Despite all the Graces I have received this week, I still haven’t stopped, I used to be free for weeks and now I’m in this state. Tomorrow is the anniversary of Pope Francis’s Consecration and there may be a chance that something Chastisemal may happen and I won’t be ready. I need to stop, I need to stop wasting time and yet I can’t seem to do it.

 

Pray, trust and don't worry.

Hi everyone, I am finally doing better now, thanks be to God, I have been able to receive a lot of Graces this Holy Week and improve a lot and overcome a lot of my anxieties. Do offer some Hail Marys in thanksgiving for this.

I’m still looking for employment but have applied either as a gift shop clerk or gift shop assistant at a local museum, Lord-willing I’ll get hired soon; I have also been doing the First Saturday devotion for my future wife, the final Saturday being this May, I really hope and pray I am employed and find someone then.

I often think of the words, in the 'Hail Holy Queen' 'Mourning and weeping in this valley of tears'.

When I was young I used to think this was very grim and over the top. But back then what did I ever know of what life can throw at you? Life can be very,very hard sometimes.

When I listen to, 'Born Again' Evangelical Christians sometimes I sense this kind of , 'I've got it made ', thing sometimes. But really I think the Way of the Christian is the Way of the Cross. Nevertheless there is a deep, deep, deep won peace and joy, a happiness the World cannot rob us of.

I came across the story of a very young woman who died in great Sanctity only a few years ago but endured the just about the most appalling suffering I have read of in my entire life and she had this from when she just a baby. She overcame it by not overcoming it, but by embracing it as a Gift from God.

Perhaps hearing about her may help you as it helps me.

When I hear about a young girl like this, it makes me laugh at my own little pin pricks. I have been thinking about her a lot the last few days.

She was born on Holy Saturday.
