I have been following this closely for several weeks: Babies & kids appear to be safer -- older people that is those over 70 seem to be particularly vulnerable, especially if they have underlying issues - smokers' appear to be more at risk. Anyone 50 plus are also at great risk I think (like myself). Important to remember that we are going to experience an early wave -- into the Spring of 2020. In the Spanish flu outbreak of 1918 there were 3 waves 1. Spring of 1918 2. Autumn 1918 3. Winter early 1919 The 2nd & 3rd waves were worse than the first -- Please God that this outbreak will not be a copy-cat.

Saying what transport the patient used from Dublin to Belfast is not a breach of confidentiality. People absolutely have a right to know. They should also say which day he travelled. They should follow the example of some countries who have been very transparent and stop this BS of deciding which information they think is okay for us to hear. They're going to face a lot of public anger
What are they thinking!? This is critical public health information. We had an infected person in my state, and they immediately informed the public about any locations that he had visited. Hopefully they will soon come to their senses. Prayers for all of you in Ireland.
