Praise you and thank you, dear Lord, for the several inches of much needed rain!! It's such a blessing! Through God's good graces, our languishing orchard may actually survive.
Thank you for a restful day with my husband, for sunshine here in Iowa, for a backyard to sit in, for lawn chairs to sit on, and for YouTube, which has The Mass on video, good songs, and prayers! Thank you, Lord, for teaching our hearts so many good things!
There was one very good thing happened to me this evening. I had a little book stored away called, 'The Little Blue Book'. It was given to a lady in England, married with a large family , a Stigmatic who lives only on the Eucharist. They consist of messages from Our LAdy. Anyway you are supposed to pray to Our Lady, open the book at random and you get a message. So today I did so. The message said that I am so busy all the time I pay insufficent time to turn to Our Lady, that I should more frequently turn the eys of my heart towards her. So I have been doing so, to my great reward and joy.
