I think creation groans at the increase of sin and that it rebels when outrageous violations of God’s Law occur. The ancients knew this. Even the pagans. None of this current weather—storms and volcanoes and droughts and earthquakes surprise me.
Perhaps God is saying that we should be either hot or cold but never luke warm. The days of coasting along in a luke warm stream of cultural Catholicism are over, we have to choose to be in or out, and it's not cool to be in, properly in.
I reckon the NWO types are having a go at geoengineering. God knows what's being sprayed down on top of us but it's also an attempt at weather control.

True -- we have had 6 weeks of nice weather after about 6 years of continual rain so how do they run out of water?
This isn't simply a reservoir issue. This is a once in a lifetime drought. Farmers are feeding their just harvested, winter reserves to their animals, in what should still be their grass harvesting season. There can be no beginning or end to our prayer and fasting for Ireland now... I have carried some aspects of Lent with me to this day, and can't see a reason to stop it this side of the grave. Jonah is correct - there is no more lukewarm. But if these conditions were reflected on an international level, there would be global food shortages this winter. This is no ordinary "dry summer".
I don't believe anyone can control the climate or weather - the natural phenomena that influence it are too great.
I remember 1976 very well - similar to what we are experiencing in Ireland right now -- so it is not unique

There are very good things happening too. Did you notice at one point between her tears Mirjana smiled. I was at mass in Newcastle the other day and watched a lady in about her 30's. she had the face of an angel and followed the mass so closely. I thought I was looking at someone from heaven. I think hell is doing things openly; but on the whole heaven is working in secret. But there are some very,very holy people going about. Even look at some of our priests.
I lost the dogs up the mountains and prayed hard to St Michael the arcangel. The dogs appeared when I had given up walking towards together through a bog in the middle of nowhere.. I went for a swim in the river and the heavy current took me. I had the dogs on a chain and they pulled me in. I just think heaven is very,very close. We cannot help looking at all the very bad things, but I think we really need to look out for all the good too. Every time now I walk into a Church for mass or confession I am just so happy we still have mass and a Church to go to. There may come a time when we we will not. Thank God for Holy Mother Church! Such a gift!!
