Honestly, I just came across the same figure while scrolling the web because of the milllennialism etc and I can not find it where - but it was referred as a tribulation period before the Last Judgement, that's why I am asking. I can't find where I was reading about it, since it was not my main goal of searching.

well I know that REV 13:5 also mentions 42 months (3.5 years) so its a figure that pops up

    More on this:

"Mexico City: President Barack Obama said on Thursday he was comfortable with his administration's decision to allow over-the-counter purchases of a morning-after pill for anyone 15 and older.

The Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday had lowered the age at which people can buy the Plan B One-Step morning-after pill without a prescription to 15 - younger than the current limit of 17. The FDA decided that the pill could be sold on drugstore shelves near condoms, instead of locked behind pharmacy counters.

Obama, speaking at a news conference while in Mexico, said the FDA's decision was based on "solid scientific evidence.""

    UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!

Have only just come across this thread, but having read the LTTW messages I can see why people are making this connection with Rev 11. I hadn't done so myself, nor connected the Two Witnesses passage with the Third Secret, but who knows?

Tempting though it may be to speculate, Revelation 11 seems written in such a way that we will only probably only grasp its fulfillment with the benefit of hindsight (what Rev. 11:6 might mean is absolutely beyond me). So please take any thoughts below with a large pinch of salt ...

I would be very surprised myself if Benedict went to Jerusalem with Pope Francis given his age. So let me throw out another idea - on March 20, 2013 Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople invited Francis to Jerusalem for the 50th anniversary of the reconciliation between Paul VI and Patriarch Athenagoras. Don't think that will happen this year ... but what if the two witnesses were the leaders of the Western and Eastern Church respectively?

Pure speculation on my part, of course, and nothing more than an off-the-cuff idea.
What definitely sets my pulse racing, however, are Shimon Peres' words to Pope Francis inviting him to the Holy City already mentioned on another thread:

'I am expecting you in Jerusalem, not just me but the whole country of Israel'. Again, knowing what is predicted in the LTTW messages (yes, I know they still await confirmation ...) about the conversion of the Jewish people to Christ, my gut reaction is that Peres might just in some way be prophesying without knowing it. Just my intuition here, but we do have a very good Biblical precedent for such unconscious prophecy from a leader of Israel - Caiaphas as recorded in John 11:50-51:

''it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish.' He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation ...'

Now this is only my theological imagination expressing itself, and I could be talking nonsense, but if a Pope is indeed going to die in Jerusalem, triggering the conversion of Israel, you might expect Biblical parallels with Christ's death of just this sort...

    Watch and pray!

My sources tell me that he only eats them after they have been drowned in some Martini for an hour.

Almost forgot...only eats them like this under the light of blessed candles.

Lets all be honest - if we were God then the thunder and lightening bolts would have hit already!

But He is patient for a reason. Incredibly patient.

I am more and more struck by the two Popes being the two witnesses. It seems to fit so exactly. I think, prayerfully, it deserves much wider coverage amongst the Catholic community. It would be a very good idea if it were passed on to sites such as Spirit Daily and Spirit Digest.

Very striking indeed, it may well be a Marian Secret.[IMG]

I am a little awed but delighted it seems to have been mooted here first. Very pleased indeed. Our Lady is very good.

Much, much, much to treasure and to pray over!!

    Luke 2:19

But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.

This I imagine would be the truth of the holy spirit ( a reality to our souls that God exists)

Yes Insearch I have always had a child like attitude that a Our Lady (mother) stands and pleads our case to her son Jesus (as we hide behind her mantle) begging him to ask the Father for mercy..after all she is always pointing the way to her Son..A bit like any mother defending the wrongs of a child to a father (as the child hides behind her skirt)...I just hope she never says to me those words that my mother often said to me "just ye wait til yer father gets home":)
