I have read a few articles from that website and other similar ones here and there, mostly through google searches about the 3rd secret of Fatima or Vatican II.
Sometimes I can understand why they think they way they do. It is clear that the whole devastation of our Catholic faith and the way we practise it, happened rapidly after Vatican II. But I have no first hand experience of the changes as they occurred, and I am comforted by the belief that God will not hold me accountable for whatever errors I may believe in as a result of such being promulgated since Vatican II. I have tried my very best to learn about the truths of our Faith since I was baptised almost 9 years ago. I admit that there are things that JPII and Benedict XVI did that imho were grave errors, and make me very uncomfortable.
But this current pope was elected after I was baptised a Catholic, and I have seen his errors as they unfolded and are still unfolding.
We have so much information at our fingertips these days, through the internet. These include the Baltimore Catechism, writings of early church fathers, the lives of the saints, approved (and yet to be approved) prophecies, various good homilies, good Catholic websites etc, etc.
It is not possible for me to believe that this pope is doing his primary duty, which according to Fr John Hardon, "The Pope’s first responsibility is to nourish the youngest members of Christ’s flock, the children, with the truth that leads to eternal life."

A lot of great stuff in your post as usual Dolours. I also am very confused by Cardinal Burke's silence, but let us remember that Cardinal Burke seems to have gotten almost zero support. At least publicly. Out of 5,000 plus bishops and over 200 Cardinals how many have spoken up? How many have signed the various petitions? Maybe a dozen? Very sad.

At least Cardinal Burke had the guts to stand up and make a noise. That is FAR more than the rest of the hierarchy has done. Even if he does nothing else at least he made many aware that there is a major problem in the Church. If he backs down now I will be disappointed, but I am sure he has good reasons. I understand that numbers don't make a difference when it comes to truth, but there may be things going on we don't know about. In fact I'm sure there are.

I am a believer in the messages given to Pedro Regis. They are as clear as any what is transpiring. Warning us of not following those who apart from the truth.

4597 - Message of Our Lady Queen of Peace, February 17, 2018
Dear children, give Me your hands and I will lead you to My Son Jesus. You are in the world, but you are not of the world. Turn to Him who is your One and True Savior. Turn away from all evil and live turned towards Paradise, for which alone you were created. I know each one of you by name and I have come from Heaven to lead you to holiness. You are living in the time of sorrows and only by the power of prayer will you be victorious. Seek Jesus. He loves you and waits for you with Open Arms. Repent and serve the Lord with joy. The day will come when the Truth of God will be rejected everywhere and My poor children will walk like the blind leading the blind. I am your Sorrowful Mother and I suffer for what comes to you. Do not fold your arms. What you have to do, do not leave for tomorrow. Help Me. The Lord will reward you generously for whatever you do on behalf of My Plans. This is the message I give you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed Me to gather you here once more. I bless you, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Be at peace.

4596 - Message of Our Lady Queen of Peace, February 14, 2018
Dear children, welcome My Son Jesus and His Words that lead you to Eternal Life. In My Son Jesus is your true liberation and salvation. Be obedient. Difficult times will come and those who close themselves to the Lord's Grace will weep and mourn, for they will not stand the weight of the trials. The great and painful battle is yet to come. Many will be drawn into error and embrace what is false. Pray. Only by the force of prayer and seeking strength in the Eucharist will you be overcomers. Do not close your hearts. Do not live far from the path that I have pointed out to you. You have freedom, but do not allow your freedom to distance you from the Lord's Grace. Turn around quickly. This is the message I give you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed Me to gather you here once more. I bless you, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Be at peace

After watching this, I watched an earlier interview with the good Bishop. It must have been posted here before, but I'm posting it again because it's pertinent to our discussion on the schism within our Church.

    SgCatholic,

At the very least, I like to know what I am dealing with more or less when I visit various websites. I wasn't always concerned about this but I learned over time to be. This particular site, NovusOrdoWatch.org ,does a lot of trash talking about the Church imho and since you are already questioning a lot of things I would suggest to you that you should be very careful about visiting websites like these.

I wonder if you think that what ComeSoon! posted from this site as the text for the third secret is accurate? I don't believe that it is. I think it is interesting to talk about the possibility of it being authentic but I really feel that the probability of it being true is very low. This is just one example of how this site appears to be supporting incorrect information.

I think that we are all questioning the various decisions that Pope Francis has made and I don't think that there is anything wrong in doing so but you must realize that it is not good to be continuously discussing how you are not certain about your obedience to the Pope. I hope that you will read the information on the following link that I also posted earlier today, http://catholicism.org/sedevacantism-and-schism.html . Here is the contents of the article for ease of use,

    Sedevacantism and Schism
Jan 21, 2010 Brother André Marie

A recent little talk I gave on the sin of schism — part of my comments on the Chair of Unity Octave — prompted a question from one of my auditors: “Is sedevacantism schism?” I had to reply in the affirmative.

In the last analysis, sedevacantists reject the jurisdiction of the Pope over the universal Church. While their schism is different than that of most schismatics — who reject his authority in principle — they have withdrawn themselves from communion with the Vicar of Christ. Since that is precisely what schism is, sedevacantists are in schism.

For some, the schism could be only material and not formal. I am not qualified to judge. But I can say, and must conclude, that their position is objectively schismatic. This is why we don’t allow sedevacantists into our Third Order.

For those interested, in 1997, I gave a talk on sedevacantism (available here as CD, MP3, or MP4), which can be read as a paper on our site, The Popes and the Modern Crisis. It did not answer every point the sedevacantists bring up, but it hit some of their major arguments.

Three of the biggest problems of sedevacantism are:

    • Its notion of the Church is fundamentally flawed. The Roman Pontiff is the principle of the Church’s visibility. Sedevacantists end up with an invisible Calvinist Church composed of believers spiritually “subject” to illicitly consecrated bishops of questionable validity, giving no adherence to anyone other than themselves, and (in many cases) possessed of mutual hatred for one another as displayed in their puerile pseudo-apostolic diatribes against each other. From a city seated on a hill they have chosen to enter the “church” hidden under a bushel basket.
    • It is neo-gnostic. Sedevacantism is about a decade newer than Vatican II. This means that the great tragedy of the Church’s decapitation was kept a secret for ten years. Every cardinal, bishop, priest, religious, and layman in the world gave adherence to an anti-pope, until someone came along and spotted that the emperor was wearing no clothes. Only, what was obvious to that someone was not obvious to the entire Catholic world. This is gnosticism, not Christianity.
    • It presents an unsolvable dilemma. There is no solution to sedevacantism. Without a functioning hierarchy, the Church will never be able to choose a new Pope. The present hierarchy of the Church is no hierarchy at all to the sedevacantist, but a gathering of non-bishops appointed by anti-popes. Whence, then, comes a valid pope? Some sedevacantists, seeing the obvious problem here, have opted to put on their own conclaves and produce their own anti-popes. This solves the frying-pan problem by leaping into the fire, and makes the whole thing appear as silly as it really is. Other sedevacantists, not satisfied with this solution, frankly admit they have no answer to how we will get a true pope — but it will happen. Like the fellow who couldn’t define pornography, they say they will know an authentic papacy when they see it. And this shows their ultimate folly, pride, and conceit: they have constituted themselves judges of the Supreme Pontiff. Now that they have taken upon themselves this weighty responsibility, they must judge every pretender to the Petrine Throne. But, if a man stepped forward claiming to be Pope — claiming to be the real one who would set things right, because he agrees with everything the sedevacantists say — how will they know he is the one? Signs and wonders? The devil can produce those, and the Magisterium judges authentic miracles from preternatural mischief. And you need a pope for that. The dog is chasing his tail. And whatever constitutes the criteria by which the true pope manifests himself, what if all the sedevacantists don’t agree that this particular candidate is the real Vicar of Christ? Having cast off the monarchy of the pope, they now exercise the “tyranny of the masses” some call democracy. This is Protestantism, not Catholicism.
No disciple of Father Feeney could become a sedevacantist. Why? I will let Father Feeney answer that question with this passage from his Bread of Life:

The gate of the Kingdom of Heaven in beatitude was opened for the first time by the entrance of Jesus. The keys to that gate were put in the hands of Christ’s Vicar on earth when He said to Peter, and his successors: “And I will give to thee the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven.” No matter what we do in the way of justification, we can never enter salvation unless we enter it under the leadership of him who has the keys to that Kingdom.

That flesh and blood Vicar of Jesus Christ is none other than the Pope, our Holy Father, a visible head for Christ’s visible Church. He is a man whom we can point to as the visible Vicar on earth of the visible Christ in eternity. He is as pointable-at now in time as Jesus once was when He walked the streets of Jerusalem, followed by Peter and His Apostles.

It is a defined dogma of the Catholic Church that no one can be saved who is not subject to that flesh and blood Vicar of Jesus, the Roman Pontiff. It is one of the requirements for salvation. Justification is useless for purposes of the Beatific Vision unless submission to Christ’s Vicar has been added to it in essential complement.

Pope Boniface VIII, in 1302, infallibly declared in his bull, Unam Sanctam: “We declare, say, define and pronounce, that it is wholly necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.” A defined dogma can never be changed. It holds for every age; it applies to every generation, until the end of time.

If you do not have a belief in, and submission to, a visible Holy Father and a visible Church, with clear distinguishable marks, you will never get into Heaven.
Yes, I have seen this already and I used a quote from this interview in my post.

PS- We know that God decides who gets into heaven but there are a lot very good points that Brother Andre Marie makes in that article.

Francis Again Refuses to Kneel in Front of Eucharistic Adoration
    https://gloria.tv/article/XM6T4ezpFJMb2JG9UxVff76cE

Vatican News (February 21) published pictures of an Eucharistic Adoration which took place during the ongoing retreat of the Roman Curia in Ariccia near Rome.

The participants of the retreat all kneel in front of the monstrance except Francis who is standing.

Rumours that Francis has knee-problems have proven to be false since he has knelt on several occasions in front of refugees on Holy Thursday or when visiting an Anglican shrine in Uganda in November 2015.[IMG]

This is an excellent article Carol thanks. (y)

Sedevacantism can be very seductive, particularly to those of us who are traditional Catholics. You get all of the smells and bells of the old Mass. You get pure doctrine unadulterated by Modernist poison. You can take all of the problems that the Church is facing and put them in a drawer because...they don't have anything to do with you anymore. No problems, no stress.

The only cost for this "perfection" is rejection of the Pope and schism from the Church. That is all the devil is asking of you. You can have everything you want in a church if you just leave the faith. A clever trick.

I fight very hard against this garbage because I was almost sucked into it and wasted a year of my life studying it when I first got my faith back. I think God let me wallow there for a time so I could warn others of this seductive poison.

The way to Heaven is never through rejecting the Pope.

But in this video the good Bishop does say we are already in a sort of schism.
There's no other way to reconcile the fact that we are supposed to be obedient to the pope, but we are not obeying him in so many things already, because he has strayed away from the Truth.

    SG,
It is true we are in a schism of sorts, but not actual schism, which is rejection of the Pope. Cardinal Burke and Bishop Schneider do not reject the Pope or his authority. They do reject error. The two are not the same.

We do not need to do everything the Pope says to be loyal to the Church and the Pope. We only need to follow licit commands. It is possible for a Pope to never even exercise his office properly or at all.

I know this is a ridiculous example, but imagine if a Pope were elected next year and he only chose to exercise his papal power to make a few changes he wanted and nothing else. So let's say he came out three times during his papacy and gave three "teachings" for the faithful.

The first was to use contraception if their consciences allowed it.

The second was to allow abortions for women who were in extreme poverty and couldn't afford to raise a child.

The third was to announce homosexuality was no longer to be considered a sin.

After he did these three things he died.

The faithful obviously could not follow any of this Pope's "teachings" as they are contrary to the faith. It is possible for a Pope (or a bishop) to never even exercise their authority properly or at all. Pope John Paul I didn't. He died before he could do anything. Yet he still had all of the power and authority of every Pope since Christ.

When Pope Francis preaches that there is a Hell and we need to avoid going there listen to him. If he tells you using contraception is okay in certain circumstances then don't listen to him. It is a sad state when we have to double check what is being taught, but that is the Church we now find ourselves in.

What we are forbidden from doing is saying "On my own authority I proclaim that this man is not Pope and I reject him and all that he teaches." The Church has always reserved to itself the right to make proclamations of that sort.

Watch over the flock, not simply as a duty but gladly

Now I have something to tell your elders: I am an elder myself, and a witness to the sufferings of Christ, and with you I have a share in the glory that is to be revealed. Be the shepherds of the flock of God that is entrusted to you: watch over it, not simply as a duty but gladly, because God wants it; not for sordid money, but because you are eager to do it. Never be a dictator over any group that is put in your charge, but be an example that the whole flock can follow. When the chief shepherd appears, you will be given the crown of unfading glory.

Truth is, I reject all the heresies he is promoting, and we know that there are not just 1 or 2, but many.
With all that has happened since the resignation of pope BXVI, the knowledge of prophecies and messages given, the public claims about the St Gallen's mafia, the Permanent Instruction of the Alta Vendita, the congratulatory messages from Freemasons upon PF's election etc, etc, it is only reasonable to believe that PF is not a shepherd, but a wolf.

    This happens again and again.

It always reminds me of what Archbishop Fulton Sheen prophesied:
“[Satan] will set up a counterchurch which will be the ape of the [Catholic] Church … It will have all the notes and characteristics of the Church, but in reverse and emptied of its divine content.”

We are living in the days of the Apocalypse, the last days of our era. The two great forces – the Mystical Body of Christ and the Mystical Body of the anti-Christ – are beginning to draw battle lines for the catastrophic contest.

The False prophet will have a religion without a cross. A religion without a world to come. A religion to destroy religions. There will be a counterfeit Church.

Christ’s Church the Catholic Church will be one; and the false Prophet will create the other.

The False Church will be worldly, ecumenical, and global. It will be a loose federation of churches and religions, forming some type of global association.

A world parliament of Churches. It will be emptied of all Divine content, it will be the mystical body of the anti-christ. The Mystical Body on earth today will have its Judas Iscariot, and he will be the false prophet. Satan will recruit him from our Bishops.

The Antichrist will not be so called; otherwise he would have no followers. He will not wear red tights, nor vomit sulphur, nor carry a trident nor wave an arrowed tail as Mephistopheles in Faust. This masquerade has helped the Devil convince men that he does not exist. When no man recognizes, the more power he exercises. God has defined Himself as “I am Who am,” and the Devil as “I am who am not.”

Nowhere in Sacred Scripture do we find warrant for the popular myth of the Devil as a buffoon who is dressed like the first “red.” Rather is he described as an angel fallen from heaven, as “the Prince of this world,” whose business it is to tell us that there is no other world. His logic is simple: if there is no heaven there is no hell; if there is no hell, then there is no sin; if there is no sin, then there is no judge, and if there is no judgment then evil is good and good is evil. But above all these descriptions, Our Lord tells us that he will be so much like Himself that he would deceive even the elect–and certainly no devil ever seen in picture books could deceive even the elect. How will he come in this new age to win followers to his religion?

The pre-Communist Russian belief is that he will come disguised as the Great Humanitarian; he will talk peace, prosperity and plenty not as means to lead us to God, but as ends in themselves …

The third temptation in which Satan asked Christ to adore him and all the kingdoms of the world would be His, will become the temptation to have a new religion without a Cross, a liturgy without a world to come, a religion to destroy a religion, or a politics which is a religion–one that renders unto Caesar even the things that are God’s.

In the midst of all his seeming love for humanity and his glib talk of freedom and equality, he will have one great secret which he will tell to no one: he will not believe in God. Because his religion will be brotherhood without the fatherhood of God, he will deceive even the elect. He will set up a counterchurch which will be the ape of the Church, because he, the Devil, is the ape of God. It will have all the notes and characteristics of the Church, but in reverse and emptied of its divine content. It will be a mystical body of the Antichrist that will in all externals resemble the mystical body of Christ …

But the twentieth century will join the counterchurch because it claims to be infallible when its visible head speaks ex cathedra from Moscow on the subject of economics and politics, and as chief shepherd of world communism.

And those "rumours" are in fact clearly correct as can be seen in the following video. Yes, the Holy Father does get on his knees on occasion and only he knows how much he suffers when he does so. Adoration before the Lord requires being in a reasonably relaxed state. Maybe people would prefer that the Pope just remain seated?

It is just very disturbing that thus far PF regularly kneels when washing the feet of unbelievers or at Protestant gatherings or at non-Catholic shrines, but more often than not (by far) chooses not to genuflect after consecration,or at Eucharistic Adoration.
If you will remember, we've had this conversation before on this forum.
Also remember that Cardinal Sarah remarked on Pope JPII forcing his broken body to kneel before the Eucharist. Was that a message for PF?

I repeat: "Yes, the Holy Father does get on his knees on occasion and only he knows how much he suffers when he does so. Adoration before the Lord requires being in a reasonably relaxed state. "

But once people have decided to demonize someone, reason no longer seems to play a part in their comments.
