Happy birthday! Was at Knock Shrine today. Huge crowd turned out for the birthday.

That’s wonderful Torrentum! I brought a big birthday cake to share with parishioners after Mass this morning. I was so pleased to see how many people stayed, we ran out of cake! But it was surprising that most people didn’t know what the occasion was.(n)

    Yes, Happy Birthday!

And this makes me sadly aware of NO mention at all ("tomorrow is...") at last evening's Mass.

I'm new to Catholicism and honestly forgot Mary's birthday is today (I couldn't attend Mass today).

The priest last evening only discussed politics.

That’s a lovely gesture, you might start a trend or new tradition of cakes after Mass on the 8th......now that would be a tradition I’d love to see having such a sweet tooth!

The cake wasn’t just from me, it’s actually a Legion of Mary tradition we do every year. We sang Happy Birthday to Our Lady with the parishioners too! It was wonderful.:)

Viska said recently in a vision she saw of heaven she saw Our Lady walking down the golden street and nodding recognition to everyone she met. She knew everyone of course she she is everyone's mother.

I thought this was very beautiful.

    I was thinking this morning,

'If I meet Our Lady in heaven what would I say to her?'

I think in the first place I would just thank her for all she has done for me.

In the second place I would simply thank her for being her. All this is held in the Words of the, 'Hail Mary'. That's why we say it.:)
