It’s more common than we think if we realize the Shriners are their public facade: View attachment 6928 View attachment 6929
Academia is, has been since the 30s, a bastion of Marxist Communists. The rise of alternate media, the awakening of religious/political conservatives and the election of Trump has the entire Global Left united in rage and escalating violence. We have already seen, this past 9 months the Left cobbling together Unions, College "Students", BlackLivesMatter and Anarchists (BLM/Occupy/AntiFa) to promote the Left-Agenda while intimidating, vilifying and silencing the opposition. This sort of tactic is not new and can be found with a casual review of any revolution or societal "take-over" .... it rarely ends well Campus Chaos - Daily Shout Downs http://www.nationalreview.com/corne...y-shout-downs-week-free-speech-charles-murray GOD SAVE ALL HERE!!
Agreed. We took the kids to the Shriner circus about 5 years ago. The one thing that struck me at the time was how angry all the clowns seemed. It was really weird. Afterwards, when we got home I googled the Shriners and was dismayed to discover that they are basically Masons. I felt horrible knowing that I had unwittingly supported their agenda.
This past summer, after finding out that I had numerous Masons in my family background, I approached an orthodox priest (with an interest in the healing ministry) about praying the prayer to break generational bonds associated with freemasonry. The priest agreed and said that he too had prayed it in the past because he had Masonic ancestors as well. I was shocked to discover that it took a WHOLE HOUR of prayer to break all the bonds and curses associated with the masons! It's definitely not child's play. They have their members make some pretty crazy oaths. I had thought that I was going to be in the priest's office for 15-20 minutes at most. I am sooo thankful that he took the time out of his hectic schedule to pray such a lengthy prayer with me!
Or do you mean -- beginning in 2017, but ending in 2029? I have wondered about this also mainly because of the confusion over the beginning of the 100 years.
Now this is pretty strange to see in such a place of general political news....from "The Gateway Pundit": Believe in Miracles: The 100th Year Anniversary of Fatima and Holy Man of Loreto Who Predicted Trump Presidency in 1985 .................(the story of Fatima with news reports and pics of miracle of the sun) (next)... ...... It was a miracle. Today we are witnessing another miracle of light. God did not desert us. On February 18, 2017, First Lady Melania Trump led the audience in the Lord’s Prayer at a rally in Florida. (pic of Melania) The following day Father Giacomo Capoverdi shared a fascinating story about the Hermit of Loreto who predicted the Donald Trump presidency back in the 1980s. The holy man shared a premonition that President Donald Trump would help bring America back to God. The Roman Catholic Man reported: Father Giacomo Capoverdi shared a fascinating story of his encounter with the Hermit of Loreto (the author of the Pieta Prayer Book), at the site of the Holy House of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In this video, Father Capoverdi shares an amazing premonition this Hermit of Loreto had all the way back in the 1980s about Donald J. Trump. Please watch as Father shares this incredible story. And today we have President Donald Trump leading America and the free world. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/201...y-man-loreto-predicted-trump-presidency-1985/
http://www.catholicculture.org/commentary/otn.cfm?ID=1248 The conversion of Russia: maybe not as we expected it By Phil Lawler (bio - articles - email) | Oct 13, 2017 All through the Old Testament and into the New, God surprised his People. We shouldn’t be caught off guard, then, if He still has surprises in store for us today. Elijah encountered God not in wind or the fire or the earthquake, but in the small still voice. [1 Kgs 19:11-13] The Messiah came on the human scene as a mighty warrior but as a defenseless baby. Jesus did not rise to a throne but to a Cross. Time after time, the expectations of the faithful have been confounded. God tells us what to expect, but we put his message into our own tight little categories, and in the process we miss something critical. I’m reminded of this all-too-human weakness today, on the 100th anniversary of the apparitions at Fatima, because I am one of the many, many Catholics who misunderstood Our Lady’s message. I expected that the global struggle against Communism, the great worldwide political battle of my lifetime, would be resolved by some great, epic struggle. It was not. When the Soviet regime fell, it was defeated by the small, still voice of a people who refused to accept the legitimacy of the regime. The Berlin Wall was torn down not by tanks, but by young people in a party atmosphere. The great battle that I expected never came to pass. Or was there a great battle—a spiritual battle—that escaped public notice? There were, after all, all those people praying the Rosary, in accordance with Mary’s wishes… And now we wait for the promised conversion of Russia. If we have learned from experience, we should not be too surprised if that conversion take an unexpected route. The Catholic News Service has just released a short (30-minute) film, Faces among Icons, that reports on a spiritual revival in Russia. It is not the revival that you and I might have predicted. It is taking place most noticeably in the Orthodox Church, for one thing, rather than among Catholics. The relationship between the Orthodox Church and the Russian government is problematic, as it has been so often in the past. But something is stirring. I’m not saying that this is the answer to our prayers. I am saying that it’s worth watching.
I loved the little prophetic video We need to keep praying for Trump and Pence and the cabinet Lots of evil spells being cast on them on the crescent moon each month But our prayers will be more powerful And I can already see much good being done

Image by James Reynolds, used by permission. On the morning of October 11, new ash emissions began from the Shinmoe-dake cone on the large, complex volcano on the north end of Kagoshima Bay. The eruption have been relatively small ash-and-gas plumes that reached less than 1 kilometer (~3,200 feet) over the volcano and spread shards of volcanic glass (aka ash) across the area. These new explosions have promoted the Japanese Meteorological Agency (JMA) to raise the alert status to Level 3 and declare an exclusion zone around the active vent. The plume from the eruption was clearly seen on Terra MODIS image (below) taken on October 11 (Universal time, so October 12 local). The grey plume of ash spreading east (right) from the eruption of Kirishima, seen clearly against the green on Kyushu and blue of the Pacific Ocean. Image taken October 12, 2017 (local) by NASA’s Terra MODIS imager. The eruption at Kirishima has been impressive in the clear weather. Thus far, only ash has been seen erupting from the Shimmoe-dake cone, so there is no evidence that new magma has reached the surface as the ash was likely generated from pulverizing old, cold lava in the lava dome in the crater. A small earthquake swarm started at Kirishima on October 5, leading JMA volcanologists to think that an eruption could be in the cards. Film maker James Reynolds was on site at Kirishima for the eruption on October 12 and got some dramatic drone footage of the eruption (note: all taken from outside the exclusion zone). Two things that really stand out to me in the footage: (1) the volcano’s roar — you can really hear that low, growling sound of the ash emissions from the vent and (2) the pulsing nature of the eruption, as ash and hot volcanic gases issue from the vent. You can also see how fine the ash looks in that has fallen inside the crater, which reminds me of eruptions where mostly old volcanic materials is being pulverized. Some other fumaroles (gas vents) can be seen to the left of vent in the footage as well. The ash quickly loses buoyancy and falls to the ground, showing there isn’t a lot of “oomph” behind the eruption at this point. Looking at images taken October 11 (below), the very active steam emissions in the crater betray a lot of heat under the old lava dome. Now, it is impossible to say where this eruption is going. If new magma is found in the ash, then likely Kirishima is entering another eruptive phase like we saw in 2011, where blasts went on for 9 months. However, if this is merely driven by steam and heat in the crater, then maybe it might be a fleeting moment. If you want to watch the eruption live, there are plenty of webcams pointed at the volcano. Right now (October 12), there isn’t much going on at the volcano. Few other bits of volcano news from elsewhere: We talk about a plume that’s a few hundred meters at Kirishima, but Shiveluch in Kamchatka produced a 10+ kilometer (32,800 feet) plume on October 11. Thanks to its remote location and somewhat common occurrence, eruptions like these at Shiveluch rarely make the news anywhere. Shiveluch Oct. 11th, 2017 Sinabung, Indonesia. Cumbre Vieja on La Palma in the Canary Islands saw its first earthquake swarm in many years, with over 50 earthquakes deep under the island over a 3 day period. The last eruption at Cumbre Vieja was in 1971. Similarly, Oregon’s Mt. Hood has a small swarm started under the White River Valley near the Cascade volcano — a spot where swarms are common and may be linked to faults that run near the volcano. Neither swarm suggests that either volcano is close to an eruption, but rather remind us that even quiet volcanoes can be restless occasionally. Well, well, we're still here...but we might not be tomorrow! Anyway, Brian, back on topic. Yes, this phenomenon has been ongoing for a few years now. As the West drives religion out of their military, depriving men in immediate risk of their lives of the possibility of being shriven or otherwise prepared to encounter their Maker, there have been photos and videos online of Russian priests sprinkling guns, tanks and warplanes with Holy Water-I would greatly fear such men for opponents in battle. There have been numerous recent accounts of the building of truly beautiful churches (how I envy them), replete with lovely icons and the kind of design and colour schemes that immediately put one in mind of the Higher Things. This building has been underway in an economy with few spare resources, has been based apparently on much voluntary work and seemingly by a great amount of enthusiastic young people. There are now reports of Muslim-majority Kazakhstan about to repress religious freedom, a sign of a fear of resurgent Kazakh Christianity.
Russia's history leads me to believe that they would in fact prefer a strong King. Czar, Emperor, Dictator to rule them . The word , 'Slav' is in fact a derivative of the word , 'Slave' and in fact the Russians became slaves to the Northmen who defeated them. They became Orthodox because their Czar ordered them too. I know we in the West prefer Democracies but other peoples do not, that is their choice. This is why they adore Putin he is a modern Czar without wearing a Crown. It reminds me of something Churchill said one time , 'The only thing worse than Democracy is it's alternative'. If the Russians wish to be ruled by Czars its up to them. Looking at the leaders in Europe I am not sure they did not make a good choice. Catholic Prophesy indicates a Great King will come to lead us, this certainly seems to indicate that Democracy will reach an end point.
Padraig, I have to disagree with you, somewhat. Churchill, not for the first time, got it absolutely wrong. Democracy is the worst possible form of government. The Greeks realised this almost immediately after they invented it. We need only look around us to see the evils of democracy, which always ultimately leads to the imposition of Man's basest impulses upon everybody else. From time to time, you might be lucky enough to have a good king (such as Wenceslas) or dictator (such as Franco), but you'll never have a democracy that doesn't drag a nation down, because it is inevitable as a result of the effects of Original Sin, that the great mass of humanity at any one time is corrupt and/or corruptible. This is all far better elucidated in a book written some years ago by a good, orthodox Catholic, Erik Ritter von Kuehnelt-Leddihn: "Liberty or Equality-The Challenge of Our Time". [I have a personal theory that democracy is another derivation of this great Enlightenment lie that everything comes from below and 'evolves' progressively to the top. The Darwinian version of this is just a scientific form of this great lie, which is ultimately an attempt to remove God from the culture. The Catholic Church, quite rightly, has always been an example of hierarchial authority whereby all rightness and order percolates downward from Ultimate Authority. The ongoing collapse of civilisation and recent scientific discoveries all point to the utter wrongheadedness of this attempt to draw blood from stones].
I think I agree with you. Heaven is hierarchical and that has been the human pattern since the beginning. Sadly absolute power in kings and dictators has wrought horrors too. But I do believe our current mania for the rights of some over the rights of others is traceable to the evil root of the enlightenment (which to my mind was the darkening of the human intellect). with a strong belief in Judeo-Christian values and reverence for God as the guiding principle democracy can work. But once you take God out of the equation things devolve as we are seeing in the West. The founders of the American republic knew this and many said as much. Democracies always devolve into despotism according to many philosophers. The most you can get is about 200 years supposedly. Sigh.
Fallen Man cannot aspire to anything better than the least worst form of government. Still, not even Stalin or Mao were as guilty of as many murders as, for example, the democratically-appointed fomenters of abortion in the United States alone. To this casualty list can be added that of the supposedly benign democracies of Western Europe. And it is the allegedly more advanced democracies of the West that are introducing abortion into Third World countries, yet we are expected to believe from the enthusiastically democratic progressives that it was the type of colonisation that stemmed from Columbus that was the malign form. The perils of democracy were very apparent here in Ireland last year when the majority of the population were hoodwinked and manipulated into voting for the abomination and insanity that is so-called 'same-sex marriage'. This same democracy is now attempting to manipulate the populace to introduce the even greater abomination of abortion. Please God, they will not succeed, but these devils in human flesh are getting closer to their objective and it is not the merits of democracy that delays them but the (declining) moral capital of a once Catholic country. We must not forget that, as you rightly highlight, the greatness of a now declining America was due to its being founded not as a democracy, but as a republic. Had she become a pure democracy, Hillary Clinton would now be president. Unfortunately, too much democracy and 'equality' has come to pollute the once-great USA. Think of democracy as mob-rule. Those who gain the power are therefore those who can best manipulate the mob, which tends to be those who are the masters of propaganda. Trump defeated these forces, this time, but can it be maintained?
Interesting stuff. However the state of the world requires firm and authoritative moral leadership. Until 2013 the prime public world moral leader was Pope Benedict xvi whose orthodoxy on the catholic faith was unquestioned and the position of the Catholic Church on moral questions clearly articulated. Over the past four years that has changed to a situation where the undisputed orthodoxy and political neutrality of papal leadership has disappeared. A moral abyss has been opened as catholic truths are assaulted by the very guardians entrusted with defending them.
