Argentine Bishop Marcelo Sánchez Sorondo, head of the Vatican's Academy of Sciences, said that if President Donald Trump does in fact take the United States out of the Paris deal on climate change, signed in Dec. 2015, “it would be a disaster for everyone" and also a "slap in the face" for the Vatican too.

Good to know the Vatican has received a bloody nose from D Trump.

Just to make it clear I am a global warming sceptic (pseudo science).

Does anyone know if that is a sin?

(Note - tongue firmly in cheek:whistle:)

If Vatican would read the details of the Paris deal, they would see that it is full of devils.

This Paris climate deal is just another element in the relentless pursuit of a world government. Global warming due to CO2 caused by humans is 100% BS in my opinion. CO2 is a required element and vital to plant life. Photosynthesis converts CO2 to oxygen in all plant life. Give a plant more CO2 and it will grow bigger and faster. Trying to make this trace element a pollution is total nonsense.

These elite, the ones that really understand what the globalist plan is and are making it happen are either satanic or very strongly influenced that way. Many others are just useful idiots and not fully understanding the extent of evil they are part of. We are rapidly heading toward a communistic/socialist/totalitarian government under the guise of uniting to help each other and the planet. God is gone. There is a massively scaled psych op going on to bring the masses in line. For the most part it is working really well especially with 'do gooder' liberal types both middle aged and especially the young teen to adult age. The elite persist patiently until the young liberals dominate the landscape, then their plan can't be stopped since the ignorant will support it fully.

Some other elements are...... The world Bank striving for an elite controlled world digital currency, The world health organization, The United Nations, The International Court of Justice, The World Trade Organization, The International Energy Agency, The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change....etc..

National sovereignty is becoming a thing of the past. Vote who you want to it won't matter. Leaders of Countries will be nothing more than managers being told what to do by the elitist board of directors. And who is or will be in charge of the board of directors? Well it sure isn't Jesus, I think we all know who that will be for a time anyway.

Not all these agencies are satanic but as was once stated... power corrupts and ultimate power corrupts absolutely.

Even the Vatican is obviously not outside this worldly influence. But we've got Jesus and His mother. We need nothing else if we trust in them and strive to follow God's will.

Ahh the poor old NWO Catholics are upset with Trump again!!!

    U.S. Bishops
Bishop Oscar Cantú of Las Cruces, who is the chairman of the USCCB committee on international justice and peace issued the following statement: “The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), along with Pope Francis and the entire Catholic Church, have consistently upheld the Paris agreement as an important international mechanism to promote environmental stewardship and encourage climate change mitigation. The President’s decision not to honor the U.S. commitment to the Paris agreement is deeply troubling.

    Pontifical Academy of Sciences.
Bishop Marcelo Sánchez Sorondo referred to President Trump’s proposed actions as a “disaster and “a slap in the face.” Responding to a question about the church’s relationship with science, Bishop Sorondo noted that pretending that the world can not continue without reliance on carbon and oil “is like saying that the earth is not round.” He also noted that this dramatic reversal is a result of relying on presidential decrees to combat climate change.

    Catholic Relief Services
Bill O’Keefe “We must hear the cry of the poor. Withdrawing from Paris and cutting foreign assistance is a double whammy to millions around the world. Without American leadership—imperfect as it is—problems fester, people suffer, and in the end we too feel the effects of instability, forced migration, and conflict,” O’Keefe said.

    Franciscan Action Network.
The announcement by President Trump to pull the United States out of the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement is a decision with “catastrophic consequences for the earth and all of its living creatures'.

University of Notre Dame department of Theology
    J. Matthew Ashley, associate professor of theology and chair of Notre Dame's Department of Theology, emailed a statement in anticipation of today’s decision yesterday: “Responding aggressively and proactively to climate change is a core principle of Pope Francis's encyclical, “Laudato Si,’” not only because of its devastating impact on natural ecosystems, but also because it causes disproportionate suffering for the poor, who do not have the financial resources to avoid or mitigate its effects.

    Global Catholic Climate Movement
Tomás Insua, Executive Director of the Global Catholic Climate Movement, issued the following statement: “Trump's withdrawal from the Paris Agreement is a backward and immoral action. Catholics are saddened and outraged that Trump is not listening to Pope Francis after their meeting last week. Still, the world will continue to accelerate climate action, despite the White House’s retrograde stance.

    Catholic Climate Change
Leaders from eleven of Catholic organizations have signed a letter that expresses “deep disappointment” over President Trump’s decision to withdraw the United States from the Paris Agreement and cease American contributions to the U.N. Green Climate Fund that will help poorer nations address climate change. The letter, organized by Catholic Climate Covenant, follows a statement today from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops urging President Trump to “honor the Paris Agreement” and the bishops' repeated support for the Green Climate Fund.

I am off to have a nice glass of wine so Cheers to Donald Trump!!

well they haven't really changed except that science has decided somehow that they now have a 'good quantitative understanding of our climate machine and what determines its course;.

Canada's land mass absorbs more than it even produces!

"A conservative estimate of Canada’s existing carbon-absorption capacity, based on land area and the global carbon-absorption average, indicates that Canada could already be absorbing 20 to 30 per cent more CO2 than we emit. Using the same calculation, the “Big Four” polluters of China, the U.S., the European Union, and India, which together are responsible for a whopping 60 per cent of global CO2 emissions, release 10 times more CO2 than their combined land area absorbs. Canada doesn’t seem very dirty now, do we?"

We don't even need to have a carbon tax or be involved but the elite have other ideas of course

    Don_D ¡Viva Cristo Rey!

You guys simply don't understand, the science is settled! ;)

More like, the climate models we chose to use which support our hypothesis are settled. We simply discarded the rest because it said something entirely different. Look over HERE!

In the US the commerce department study cited 1 million job losses in industry and manufacturing and monthly power price increases of 20% on average per household by 2035 as a result of the accord. Poor households will be hit hardest by this of course.

It's quite telling that all the loudest voices in this supposed outrage are the ones who stand to gain the most via subsidies and carbon credit exchanges.

I think Trump will come back to the table but it will be to renegotiate a deal in the best interests of the US only. This could take years.

It was patently obvious to anyone watching the discussions at the Vatican's climate change conference (I posted the Youtube links at the time) that Archbishop Sorondo was way out of his depth. I cringed to see a Prince of the Church being patronised by the Academy's atheist members and the likes of invited "experts" like Paul Erhlich. Other than being the stooge who hosted them, the Archbishop's contribution could be summed up with the query about how their conclusions would benefit Buenos Aires. Their treatment of him was akin to an addled old uncle the family feels obliged to invite to the wedding in the hope that he'll remember them in his will.

One person said something along the lines that either mankind's contribution amounts to about 20% of CO2 emissions or that CO2 emissions contribute to about 20% of climate change (I can't remember which). Nobody contradicted that statement; they just waffled on. I think that was the last day of the conference which finished with the Vatican treating the participants to lunch on Ash Wednesday.

I'm undecided about man made global warming or climate change or whatever they're calling it these days. It might be true and it might not but I'm sceptical of anything being pushed down our throats by the Paul Erhlichs of this world. I'm not impressed with the way our Church leaders have prioritised it over the wholesale slaughter of the innocent unborn promoted by the population controllers hosted by the Vatican at that conference. Abortion is a sin which cries out to Heaven for vengeance. Man made climate change is a disputed science. If there were any believing Catholics at that conference, there was no evidence of it in the videos I watched.

Sadly, the Vatican as every center of Power/$$$ is also a target of satan and human weakness and corruption. It has always been so but can anyone prove NOW is not worse?? Yes! It was bad pre-Reformation but the Planet did not have billions of people then with instant, worldwide, communications or Madmen/Imams with Nukes or ... you fill in the blank ..........??? Considering the Hijacking of Vatican II (Marxist Infiltration), manifest homosexual/$$$ Church Scandals ... ongoing for decades!!! .... How many Vatican/Diocese Prelates are Marxist/Gay/Mother Earth Cultists? ....or how many are being blackmailed for sex/$$$ scandals ... or...!!!???
Around 1935, The Lord told St Faustina to promote The Divine Mercy Message & Image. Is it Time yet to spend less time on the division and confusion spread by overfed prelates and more Time With Jesus ... and basics of Christian Principles? ...... Eh!!!???

    GOD SAVE ALL HERE!!
