moscow. 4. The prophecy has not yet been fulfilled.
TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY, SEPTEMBER 4, 1962: “A Miracle on the Horizon” From a tape recording on September 4, 1962, the Blessed Mother tells Conchita , there will be a Miracle in Garabandal, Mary will be there, and it will be a long time from then ! TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY, SEPTEMBER 5, 1962: ABOUT THE FUTURE MIRACLE Conchita insistently questioned her Vision about the future great Miracle to come, of which she knew since October 18, 1961: " Yes, you had said that you would perform a Miracle . . . and that it would consist in what? . . . Will the Blessed Virgin be seen? And when? . . . So soon? With me alone, no! I don't want it so . . . Do not do that! Do it with the four of us! . . ." The great Miracle will come about through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin of Mount Carmel, but, on a certain level, Conchita, so she was also told, would be personally involved in obtaining it from God. September 5 1961 Fr. Ramon M. Andreu's Cross - Found ! Fr. Ramon M. Andreu noted this extraordinary event of which he himself was a witness.� "On August 15 ,1961 one of the girls prayed the Rosary with a rosary I had given her. Later, when she returned it to me, we observed that the cross was missing. It had fallen off and was lost. It was useless to search for it in those streets, paths and lanes... Twenty days later, on September 5, it occurred to me to tell the girls to ask the Virgin Mary for my Rosary's cross... I myself heard the dialogue in which they asked Her and how the exact spot was specified. Once the trance concluded, we went without any hesitation to the indicated spot, and there was the little cross beneath a stone in the mud."
I wondered if Holy Father did or did not go to Moscow. Thank you Glenn for a clear answer. We still await the fulfilment of the prophesy. We have been asked to say a novena to Saint Joseph for Holy Fathers intentions, especially with the dreaded Synod coming up. May God direct and inspire Holy Father at this time. No one only God knows what is really going on in the Vatican. We can beg for God's help to protect the Church of Jesus Christ, and the Faith of our fathers.
September 16, 1962 :EXPRESSIONS OF CHARITY Of the many teachings Our Lady gave at Garabandal to the visionaries and all of us, were lessons in charity. On one occasion, the Blessed Virgin gave a very pointed lesson on charity that would not be easily forgotten by those in the village. Father Valentin Marichalar, the pastor, made the following entry in his journal for September 16, 1962, a Sunday: There is a man in the village who is half crazy and does stupid things that could be very wrongly interpreted by the visitors who don't know his mental condition. He had been in an insane asylum for a year and now has decided to stay here. This is causing trouble and annoyance, and he will have to be sent away. During the ecstasy on this day, Loli and Conchita went to the house where this disturbed man, Alfonso, was staying and, with a crucifix, they made the sign of the cross there on the pillow of his bed. And while passing by him, they gave him the crucifix to kiss several times. The disturbed man froze on his knees. That night Father Anzizu commented: "What a lesson in charity the girls have given us." Conchita was asked why she had gone to the place where the deranged man was and had repeatedly given him the crucifix to kiss. She answered, "The Virgin told us: 'You despise him, but I love him.' TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY September 17, 1962 Conchita and (Mari) Loli received Communion from the Angel in the morning at the door of the Church. Loli had an apparition alone at 1. It lasted 15 minutes. She gave medals, rings, and rosaries to the Virgin to kiss. She didn’t leave the house. A widow gave me her wedding rings that day; since she was a widow she had her husband’s ring as well. I put the 6 rings that were given to me on my finger, and without explanation I asked for Loli’s finger and put them on hers. She had 10 wedding rings on her fingers. TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY SEPTEMBER 18, 1962: September 18, 1962, Tuesday. In the morning Loli and Conchita received Communion from the Angel at the door of the Church. In the afternoon the other two girls had an apparition at 5:30. It lasted an hour and a half. They met in the street and ran throughout the village, praying the rosary. They went up to the Pines and descended backwards. It ended at the door of the Church, and they lifted each other to kiss and be kissed by the Virgin. Fr. TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY SEPTEMBER 19, 1962: "COMMUNISM" IS MENTIONED AGAIN . . . ON THIS ANNIVERSARY DAY OF THE "APPARITIONS OF LA SALETTE" Mari-Loli and Jacinta again mentioned the theme of communism. A theme suited to the occasion on this anniversary of the apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary at La Salette, on September 19, 1846. We know that certain elements of Melanie's famous secret indeed concerned the great evil of communism that was then soon to begin to spread more and more throughout the world . . . As they came out of their ecstasy, the two visionaries did not want to disclose Our Lady's words: these were certainly related to the very difficult period of time of the Pre-Aviso ( pre-warning) . It was only in 1978 that Mari-Loli and Jacinta confirmed the fact that Mary had really spoken to them of communism and had done so on more than one occasion. From 'Garabandal' Book, J. MIRACLE DAY DETAILS 1.Conchita is the only Visionary who knows the date. 2.Conchita will reveal it 8 days in advance. (I will announce on all my language pages, and here ofcourse.). 3. The girls said it will happen between the Months of March, April and May, BUT My research says it will be in April. (see “Miracle in April in “Files”) 4. It will be on a Thursday evening, In April between the 8th -16th, at 8:30pm ( Spanish time ). 5. It will be on the Feast Day of a young male Martyr of the Eucharist. (already a Martyr in 1963). 6. The Martyr will not be Spanish. 7. It will coincide with a great event in the Church, but will not be a feast day of our Lord or a Marian feast day. It will NOT be on Holy Thursday, Corpus Chisti or the Ascension. 8. It will be visible to all in the Village of Garabandal, and the surrounding mountains. The sick who are present will be cured and the incredulous will believe. It will be the greatest miracle that Jesus will have performed for the world. There won't be the slightest doubt that it comes from God . 9. It will be able to be filmed and televised. 10. It will last for about 15 minutes, and after that a permanent sign will remain at the Pines forever !
SUN IN THE SHAPE OF A CROSS SEEN AT GARABANDAL On June 13,1978 at approximately 5 :30pm, A group of pilgrims from Great Britain were praying at the grove of Pine trees, and all of a sudden one of them said “ Look at the Sun ! “ 32 of the pilgrims observed the Sun in the shape of a cross while others saw it turn into a silver disk which spun rapidly, others saw it change into different colors such as blue and green, sometimes within another circle. Fr. Today in Garabandal History: September 22, 1961. Conchita had an ecstasy in her house at 10 o’clock at night. It lasted 110 minutes, she gave the crucifix to be kissed to those in the house and those outside through the window. The people tolerated the rain during this whole time and cried. The other 3 girls didn’t have ecstasies. Mari Cruz says that she had two calls but since it was late, she went to bed. Fr. Who in their right mind would refuse not one, but TWO callings from our Blessed Mother, to see her, but rather go to bed ?
TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY SEPTEMBER 23 : FEAST DAY OF SAINT PADRE PIO (The day he died) One of saddest days for Garabandal supporters as it’s greatest supporter and advocate passes away on this day. “While he was living, the same Padre Pio guaranteed the authenticity of the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin. He met Conchita at San Giovanni Rotondo. Even during the last days of his life he talked about this to his brothers in religious life and left a personal message for the principle personage of the apparitions. “ “Fr. TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY: September 24, 1962 “The girls live a life of true sacrifice. Conchita’s mother told me that she sleeps better in a chair than in her own bed now since she passes so much time sitting and waiting with us for the ecstasies. She sleeps supporting her head on the wall. The next day she goes to work, and so do the girls. They wash, clean, go to the river to do laundry, and continue with normal life. On Sundays they play in the road with the other girls from the village. We see them very little on the days when they work. They are very healthy and beautiful. They don’t show any signs of fatigue. They are very different from others in their character and their manner of acting. I asked them if they are friends, and they said that they were as good friends with each other as they were with the other girls in the village.
