All of the apparitions and revelations I've read about that speak of the end times talk about the 19th and 20th centuries. Why no 21st century? Or have I missed something? It kind of feels like we're in some kind of extra time that wasn't supposed to exist... Anyone else feel that way? Why doesn't Mary ever talk about the 21st century?
Ok, I am not one to attribute supernatural qualities to unusual occurrences. But your comment about this being some kind of extra time.... Since the first of the year I have gone to Confession at least 3 or 4 times. But each time I go I always say how long it has been since my last Confession.... Each time I think back, it had been 2 or 3 weeks since my last Confession. I don't know how to explain it. I know that it is spiritually unwise to give these unusual experiences too much attention. If they are from God they will have their effect even if I pay them no attention. If the source is evil, it is best to pay them no attention. If it is my own imagination it is best to pay them no attention. I will just say God is the Lord of time and He can do what He wills.
Our Lady of Success, and a few others, mention specific centuries, but most of the legit ones don't give specific dates or centuries. Even so, make no mistake about it, there are prophecies aplenty for the 21st century. We just don't know which ones apply yet. Perhaps this one from Our Lady of Akita? As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by my Son. Each day, recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and the priests. The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, and bishops against other bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their Confreres. The Church and altars will be vandalized. The Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord...The demon will rage especially against souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of my sadness. If sins increase in number and gravity, there will no longer be pardon for them. Could this one from St. Faustina be just around the corner? Write this: before I come as the just Judge, I am coming first as the King of Mercy. Before the day of justice arrives, there will be given to people a sign in the heavens of this sort: All light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there will be great darkness over the whole earth. Then the sign of the cross will be seen in the sky and from the openings of the hands and the feet of the Savior were nailed will come forth great lights which will light up the earth for a period of time.” This will take place shortly before the last day. Prophecies usually require the privilege of hindsight. It won't be until these events actually take place that we can stick the proper date on them.
Funny you mention this. I have had the same experience! I actually find my self saying "maybe two weeks..." and I am not even sure. Time has become very odd--its passage truly disturbing. It is like a speeding train. And then I have this sensation of time folding in on itself. The past seems very current to me. Not long ago at all. As if the eternal "now" of God's time approaches. Obviously my age may be part of this but young people are saying it too.
It seems as if so far the 21st century is just an extension of the 20th. "Second verse same as the first!"
has anyone stopped to think if the "celestial schedule" would follow a count of the centuries from the death of Christ (era of universal redemption) then what was predicted in the prophecies for 2000 would be for the years 2030-2033 (considering that the crucifixion was between the year 30 and 33)
This could make sense! Was Jesus' entrance into the world the beginning of a new era, or was His death/resurrection the beginning?

It’s very, very strange. We often talk about this rapid passage of time at home among ourselves. I am beginning to hear this from others, not only here on the forum, but from strangers in passing. I was at a car dealership with my husband yesterday, when out of the blue a young salesman asked us if we thought time was passing at an unusually fast pace, especially since COVID came on the scene. I was quite surprised when he brought this up, and I told him I felt the same. Considering our lives have become pretty mundane due to the various COVID restrictions, one would think it would make time drag, not speed up. Funny thing though, not everyone notices the acceleration of time.
To clarify, the topic I meant was the speeding up of time, not the original thread topic (though related). Sorry for any confusion, Purple Flower. Here we go: https://motheofgod.com/threads/motus-in-fine-velocior-motion-accelerates-when-the-end-is-near.10539/
I believe that death and resurrection for being the end of an old covenant and the beginning of a new one, also has the question of the Church being born from the open side of Christ in an analogy to the creation of Eve from the rib of Adam. it is also significant that in the year (30-33) paradise is opened to the people of God with the entry of Christ and the good thief.
The article is fine. And remember important things. Now, let them continue to say that the Consecration to Russia has not been done when Sister Lucia has repeatedly said that the one made by John Paul II in 1984 is valid ... I don't really understand this.
