I ask that you pray for my sister. She just had a mass removed from her stomach, and the doctors did not think it was cancerous. But her lymph node tests came back questionable, so they are doing further testing. Please pray for favorable test results, and for her during this time. She doesn't really consider herself catholic, but at least she does believe in a God and an afterlife. I pray she reaches out to Jesus during this time. Thank you all for your prayers. I'll also quickly update you on my dad. He was diagnosed with cancer at the end of July. It was a very difficult 6-8 weeks right after the diagnosis as we was in and out of the hospital, and having bad side effects from the chemo. But right now the doctors believe he might be in remission, as his numbers are great and he feels great. Only 10% of people taking the chemo that he takes go into remission (he's older, so it's a light chemo), but he seems to be one of them. Thanks be to God...it is like a little miracle!! He doesn't even have side effects anymore! I hope the prayers of this forum product similar results for my sister.

Sometimes we spend time wondering what our mission is when it is staring us in the face!! At least at this point and time I know what I should be doing!
