This is where the tire meets the road. They may not be Catholic, but they went all out for Jesus and stood firm in spite of intense persecution. Will I be faithful in the face of such hatred? I would like to think so. It is coming to my "neighborhood" soon.

Yes it is, it's coming to all of our neighborhoods, and very soon. It's easy to say we'd stand firm in the face of such persecution, but in that moment, would we? We will only do so if we're preparing now, daily speaking out and defending Truth whenever we encounter error and the evil one's lies. It's like practicing for a game, or training for a career, we can't just show up and expect to do it when the Super Bowl is on the line, we have to be practicing it every day so we're ready when the time comes

Carol55, WOW! Thank you for sharing this video! I watched every minute of it. I wonder how many of us could stand up to that kind of attack? To lose everything for Christ, and NOT lose Christ. What a test of faith this family had to endure. Very frightening, but very inspiring at the same time!
Thankfully, even the weakest of us can receive God's grace and courage in the moment we need it, if we rely upon Him like a child!
French president Macron will visit Lourdes on July 16th, feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. I only see the news in French and not in English yet. I guess we should all be praying for him given that he is going to see Our Lady.
