Prayer of Dedication to the Blessed Virgin Mary Most holy Virgin Mary, Mother of God, although unworthy to be thy servant, yet moved by thy wonderful compassion and by my desire to serve thee, I now choose thee, in the presence of my Guardian Angel and of the whole Heavenly court, as my advocate and mother. I resolve always to love and serve thee for the future and to do whatever I can to lead others to love and serve thee. I ask thee, Mother of God, by the Blood which thy Son shed for me, to receive me as thy servant. Assist me in all my thoughts, words, and actions in every moment of my life, so that every step I take and every breath I breathe may be directed to the glory of God. Through thy powerful intercession, may I turn from sin and never offend Jesus. May my life give glory and honor to Him. With thee, may I praise Him forever in Heaven. My Mother Mary, I recommend my soul to thee now and at the hour of my death. Amen. Prostrated at thy feet, and humiliated by my sins, but full of confidence in thee, O Mary! I beg thee to accept the petition my heart is going to make. It is for my last moments, Dear Mother I wish to request thy protection and maternal love so that in the decisive instant thou wilt do all thy love can suggest on my behalf. To thee, O Mother of my soul, I consecrate THE LAST TWO HOURS of my life. Come to my side to receive my last breath and when death has cut the thread of my days, tell Jesus, presenting to Him my soul, "I LOVE IT." That word alone will be enough to procure for me the benediction of my God and the happiness of seeing thee for all eternity. I put my trust in thee, my Mother and hope it will not be in vain. Luke, May our Blessed Mother cradle you in her arms, wrap you in her mantle, and press you to her heart; just as she must've done with her son, Jesus, hundreds of times. I, too, pray for a miracle, but should the Lord take you home, please know that your presence on this forum will be greatly missed and not forgotten. Your courage and unwavering faith during your greatest trial has been an inspiration to us all. I will continue to pray for you and your family. God bless you.

I wanted to post this Hymn for Mac a few months back but I couldn't find a beautiful enough rendition of it, ....so I didn't Well I'm posting the same video I watched back then which did not impress me then, because it seemed so second rate!......but in the reality of the cold light of day.... I don't think it is second rate now!! This humble person in the video, gives his all to this most Glorious Hymn to the Mother. of Our Lord Jesus ........And I believe she would love it! Our Dearest Mother Mary is the Most loving of all Mothers so she understands our limitations, our age and also our longings for perfection!, besides this she loves the humble and those that humbly try.
