Thank you! We must keep up the prayers, those pushing the abortion agenda will play this down publicly but will be covertly doubling their efforts after today. Looking forward to hearing from those who were there today, it must have been amazing!
There seems to be a full media blackout. This won't stop the word getting around- otherwise how could so many have been motivated to turn up? Please God, the bloodthirsty push-back will sufficiently alienate enough of the lukewarm. I couldn't make it myself, as this was a weekend of professional on-duty for me. I have had a particularly busy day, so, although it isn't much, I suppose I can offer it up. A good day, hopefully the first of many.
There was a very small crowd of maybe 20 baby killers in the City Centre. They looked very sad and subdued. I felt a little sorry for them to be honest. I will pray and offer up mass tomorrow for them. I would not be surprised if we won the referendum.
With the help of God. It would not only be great for Ireland, but would reverberate beyond our shores. If we can snatch it out of the fire (in more ways than one), it will be huge encouragement to pro-lifers everywhere.
It would be a tremendous blessing and grace from God if Pro life won the referendum We are praying for it here Last night at our little chapel Mass (On Fridays in Lent)
Well there are some very, very holy people going about. They don't make a lot of noise but they do the buissness. I think maybe I saw quite a few saints going about today. One time on the march I saw peoples Guardian Angels standing over them, it was quite a sght. It reminded me of a story I heard of an exorcism in France . It was during the life time of the Cure of Ars. The devil said, 'Three more like the Cure of Ars and my Kingdom in France will fall!!' Ditto in Ireland . I was so impressed, so many very holy people. Wow!! It is not numbers we should be counting but angels.
Great atmosphere at the rally. I was near the front. I found a place to sit in Merrion Square and waited until all the marchers arrived but I couldn't wait for the speeches because I needed to get home and had further to walk back to my car. There's hope for us yet. The pro-death crowd were on their best behaviour today. Not so many of them and none of the usual abuse. I reckon they were told to be on their best behaviour. There was a bit of a scuffle in O'Connell St. with what looked like a ruffian attacking someone holding a pro-life poster but the Guards moved him off. All is not lost yet. There's hope for the babies.
There is I am filled with hope. The Old Testament is totally filled with stories of how a very few good people can defeat a huge host. Today I was so proud of Ireland. Maybe I have been too cynical. God is All Powerful and can do as He likes, even with the weakest of us. Maybe I was too much like Gideon. I am so sorry I did not bring my dogs down. They are so much more positive than me.
I'm aware tat not all pro lifers are Catholic, but imagine the outcome if even one tenth of attendees recited a rosary
Yes, it could make a huge difference. The Dominicans had a special pre-rally Mass today, too late for me to get there when I found out about it. Various religious groups were represented at the rally. The weirdest thing I saw was someone carrying a flag with what looked like a picture of Che Guevarra on it. Making my way to last summer's rally, I passed a man with a sign saying "Prayer is the answer, not Godless marches". I was tempted to ask him if he could walk and chew gum at the same time.
RTE are at it again... They put attendance at 15k. Seriously!?! Laughable.. We really could win this!!
Great day. So many people, from all over the country too. Those few on the repeal side looked like they needed prayers lots of prayers.
RTE, when they can spare a moment from grooming children, won't be able to lie about what happens at the ballot box. I look forward to their self-righteous condemnation of the ignorant deplorables if we, please God, win this referendum.
I was there and got home about an hour ago. It was amazing to see so many young people at it. Very encouraging. Great speeches from Declan Ganley, Niamh Ui Bhroin, Bernadette Smyth. The sleeping giant is waking up.
Everyone on MOG keep praying! The Rosary is the trumpet that will collapse the walls of Jericho. Joshua marched the Ark of the Covenant around the walls of that city of death and blew the trumpet and the walls came down. Our Mother Mary is the new Ark of the Covenant. I am so proud and happy for Ireland. Today as I prayed I asked all my Irish ancestors and their Guardian angels in heaven and in purgatory to join in my prayers. I am so so happy to hear of the turn out. I'm not surprised the black hats are diminishing the numbers. That is right out of the leftist death party playbook. And I love Padraig's description of the Guardian Angels.
I am so sorry Padraig that I didn't get talking to you or your brother. I left my post for a sec to talk to Border Collie but you had just gone then, it was great to see you anyway! Isn't it just amazing that RTE would be so blatent as to use a 15,000 figure for that march? That actually smacks of panic, it was definitely twice the size of last years one and that was estimated at 30-70,000 depending on who you believe. 100,000 is by no means an unreasonable figure and remember, Ireland has roughly only 5 million or so inhabitants.
sorry also I couldn't meet up but my son and 4 kids were travelling back to Limerick and we were under pressure. We hopefully will get another opportunity, maybe at Knock. Thanks so much to all our overseas supporters who are praying. We sre all in this together.
What a great day it was yesterday!! Such a big crowd of all ages at the march. It gives me hope for the country.
