If I can find the similar quote that I am thinking of from an Art Bell interview I will post it here, the quote I am thinking of does not make specific mention of November 2017 but may point to a general timeframe of before 2018. In my opinion, I don't like this particular quote very much because I think most people will interpret "everything" to be world-wide disaster (oceans will flood whole areas of the earth, and that from one moment to the next millions of people will perish) before November 2017. Maybe some mention of turning back to God, reciting the rosary and possibly petitioning the Holy Father to consecrate Russia would have been good additions to this article. I do believe that we are on the verge of something "big" but I don't believe the everything will happen by November 2017, do you?
Yes I think this is an erroneous date! I am very familiar with Fr. Martin's interviews, as are others here, and if he ever mentioned an exact date like that I would definitely have made note of it. I think whoever wrote that is taking liberties they shouldn't with an interview he made in the late 1990's when he alluded to things happening "20 years away", most probably referring to the 100 year anniversary of Fatima. I think he was just making a supposition there, as we all do, about the 100 year anniversary. I do not think he was privy to any dates except 1960, but that is a supposition on my part. Whoever posted the original information on Mysticpost should retract it or provide proof. This is how rumors get started.
Praetorian, Every time I try to find that interview when Father Martin states "20 years away" as you say, I cannot. If you could post it here and point me to the correct # of mins. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you as always. I do believe that the "trick" behind watching this all unfold, so to speak, is to try and keep a level head and to continue to follow the advice the Blessed Mother has given us. Only God knows the timing and what exactly will happen, we were told to keep the commandments and to PRAY THE ROSARY.
I just spent a good deal of time looking for it and couldn't find it either Carol I wanted to quote him exactly. It was in an Art Bell interview. I believe it was the 1997 or 1998 one. I just skimmed through the 1998 one and couldn't find it.

I was listening to Father Martin's last interview with Art Bell also from 1998, in it a caller asks when the horrendous part of the 3rd secret would happen. The caller states that he is 37yrs old and asks if it will happen when he is 45yrs old, IOW, 8 years later in 2006 and Father Martin replies, "Yes". Go to around the 1:25:00 mark . Father Martin is clear that he dos not know for certain here, he says he thinks. So, I wonder if heaven gave a specific timeframe, I doubt it. I think we have this supposed sign of the WCWTS to go by right now and some other hints that we are in the end times. I took my guess on when I think the 3Daysof Darkness might occur earlier on this thread but that, as I stated, is based on many if's. I read your perspective also and you may be correct too, more of a slow process. Heaven help us all, keep praying the rosary and remember that whatever happens has been written in the bible for over almost 2000 years. Yes, I don't think Fr. Martin knew an exact date. As you pointed out, in the interview above when a caller asked him to make a "guess" it was wrong gives validity to this idea. He probably was making an educated guess knowing the types of prophecies we know.
Many approved prophecies quoted by Desmond Birch in his (excellent) book, 'Trial, Tribulation and Triumph' speak of civil wars in Europe, starting in France and ultimately ushering in the era of peace. In view of the fact that among the most popular French Presidential candidates there is one from the extreme left and one from the far right, close results could result in civil unrest by the losing side and the fulfillment of those (many) prophecies. I am looking carefully at France at the moment and, if it does happen, the unrest is prophesied to spread to Italy and England with Spain (presumably because of its fairly recent memories of the horrors of civil war) remaining relatively calm throughout.

I personally have absolutely no doubt that Russia will meddle in any situation in which it feels that it has a stake in the outcome and where it is able to do so, in any way that it can. The constant false news provided by Russia Today and Sputnik is intended to soften attitudes to Putin's murderous and corrupt dictatorship and I believe that they will ultimately attack a weakened Europe at the first opportunity.

le Pen is absolutely touting the Russian line, as Trump did, the only question is did they know this or did they get duped by people around them. Right now we don't know yet but we will. I can't believe after all this she is as popular as she is. Hopefully the French will see what has been going on--the information is out there for anyone who wants to see it, but the Russians have paid people in every media and and social media outlet to keep pushing the things that Putin wants Europeans and Americans to think.
I should have listened to this entire interview 6months or so ago because at around the 2:10:00 mark Father Martin states that a comet is not part of the chastisement discussed in the 3rd secret. So I wonder what causes the intense heat, volcanoes erupting or solar flares? I know that he stated to look up and we would know when things would be happening so maybe he was in fact referring to the Woman Clothed with the Sun sign? I was originally turned off by the length of this interview but if you haven't listened to it I suggest that you do. He also states that Sister Lucy said that the 3rd secret is chapters 12 to 17 of the Book of Revelation but I also read what Praetorian posted about it being chapters 8 to 13. So who knows.

Yes in this interview Fr. Martin mistakenly says that Sister Lucy said the Third Secret is in Chapters 12-17 of the Book of Revelation, but he was older at this point and speaking off the cuff. The other sources clearly state she mentioned chapters 8-13 of the Book of Revelation. No one knows for sure, but I wonder if there are going to be volcanoes going off and heat etc. maybe it will be caused by an axial tilt similar to the one Sister Lucy mentioned in her memoir. Possibly like ones that may have occurred in the past. They have found Woolly Mammoths that were flash frozen so fast the green vegetation in their stomachs was still undigested. Entire sections of foliage (I think in South America) have also been found flash-frozen. When he said look to the skies, I think Fr. Martin was referring to a great sign in the heavens. I think he mentioned something Marian as some point. It could be Septembers astronomical alignment, but I think he meant something more supernatural that everyone would observe and scientists would try to explain away. These are just my guesses off of what he has mentioned. It is very possible I am wrong.
I found this video quite interesting, though I didn't finish it. Some parts are badly edited or purely sensationalistic but there are others that are quite interesting. The primary idea is that the most important part of the chastisement to come is of the spiritual order and it has to do with the Church. Again, this is the thesis that is being proposed by several recently published books in Italy and Spain for the 100th anniversary of Fatima, based on a long trail of statement from many different vatican officials since the sixties, people that were close to the secret like Cardinal Bea or Fr. Malachi Martin. I am not certain about the freezing part, maybe that is the part that no one wants to talk about? I have wondered if many assumed that they would be able to look up and see the Woman Clothed with the Sun sign, that is what I would have assumed or maybe something supernatural will occur to make it more visible in certain parts of the world. I realize that it will only be visible I believe over the Middle East and Europe. I usually set my location to Jerusalem when I am looking for these things in Stellarium, so I know the sign is visible from there but probably not with the naked eye.
What seems certain from prophecy is the first wave of tribulations are man made. The second tribulations, much worse, will be from heaven. This is why it is best not to dwell on this, as it takes away from the interior peace that God wants us to live in. Worrying about any of this will not add one bit of comfort and will add unnecessary anxiety, which the devil can feed off of.
