Hi Wild Wyoming. FWIW, my intention in quoting Canon 212 was not a call to protest our bishops. I agree with you. I don't think that would help anything. The times we are in are prophesied and locked in. The "consummation of the age" is at hand.

For me, bringing up Canon 212 was simply an attempt at "fraternal correction" directed to those who might want to silence other Catholics for speaking their conscience on the papal resignation issue. It was intended as an attempt at finding common ground, so that we can have a more open discussion without fear of repercussions. Sorry for the confusion I might have caused.

I agree Frodo, prayer and penance. Wait on the Lord.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices. - Psalm 37:7

Hi Frodo. With all due respect. We seem to have an unsubstantiated claim by "the miracle hunter." He doesn't post any evidence for his claim of the "negative opinion." He just makes a statement. So are we to just trust him? I see on his website that he makes a living off of a radio show, selling books, and speaking at conferences. Sounds like quite a successful business man.

On the other hand, I have at my disposal 22 years worth of Giuseppe Auricchia messages, in which he pours out his heart for Jesus and Mary. A man who seems to have visited the Blessed Sacrament daily and dedicated most his life to Our Lady.

Do whatever you want, but I think some might want to do their own investigation of Giuseppe Auricchia rather than just trust "the miracle hunter."

I was shown in prayer just a few days before poor old Pope Benedict, a quiet shy old scholar tossed his hat in, in sight of his office in the Vatican. He was seated behind his desk when a priest come in and showed him some documents, I believe, the result of an inquiry he had initiated of the ongoing heresy and corruption in the Vatican at it's very highest levels.

When he even started to read it he burst out crying like a little child, a baby crying torments of tears, shaking with them, his agony of grief, from top to bottom, and it was then he decided to go and abandon his post; the Father left his flock...and to whom?

I read later that one particular Cardinal picked him off the ground and shook the poor old guy. Threatening to attack him.

    To what?

But I leave these things to God to Judge...

He is a prisoner now to these thugs.

And regardless of Bugnolo’s well deserved negative appraisal in general, he makes some valid points about Giuseppe:

These apparitions have never been formally approved or disapproved, from what I gather after having questioned Mr. Oliva at great length. While it is true that some of the Bishops have personally discounted them and that the local clergy pay them no heed, no formal investigation was undertaken nor has any canonical decree been issued, as I gather from Mr. Oliva. If you do a web search of the kind – Nostra Signora del Pino, Avola – you will find abundant references to these apparitions from long before the [questions about Pope Francis’ validity]

Thank God and His grace I don't loose my peace so much anymore. I maybe loose it a little bit about Pope Frankie but not so much,

I recall the counsel of Scripture that if you go into one city and rejected leave them to it, shake the dust of your feet and go your own way.

So mostly I have left Pope Frankie and his minions to it.

But I throw in my two cents worth from time to time.

    They are a lousy lot.

    I'll leave it at that.

A lousy totally , totally rotten lot.

  10. I read them a few years ago, nothing to do with From Rome.

But we must pray and pray very very hard. Because the more we pray for Pope Francis, the less power Satan has over him. This is a true supernatural war. It’s all real. And it’s happening now.

If we pray for someone and he rejects the grace he receives, he falls even more under the power of Satan.

But the thing is other people don't.

If someone decides for hell , well that's where they're going. We can only do what we can; it's their decision. It's always, always, always their decision.

But there is the most famous case in the Life if Blessed Anne Marie Tiaggi of a soul a gentleman who totally, totally chose hell but wound up in heaven.

Grace is Free but it's never ever cheap.

Bought by the Blood of the Lamb.

    Totally depraved.

As he died Anne Marie prayed for him and he died just at the very point when he received the Eucharist for God told her if he had lived a few moments more he would have gone to hell.

Jesus told her that he was only saved by being picked up by the hairs of his head and dragged to heaven.

It is important to earnestly pray to the Two Hearts for wisdom and peace; the beautiful verse above indicates that God is in charge and satan is on a leash. Justice, mercy, and peace will prevail.

Our heavenly home awaits God's children: to gaze upon His face and the beauty of His holiness should be our steadfast desire.

Wonderful, an investigation! Can you tell me what your research found regarding the Bishop’s opinion of the alleged apparitions? Seems like a reasonable starting point, no?

Also, have you tried reaching out to the website to obtain documentation? Or are you content with trying to discredit his work because he sells books and goes on the radio?

Hi Frodo. Since you were the one who suggested that "the miracle hunter" was a good source, don't you think it would be incumbent upon you to do your research before insinuating that Giuseppe Auricchia was a fraud? Otherwise, you are spreading rumors and ruining a man's good name without evidence.

My comment about "the miracle hunter" related the facts that I gathered from his website. They were not my opinions:

    1) He did not provide any evidence for his claim (a point also made by you in your post).
    2) He is a businessman who focuses on miracles and promotes himself through various media (not a secret).

Since I don't pay any attention to undocumented claims about apparitions, I did not contact "the miracle hunter." Sadly, one could spend a lifetime contacting all the self-appointed apparition police and correcting them. I choose not to spend my time doing that.

Concerning Giuseppe Auricchia, I have no reason to think he was a fraud. I have read his messages. They align with events that have already occurred and agree, in general, with future events discussed by other Marian apparitions that I follow.

This “self appointment policeman” is considered an expert in the field having been on relevant radio, EWTN and other outlets. The fact he doesn’t link the document might be because it doesn’t exist in linkable form or other good reasons. From what I’ve read and seen, his work seems solid. It’s perplexing that you are hung up on him selling things so he can make a living. But be that as it may. To each their own. But if you are going to insist you are investigating, it isn’t very hard to write an email… Reading the messages do not mean you are investigating it. That much is clear from your postings.

Actually, it should be incumbent on you to prove otherwise. 1) An expert in good standing asserts his bishop judged negatively and 2) a sympathetic website in Italian admits the same. That’s two independent sources that say the same thing. Can you find one source that is credible that counters that claim?

Of course you are free to do whatever you like. But before pushing apparition which call into question very serious claims, it should be incumbent on you, and everyone, to do the basic due diligence on what the Church’s opinion is.

I literally spent 10 minutes and found 2 sources that say the Bishop is against these apparitions. Let those who know how to truly discern be warned.

Are we free to discuss these alleged messages or are we in danger of going down a rabbit hole of claim and counter claim?

I am interested in the messages but it doesn't mean I believe in them or approve of them.

I would also like to find out who Giussepi was and what kind of life he lived.
