If anyone thinks he emptied the hierarchy in key positions within the Vatican and replaced them with like minded elevated Cardinals for the heck of it, they are as naive as they come. He has stacked the deck, so to speak, to move the mind of the church away from what has always been held. The only question is how soon will it take place? My bet is very soon after the heretical Amazon Synod. Those of us who trust the prophets of today, such as Pedro Regis, know they have been speaking to the period of "hold on the truths you have been taught" for years now.....but with a whole lot more emphasis within the past several months.

The way I look at it is, the sooner the purification begins, the sooner the era of peace comes...... whether I make it through it or not. Come Lord Jesus, Come! We must keep our eyes and hearts fixed on the Kingdom, the fulfillment of the Lord's Prayer.

While the German Bishops proceed to cede Church leadership to a de-facto schismatic group of influential laypersons in that country, Pope Francis attacks faithful Catholics for their "rigidity" and accuses them of being in schism. His response to the Germans in his usual convoluted BS language could be summed up in a single sentence: "Slow down until the rest of us catch up with you".

Nobody but Pope Francis and his friends have mentioned schism. They're itching for it but they know that to get schism from faithful Bishops they will have to excommuniate those Bishops for being faithful to Church teaching.

Should a schism come, I'll be watching those German Bishops and choosing the opposite side to them.

That I interpret as describing what would be left of the Church when all the atheists, apostates and heretics have abandoned Her. They might ostensibly even appear to be in the Church, but if one abandons the Gospel is it not logical that one commits to a de facto schism, even if holding the highest office in the Church?

The question of sin doesn't necessarily come into it. It hasn't even been demonstrated that such warming is necessarily a bad thing. The advantages might outweigh the alleged disadvantages. Regardless, these are prudential matters regarding which God has chosen not to Reveal any particular advice. So, provided one follows the general Commandments, one may take either side of these matters based on the information that one finds most convincing.

However, and I've said it before, nobody has the right to appropriate the authority of the Church in advocating their personal opinions on such matters-so sayeth Vatican II.

With sin is the result of every evil that exists. We know this from the moment when Adam and Eve sinned against God. Prior to this everything had perfect place, purpose and order. The lions laid with the lamb and you know the rest of the story. Sin took the harmony of God's creation away. This will all be restored when we enter the era of the Divine Will, in fulfillment of the Lord's prayer. Yes, it is sin that causes every bad condition in our world. Bad weather too is the result of sin, as we know from biblical history of Noah's time with the purification of sodomy 4000 years ago. As man sins against God's will, he lifts the restrainer and permits evil to exist. Climate change is part of God's justice and we will see a whole lot of this going forward, as credible prophecy foretells.

There is an attempt by the Culture of Death to place the blame for what is a cosmic disorder consequential, as you say, upon the sin of Adam upon the general people with the intention, in my view, to use this misplaced guilt and responsibility as a Trojan Horse for the implementation of an extreme anti-humanist, global persecution. In other words, they are lying and creating a scare which will provide them the excuse to liquidate the problem, that is the population will be drastically reduced, one way or another. Simultaneously, the kind of freedoms which God had always intended for His people, the freedom to reproduce according to His Biblical commands and the freedom to temperately eat as you desire with only very few restrictions will be taken away.

The Culture of Death openly proposes ending what they call 'factory farming'. They would return us to 'organic' farming ultimately. However, it is due to intensive farming that modern-day mankind has managed to unprecedentedly feed so many billions of people in the world. I have read that organic farming could at most support about a quarter of a billion people. Coincidentally, that number correponds with the number our elite betters, such as in the Club of Rome and other 'environmentally concerned' institutions aspire to as the 'ideal' human population level. The sums are very plain that death levels of a novel sort will be required to achieve this.

God's Justice is not to be denied. I have the sneaking suspicion it will arrive as a new Ice Age triggered by the efforts of the global warmists to reduce world temperatures. Even now, some have the hubris to propose using air-borne chemicals to block out the sun.

I know it is woo woo but many think this has been going on for quite some time already here in the US. The only reason I can think of that they would actually come out publicly for it is that they need to increase it's implementation drastically to reach some goal.

    Blizzard,

This discussion about schism has me wondering exactly who (which group of people) have been painting Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre as a hero. Pope Francis even mentioned him in that interview.

Thank God, truly, that we have some orthodox clergymen who have continued to stay in the barque of St. Peter and have continued to suggest the same to all Catholics. Otherwise, it would be the orthodox clergymen and laity out on that limb and Pope Francis and company would only be too happy to cut that limb straight off the tree!

Totally agree, chemtrails! I’ve noticed them for years. The oddest thing is that on 9/11, our local sky was such a brilliant blue! That’s because no planes were flying and no chemtrails! Shock!

Viganò: New Church Is the Real Goal
Abp. Viganò: 'This process became strikingly evident in modern times'

ROME (ChurchMilitant.com) - Creating a so-called "new Church" is a centuries-old project of Freemasons that has accelerated under revolution-minded clerics in the last 60 years, according to Abp. Carlo Maria Viganò.

In an interview published on Monday by Dr. Robert Moynihan, founder and editor-in-chief of Inside the Vatican, Viganò echoed the warnings from Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI published in April affirming that the current crisis of clerical sex abuse stems from a larger crisis involving widespread efforts to refashion the Catholic Church.

In a previous interview with Moynihan in August, Viganò named the "Jesuits" as key players in a "60-year-old plan" to bring a "new sort of thinking" into the "heart of the Church" that was "little interested in Catholic liturgy or morality or theology."

In this new interview, Moynihan asks the archbishop if the plan actually dated back even farther to dissident Jesuit theologians and even to the "French Revolution in 1789."

"I agree fully," Viganò replied. "Certainly it is a project, if you will, that goes back centuries, in particular, to the creation in the middle of the 1700s of freemasonry."

The archbishop then explains how these efforts to change Catholic doctrine and Church practice began to accelerate in the 1960s with Vatican II. The bishops, he said, had decided to keep the Council's original working documents, called schemas, but a Jesuit cardinal helped influence the Pope to replace them with new schemas drafted by liberal theologians:

The maneuver to nullify this decision came especially through the offices of one very prominent member of the Society of Jesus, Cardinal Augustin Bea. He and others were able to convince Pope John XXIII to set aside the prepared schemas and replace them with other schemas prepared by theologians especially from northern Europe, Hans Küng, Karl Rahner, and others.

Viganò added that this was the "beginning of an opening" in the "process of creating a new Church."

He then described how the Jesuits played a prominent role in misinterpreting the 16 documents authored during the Council. He tells of how the Jesuits met after the Council ended in 1965 and again in 1966 to discuss how to present specific "precise amendments" authored by then-Pope Paul VI. The outcome of these efforts by the Jesuits' was devastating, according to the archbishop.

"So what happened after Vatican II ended in 1965," said Viganò, "was absolutely the opposite of a policy of continuity, which would have been the correct interpretation of the Vatican II documents."

A "huge machine of media propaganda" quickly spread the false interpretations of the Vatican II documents, he said. He remarked how "similar media machinery" is currently trying to portray Pope Francis as being in union with his predecessors on Catholic doctrine and discipline.

This phrase 'new paradigm' is a strategy to cover up the true goal.Tweet
It's being claimed that "the 'new paradigm' of Pope Francis is in continuity with the teaching of his predecessors," remarked Viganò. "But it is not so, it is a 'new church.'"

"This phrase 'new paradigm' is a strategy to cover up the true goal," attests Viganò. "But it is used to mislead, to deceive, suggesting a continuity without revealing that they are seeking a discontinuity."

The archbishop harkened back to the essay published in April by Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.

It would be opportune to remind readers "on this subject of the new Church what was published in April by Emeritus Pope Benedict on the project of founding a new church," recalls Viganò. "He said this would be a catastrophe."

In his essay, Benedict XVI writes, "The idea of a better Church, created by ourselves, is in fact a proposal of the devil."

This isn't the first time that Viganò has appealed to the writings of a former pope in warning the faithful about the dangers of a so-called new Church.

In an address to U.S. bishops at their general assembly in November of 2013, Abp. Viganò, then the apostolic nuncio to the United States, brought up a similar theme. Quoting a 1976 address given by Pope John Paul II to U.S. bishops before his election to the papacy, Viganò stated:

We are now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has ever experienced. I do not think that the wide circle of the American Society, or the whole wide circle of the Christian Community realize this fully. We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-church, between the gospel and the anti-gospel, between Christ and the antichrist. The confrontation lies within the plans of Divine Providence. It is, therefore, in God's Plan, and it must be a trial which the Church must take up, and face courageously.

Cardinal Burke, Bishop Schneider Announce Crusade of Prayer and Fasting
Citing “serious theological errors and heresies” in the Amazon Synod’s working document, they call on the faithful to pray and fast for 40 days to prevent such errors being approved.
    Edward Pentin

Cardinal Raymond Burke and Bishop Athanasius Schneider have issued an eight-page declaration warning against six “serious theological errors and heresies” they say are contained in the Amazonian Synod working document, and calling for prayer and fasting to prevent them being approved.

Cardinal Burke, patron of the Sovereign Order of Malta, and Bishop Schneider, auxiliary of Astana, Kazakhstan, have also published the appeal so Pope Francis may “confirm his brethren in the faith by an unambiguous rejection of the errors” in the working document.

They propose that clergy and laity “pray daily at least one decade of the Holy Rosary and to fast once a week” for such intentions over a 40 day period, from Sept. 17 to Oct. 26.

The working document, called an instrumentum laboris, is meant to guide discussions during the upcoming Oct. 6-27 synod of bishops whose theme is: Amazonia, New Paths for the Church and for an Integral Ecology.

But the text has received some trenchant criticism since it was published in June from "various prelates and lay commentators, as well as lay institutions." Most notably they include Cardinal Walter Brandmüller, president emeritus of the Pontifical Committee for Historical Sciences, and Cardinal Gerhard Müller. prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

One particularly contentious area concerns the subject of priestly celibacy. In their declaration, Cardinal Burke and Bishop Schneider ask that the Pope not approve the “abolition” of priestly celibacy in the Latin Church through the ordination of married men of proven virtue, the so-called “viri probati”.

The working document proposes discussion of such a measure to help bring the Eucharist to faithful in remote Amazon areas that are without a priest. Critics are concerned about such an innovation, in particular that it could undermine mandatory priestly celibacy universally by being latterly applied to all areas suffering from a shortage of priestly vocations.

    “Principal Errors”

The American cardinal and Kazakh bishop write that they believe it is “their duty to make the faithful aware” of six “principal” errors “being spread through the instrumentum laboris.”

The first they list is “implicit pantheism” — the identification of God with the universe and nature where God and the world are one — which they say is rejected by the Magisterium.

Secondly, they criticize the notion put forward in the working document that pagan superstitions are “sources of Divine Revelation and alternative pathways for salvation.” This implies Amazon tribes have pagan superstitions that are an “expression of divine Revelation,” deserving of “dialogue and acceptance” by the Church, they argue.

Citing Church documents, the two prelates state the Magisterium rejects such “relativization” of God’s revelation, and instead “affirms that there is one unique Savior, Jesus Christ, and the Church is His unique Mystical Body and Bride.”

Thirdly, they cite as erroneous the theory contained in the document that “aboriginal people have already received divine revelation, and that the Catholic Church in the Amazon should undergo a ‘missionary and pastoral conversion.’” The Magisterium rejects such a notion of missionary activity as “merely intercultural enrichment,” they argue, and that inculturation is primarily about “evangelization” that makes the Church a “more effective instrument of mission.”

Fourthly, they criticize the working document for its support of “tailoring Catholic ordained ministries to the ancestral customs of the aboriginal people, granting official ministries to women and ordaining married leaders of the community as second-class priests, deprived of part of their ministerial powers but able to perform shamanic rituals.”

“The Magisterium of the Church rejects such practices, and their implicit opinions,” the prelates state, and draw on a number of Church documents including Pope St. Paul VI encyclical Sacerdotalis Coelibatus and Pope St. John Paul II’s apostolic letter Ordiniatio Sacerdotalis, to underline their point.

Fifthly, they state that consistent with the document’s “implicit pantheistic views,” the instrumentum laboris “relativizes Christian anthropology” by considering man “a mere link in nature’s ecological chain” and “socioeconomic development as an aggression to ‘Mother Earth.’” The Magisterium rejects such beliefs that man does not possess “a unique dignity” above “material creation” and the “technological progress is bound up with sin,” they state.

Lastly, they warn against what the working document calls an integral “ecological conversion” which includes “the adoption of the collective social model” of aboriginal tribes, where “individual personality and freedom are undermined.” The Magisterium, the two signatories say, again “rejects such opinions” and they go on to quote from the Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church.

    Manifestation of Confusion

In conclusion, Cardinal Burke and Bishop Schneider say these “implicit and explicit” errors are an “alarming manifestation of the confusion, error and division which beset the Church in our day.”

They add that “no one” can say they were not aware of the “gravity of the situation” and so excuse themselves from “taking appropriate action” for love of Christ and His Church.

Given such a threat, they call on “all members” of the Church to “pray and fast” for her members “who risk being scandalized, that is led into confusion, error and division” by the synod text.

They write that “every Catholic, as a true soldier of Christ” is called to “safeguard and promote the truths of the faith” lest the synod bishops “betray” the synod’s mission which is to assist the Pope in the “preservation and growth of faith and morals.”

And recalling that Blessed John Henry Newman will be canonized during the synod, they reference two of his writings in which he “warned against theological errors similar to the above-mentioned errors in the instrumentum laboris.”

They close by calling on the Blessed Virgin Mary and the intercession of missionary saints to the indigenous American people to protect the synod’s bishops and the Holy Father “from the danger of approving doctrinal errors and ambiguities, and of undermining the Apostolic rule of priestly celibacy.”
