Things have been rough for me for several months by rough I mean pain etc. my weight is down quite a bit too since eating has been difficult. I see my doctor today and I thought that some prayers could be very helpful. In addition, my husband has been getting bad abdominal pains on and off for about 3 weeks now. So, a quick prayer for him would be appreciated also. Thank you in advance. I also would like to ask you for prayers for a very, very good friend of mine’s siblings. One of his older sisters was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and one of his older brothers is in the hospital with a sepsis infection. They are truly a loving family and I hate to see 2 of them going through horrible illnesses at the same time. Thank you so very much.+

Prayers Carol for yourself , your husband and your friends family. It is kind of you to think of others when you Carrying Big Crosses yourself. It is also a very Good Sign when you continue to believe in the Power of Prayer. Prayers now and through the working night.
I will say special prayers for all of you. The issues you are suffering are debilitating. A good friend recently had her gall bladder out to alleviate similar pain. She seems to think it helped. Has your doctor considered Chrones disease? My husband has gone through this. It is difficult to diagnose but the loss of weight and the constant pain sound similar. They have some very good meds for this I think. I will pray for wisdom for your doctor.

Carol - ask your doctor about the antibiotic Rifamaxin. It really does help with diverticulitis, C. difficile etc. Doctors today have no idea that bacteria exists. They do C scans, endoscopy, MRI’s and don’t consider bacteria. I’ll continue praying.
Dearest Caroline, I think about you often and offer small prayers for you, in addition to the daily rosary I offer for the MoG forum members holy intentions in which you are included. It is heart wrenching to see that God has you stretched on the cross at this moment. Stay strong, God is using your sufferings to save many souls. May Our Dearest Mother Mary, mother you right now. Amen I have been racking my brain trying to think of something that may help your appetite to return. For some reason, I believe smashed avocados with finely chopped onion on dry crisp rice crackers and (possibly mashed boiled eggs with a hint of curry, if you can stomach eggs) may be helpful to increase your appetite and weight. I will step up my prayers for you as well as for your husband, which many wonderful MoG members have addressed above. I will also pray for your friends siblings. God Bless you. Thank you both. I know why I have the pain and I haven’t wanted to get into all of my health issues here for a few different reasons mainly because I haven’t wanted you all to think of me in that light but at times I will continue to lean on you all for prayers, I hope you don’t mind. I had abdominal pains for years and doctors could not figure anything out, but everything went back to normal after I stopped eating wheat and cut out sugar. Dietary changes can make a huge difference...
