I don’t think you are wrong…or paranoid. As scripture reminds us, read the signs of the times. I’ve been monitoring web sites and credible YouTube channels about all of the above. I believe even Biden commented( probably against his handlers wishes) that shortages are coming. ( worse than existing ones). Varied food shortage reports from everywhere are being reported. Peru and Sri Lanka are in shortage crisis and riots now. Yes, I think things world over might be catastrophic….I pray I’m wrong, but at this point given the political atmosphere and the war repercussions, I think it certainly is a possibility. Yes, we need to prepare. Error on the side of caution. Worse case senecio is a nuclear event…not sure you can prepare anything but your soul for that one. I go to weekly confessions, wear my scapular, pray my rosary / Divine Mercy and try to make it to daily mass and adoration. I need to get my soul and my family to heaven. I’m praying for Gods mercy for us all….including my enemies. War is a punishment from heaven for sin, so it is…… This may be part of the chastisement…..God have mercy on the whole world.

Well covid is back in our neck of the woods. The Adoration Chapel is closed for Holy Week because of covid exposure. Now I must shift gears to get to Holy Thursday and Good Friday. I hope everyone at thd chapel is all right. Some of the nuns are very elderly and frail.
I'll probably take it if it has no links with abortion. At my age, long term side effects aren't a huge factor. Even short term side effects aren't such a big deal because I could have a stroke tomorrow (God forbid). My attitude would be different if I were middle aged or younger.
We live in a small community and covid is rampant. I have Holy hrs to do and I am afraid and afraid to go to mass because so many have it and we are compromised with diabetes- me- and my husband has COPD . Can covid live in the chapel I wonder. Our priest said “Come to mass you will have to die sometime”. I thought we were excused from pain of mortal sin during the pandemic but now I’m not sure. I thought maybe we would try to avoid it because it’s all around us.

Ok so it’s on our diocese website that if you at increased risk you are dispensed from mass obligation. And I think most of my Holy hrs are probably cancelled because they are before a funeral— hubby helped with that one and there were 2 on Good Friday and 1 Holy Sat and they will all be cancelled. It was a week where I was able to help people who were going away and i got all worked up. Still awake at2:30. Please sleep come. But God is good He kept putting sense in my head and my husband thought of the funeral. I’ll pray at home.
