Yes it is unfortunate that many of the so called conservatives in America have been complicit in the liberal agenda and have done little if anything to fight against it. They are corrupt and full of graft. A good example is the list of politicians not seeking re election. It has many more so called conservatives than liberals on it but that goes with the territory since liberals in principal do not think bowing out of their positions is relevant to their exposures. I was greatly dismayed by how many of them fought so viciously against Donald Trump when they had done little to fight against the Obama administrations actions. I wondered then if it was due to corruption. Now we have our answers to that question. A great house cleaning is happening in DC, it is my hope that once this has happened America's elected representatives can get back to the business of truly representing the people regardless of their leaning politically. We will see.

They are. As well as corrupt and no longer represent the people who put them into office. They would much rather take the minority position in the government so that they can plausibly deny their collusion with and similarity to liberal ideals. They were a real mystery to a great many of the conservative's in America until the election when it became strikingly clear their agenda and corruption.
