Lately in prayer the words "run from sin" seem to be coming into my mind for some reason. Anyone else experiencing something similar?

I am going to make a big effort in this regard as I too feel called to go to a deeper level but will need many graces to do so.

I am going to ask our Lady to help me surrender all.

Sanctus, I felt these words so strongly last Sunday during Mass that I visibly wept, not only for myself but for the whole world that is now steeped in darkness.
Lord, may your just Mercy encompass the world before your people and may they see your light before the might of your justice takes hold. Mary our General in this fight please pray for our strength and perseverance to hold fast to your son and to run from sin.

I have felt the same, Mary's Child. Something is telling me to make an effort to be rid of all the sinful elements in my life and also to run from evil-doers.

    AfD is gaining ground.

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/merkel-heads-german-poll-win-hard-afd-first-020926172.html

Berlin (AFP) - Chancellor Angela Merkel clinched a fourth term in Germany's election Sunday, but her victory was clouded by the entry into parliament of the hard-right AfD in the best showing for a nationalist force since World War II.

Merkel, who after 12 years in power held a double-digit lead for most of the campaign, scored around 33 percent of the vote with her conservative Christian Union (CDU/CSU) bloc, according to preliminary results. It was their worst score since 1949.

Related SearchesAfd German PartyAfd Party GermanyGerman Elections PollsGerman Elections For Chancellor
Its nearest rivals, the Social Democrats and their candidate Martin Schulz, came in a distant second, with a post-war record low of 21 percent.

But in a bombshell for the German establishment, the anti-Islam, anti-immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD) captured around 13 percent, catapulting it to become the country's third biggest political force.

Commentators called the AfD's strong performance a "watershed moment" in the history of the German republic. The top-selling Bild daily spoke of a "political earthquake".

AfD supporters gathered at a Berlin club, cheering as public television reported the outcome, many joining in a chorus of the German national anthem.

Hundreds of protesters rallied outside, shouting "Nazis out!" while smaller AfD demonstrations were held in other cities across the country.

The four-year-old nationalist party with links to the far-right French National Front and Britain's UKIP has been shunned by Germany's mainstream but was able to build on particularly strong support in ex-communist eastern Germany.

It is now headed for the opposition benches of the Bundestag lower house, dramatically boosting its visibility and state financing.

Alarmed by the prospect of what Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel branded "real Nazis" entering parliament, the candidates had used their final days of campaigning to implore voters to reject the populists.

Turnout was markedly higher than four years ago, up to around 76 percent from 71.5 percent.

French President Emmanuel Macron was among the first to congratulate Merkel, promising that the two key European partners would keep up their "essential cooperation".

    - 'Big new challenge' -

Merkel admitted that she had fallen far short of the 40-percent goal her party set.

"There's a big new challenge for us, and that is the entry of the AfD in the Bundestag," said Merkel, adding: "We want to win back AfD voters."

Germans elected a splintered parliament, reflecting a nation torn between a relatively high degree of satisfaction with Merkel and a desire for change after more than a decade of her leadership.

Another three parties cleared the five-percent hurdle to be represented in parliament: the liberal Free Democrats at around 10 percent and the anti-capitalist Left and ecologist Greens, both at about nine percent.

As Merkel failed to secure a ruling majority on her own and with the dejected SPD ruling out another right-left "grand coalition" with her, the process of forming a viable government was shaping up to be a thorny, months-long process.

Merkel, 63, often called the most powerful woman on the global stage, ran on her record as a steady pair of hands in a turbulent world, warning voters not to indulge in "experiments".

Pundits said Merkel's reassuring message of stability and prosperity resonated in greying Germany, where more than half of the 61 million voters are aged 52 or older.

Her popularity had largely recovered from the influx since 2015 of more than one million mostly Muslim migrants and refugees, half of them from war-torn Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.

    - Breaking taboos -

But the AfD was able to capitalise on anger over the asylum issue during what was criticised as a largely lacklustre campaign bereft of real clashes among the main contenders.

The party has made breaking taboos its trademark.

Top AfD candidate Alexander Gauland has called for Germans to shed their guilt over two world wars and the Holocaust and to take pride in their veterans.

He has also suggested that Germany's integration commissioner Aydan Ozoguz, who has Turkish roots, should be "disposed of in Anatolia".

    - Merkel bound for 'Jamaica'? -

The SPD said its catastrophic result would lead it to seek a stint in opposition to rekindle its fighting spirit.

"This is a difficult and bitter day for German social democracy," a grim-faced Schulz, a former European Parliament chief, told reporters, adding that he hoped to remain party leader.

This would leave Merkel in need of new coalition partners.

If the SPD sticks to its refusal to play ball, mathematically the most likely scenario would be a link-up with the pro-business Free Democrats, who staged a comeback after crashing out of parliament four years ago, and the left-leaning Greens.

That so-called "Jamaica" coalition, based on the party colours and the Caribbean nation's flag, would be a risky proposition, given the differences between the parties on issues ranging from climate policy to migration issues.

Schulz, 61, struggled to gain traction with his calls for a more socially just Germany at a time when the economy is humming and employment is at a record low.

Meanwhile Merkel faced accusations from within her conservative camp that she had left its "right flank exposed" to the AfD's challenge with her centrist stance on issues such as border policy.

"This is competition for the Union and the conservative spectrum in general," said political scientist Lothar Probst of the University of Bremen of the AfD.

"A very difficult period is beginning for the chancellor."

This is a disastrous result for Merkel. Any self-respecting politician would resign in these circumstances, however she will cling on to power at any cost in order to fulfill her agenda.

Merkel's father was a Protestant pastor, but this must be qualified by the fact that he was also a very enthusiastic communist. Merkel herself was very successful in the communist system of East Germany. It would not surprise me if she is a 'mole' planted by the East German communists in one of their last defiant attempts to undermine West Germany and it is significant that the biggest rejection of Merkel is within the eastern part of the country.

Merkel has unilaterally attempted to destroy the west with her invitation to the Mohammedan invasion. I have read that prior to this invitation, Merkel and Obama cut aid to the refugee camps in the Middle East, which resulted in a halving of calories of food supplied to the refugees and an imminent famine (if anyone can independently confirm that, it would be helpful-I read it in a recent article in Taki online magazine). Merkel has also opportunistically hamstrung the German energy industry with her almost overnight and unconsulted decision to abandon Germany's well-established nuclear industry.

This result, combined with Brexit coming down the tracks, greatly weakens Merkel and should embolden Poland, Slovakia and others to resist her attempts to impose her Mohammedan invasion upon them. This will further exacerbate the costs and crimes of the Mohammedan influx within Germany itself, further ruining her prospects.

It is also good to see the collapse of the socialists.

My english is not good enough to explain the situation in Germany in the way I would like to do.

What you said about the cut of aid in refugee camps , I have also read (in the german online magazin "The Spiegel"). In there it was written that the UN criticised many countries because they didn´t give the amount of money they guaranteed. This was in april 2015. As a result there wasn´t enough food in the refugee camps and so they had no other choice than to head to Europe. In this context you can say that the arrival of over 1.5 million muslims in europe especially in germany was predictable.

I can´t say if this belongs to a secrect agenda of chancellor Merkel.

    Concerning the elections in germany:
Until now the AFD is not a radical party. A few members are so maybe. But not the majority.
However the AFD is the ONLY party which is against abortion and which want to give the traditional family (man, woman, children) a greater meaning than other relationships like homosexuals. Also they want to restrict the immigration of muslims.
Many conservative people say that what the AFD stands for is the same that the CDU (means Christian Democratic Union the party of chancellor Merkel) wanted before 10-15 years.

Your English is not too bad, at all. Whether or not my suspicions of Merkel are with or without foundation, she is considered to be a very powerful and influential politician in international terms. I can't see her being unable to influence both her own and other countries to increase donations to the refugee camps. The boats were already coming over and there would have been few who would have objected to proposals to feed starving refugees, particularly if it was famine conditions that were driving the flight of the refugees.

Merkel is either mad, or bad. My suspicion is the latter. I suspect that she manipulated the refugee crisis, with the intention of destabilising Germany. It is her motives that escape me. Yet, this seems to be the intention of many liberals; they seem to desire the deconstruction of Christian-derived civilisation, even at the risk of seceeding it to an alternative one that would be even more intolerant of many of their sins and perversions. Maybe they are both mad and bad.

  16. Perhaps the next date to watch for should be Nov. 7! Remember that Satan was told that he would be given 100 years to try to corrupt the faithful...and "after that no more". Of course Satan needed a power of a material/human mechanism/ideology of atheistic materialism to attempt this goal....IOW a means. That came with the triumph of the Russian revolution to begin the spread of lies and control for Satan's purpose.

Nov. 7, 1917 | Russian Government Overthrown in Bolshevik Revolution

On Nov. 7, 1917, Russia’s Bolshevik Revolution took place as forces led by Vladimir Ilyich Lenin overthrew the provisional government of Alexander Kerensky.

This then could be interpreted as the time of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the crushing of Satan's head....from that time on, "no more" Satan. He's gone along with his influence. Only those who have committed to him and have begun his works everywhere as his minions will be left to carry on without his influence any longer....their "spiritual" head of influence for evil is gone. Thus will begin the frenzied chaos, looking for a non-spiritual head/worldly head for leadership and that will set the scene for the human AC to arrive. This is also the triumph of the efforts of those who have helped "spread the effects of grace of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart over all of humanity". The "effects" of that grace are to blind Satan everywhere. And those who have followed him and carry onward will be blinded by the Light of her Immaculate Heart and confounded, confused, crazed until their end. The beginning of the end. Many have been trained for a very long time by Satan himself but then they will be on their own....their choice! Watch and pray.

etoa, Thank you for posting this. I think that the next date to watch for is possibly October 13th and then November 7th. Of course, anything can happen at any time.

    Pray, hope and don't worry.

I read something from Mystic Post about Fr. Malachi Martin, who read the Third Secret of Fatima, saying that it would all be accomplished by or at least sometime in November of this year. I supppose he meant the end of the 100 years given to the evil one to try to ruin the Church and also the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart. Seems a lot will need to happen and quickly. Does anyone know of this quote by Fr. Martin or have any other pertinent info...?

  19. I was speaking for a so far not mentioned date for something not regularly discussed as dates go... more like the Sept. 23rd date wasn't specifically watched for until the date got closer and the experts were able to present more info via internet media. I believe that the very year of 2017 with its 100 year Fatima anniversary has had most already watching each of the apparition 13th dates, as well for its special indulgence and most have had this expectation now for years. I'm not sure if a specific prophecy has been made for this particular Oct. 13 th.....only a date that reminds of what went before with its 100 year climax. That spinning sun has been witnessed for years in actual occurrence already at various worldwide sites.

Thank you for permitting me to elaborate on my thought re: more obscure dates.

We have been watching dates for years now, since LTTW there have been at least a half dozen, watch this date periods. I'm kind of interested in 10/13, but after that passes with nothing, and it will, i say we stop watching dates
