I believe Padraig he is listening to his Generals and soldiers in the know, someone on here said the same yesterday. He is being very cautious about the agencies he is dealing more with those who where on the ground and know what's what the lay of land and what they witnessed and know what is true.

I think we're seeing how they plan to take down Trump. If the major media runs with this it could look very bad for him, possibly causing his resignation or impeachment.

The President must get Congressional approval before attacking Syria-big mistake if he does not!

What will we get for bombing Syria besides more debt and a possible long term conflict? Obama needs Congressional approval.

Assad didn't do this and if you think he did you are swallowing the kool-aid just like Trump did. Pray this doesn't get bigger.

  10. I think people are reading too many conspiracy novels whereas:

National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster's influence grew this week with President Donald Trump reportedly launching his airstrikes on Syria following deep consultations with the Army lieutenant general.

In McMaster's report on Thursday night about the airstrikes, the lieutenant general said the National Security Council had met on Wednesday to discuss three options with Trump, who asked the team to concentrate on two options.

On Thursday, the president held a briefing with his team, continuing what Secretary of State Rex Tillerson described as a "very deliberative process," and then decided to proceed to Thursday night's Tomahawk missile strikes.

"There was a thorough examination of a wide range of options, and I think the president made the correct choice and made the correct decision," said Tillerson.

This has of course rattled the "America first", rather isolationist type Pro-Trumpers, but on the topic of chemically destroying little children and women I doubt if too many of them are protesting at their own child-destruction mills in "America"!

When such war crimes (and accepted as such as well by the mostly inept UN) are allowed to continue without some meaningful attention given to them....rather than the usually parroted "this is unacceptable" routine... which only serves to make the entire world a deadlier place to live for all....then there isn't much "conscience of the world" left. Either Trump was truly effected and wished to make answer that original "red line" or he wasn't. I would like to think that America took on its original responsibility and made people stop and at least think about such horror.

‘FALSE FLAG’ — Ron Paul Says Syrian Chemical Attack ‘Makes No Sense’

    By Christian Datoc

Ron Paul claimed on Wednesday’s broadcast of “The Liberty Report” that all signs point toward Tuesday’s chemical attack in Syria being a false flag operation.

“Before this episode of possible gas exposure and who did what, things were going along reasonably well for the conditions,” the former Texas congressman stated. “Trump said let the Syrians decide who should run their country, and peace talks were making out, and Al Qaeda and ISIS were on the run.”

“It looks like, maybe, somebody didn’t like that so there had to be an episode, and the blame now is we can’t let that happen because it looks like it might benefit Assad.”

“It’s not so easy though is it? What happened four years ago in 2013, you know, this whole thing about crossing the red line?” he posed. “Ever since then, the neocons have been yelling and screaming, a part of the administration has been yelling and screaming about Assad using poison gas.”

“It was never proven in fact,” agreed Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity executive director Daniel McAdams. “U.N. official Carla Del Ponte said it was most likely done by the rebels.”

It makes no sense, even if you were totally separate from this and take no sides of this and you were just an analyst, it doesn’t make sense for Assad under these conditions to all of the sudden use poison gasses,” Paul continued. “I think it’s zero chance that he would have done this deliberately.”

    Watch:
Back in January, Paul said in an interview with The Daily Caller that false flag attacks could be used by both the so-called American “deep state” and foreign actors to draw the Trump administration into foreign engagements.

“All we need is a false flag and an accident and everybody will be for teaching them a lesson,” he told TheDC’s Alex Pfeiffer. “You know the deep state is very very powerful and they have a lot of control.”

“I think there’s the shadow government, the military-industrial complex, the CIA, and all the things that can be done because they just melt away and they do exactly what the establishment says.”

  13. WASHINGTON (AFP) - The Syrian regime may have had help conducting a chemical strike in Syria, US officials said Friday (April 7), but they stopped short of accusing Moscow of complicity.

"We suspect that they had help" in Tuesday's attack on a rebel-held town on Tuesday (April 4) widely blamed on the Damascus regime, a US senior official told reporters.

"At a minimum, the Russians failed to rein in the Syrian regime activity," the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The Pentagon says the base was used by the plane that launched the attack, and that it was known historically to have been a chemical weapons facility.

A second senior military official described how Russian personnel were closely enmeshed in the day-to-day operations at Shayrat, although he could not say if the Russians knew for sure that the Syrian jet that unleashed the attack was carrying a chemical payload.

The Russians "would have some type of information of any flight operation going out of that airfield on a daily basis," the official said.

US officials also said a small Russian or Syrian drone had been spotted surveilling a hospital that was subsequently destroyed after the initial chemical attack.

"We don't know who struck that," the first official said. "But the fact that somebody would strike the hospital, potentially to hide the evidence of a chemical attack... is a question that we are very interested in."

Perhaps Mr. Putin's gang got a little taste of what the Ukrainians (and surrounding region of formerly controlled Soviet satellites) felt when they were "surprised" by his troops' operations there!

Trump Lobs Missles At Syria On 100-Year WWI Anniversary
One of the reasons that I voted for Donald Trump is because he said he was an America First isolationist. Hillary Clinton was an absolute nightmare that was sure to start a war with Russia. And we all know that ISIS was a creation of the Left to try to take down President Assad in the form of "freedom fighters."

Donald Trump's stance against intervention in Syria was a major campaign promise that made me want to vote for him. For The Donald to do a complete 180 turn and intervene in this fashion is a huge disappointment for me and most of his base.

Also, I have to ask, what in the world does President Assad get from gassing his own people? This lie wasn't believed the first time they tried to pass it along. Why believe it the second time? This entire mess reeks of a false flag operation. Perhaps I'm wrong about something. But I believe that Trump is getting played by warhawks. That's my opinion today. It could change tomorrow.

However, even Syria Girl has been stating that the chemical weapon attack is a false flag:

If it is true that President Assad gassed his own people, then answer me this: why did he choose that particular target of people? Why did he choose that pocket of people to gas to death? Am I to believe that Assad is a madman who happens to run a country and enjoys randomly gassing his own citizens?

Am I to really believe that Donald Trump saw pictures of dead kids on TV, and he decided to suddenly toy with WWIII? I like how Ann Coulter summed it up:
Trump campaigned on not getting involved in Mideast. Said it always helps our enemies & creates more refugees. Then he saw a picture on TV.

What a turnaround. What a mess. In 2013, Trump said many times that he didn't want the US to go into Syria. Here are quite a few instances of this on Twitter, which I'm sure you'll see repeated in the news in the weeks to come:

    June 16, 2013
We should stay the hell out of Syria, the 'rebels' are just as bad as the current regime. WHAT WILL WE GET FOR OUR LIVES AND $ BILLIONS?ZERO- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 28, 2013
Remember, all these ‘freedom fighters’ in Syria want to fly planes into our buildings.- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 29, 2013
Let the Arab League take care of Syria. Why are these rich Arab countries not paying us for the tremendous cost of such an attack?- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 29, 2013
What will we get for bombing Syria besides more debt and a possible long term conflict? Obama needs Congressional approval.- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) Sept. 5, 2013
AGAIN, TO OUR VERY FOOLISH LEADER, DO NOT ATTACK SYRIA - IF YOU DO MANY VERY BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN & FROM THAT FIGHT THE U.S. GETS NOTHING!- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) Sept. 5, 2013
Russia is sending a fleet of ships to the Mediterranean. Obama’s war in Syria has the potential to widen into a worldwide conflict.- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) Sept. 6, 2013
Many of the Syrian rebels are radical jihadi Islamists who are murdering Christians. Why would we ever fight with them?- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) Sept. 7, 2013
President Obama, do not attack Syria. There is no upside and tremendous downside. Save your 'powder' for another (and more important) day!- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) Sept. 9, 2013
Don't attack Syria - an attack that will bring nothing but trouble for the U.S. Focus on making our country strong and great again!- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) Sept. 11, 2013
Obama must now start focusing on OUR COUNTRY, jobs, healthcare and all of our many problems. Forget Syria and make America great again!- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) Sept. 13, 2013
We should stop talking, stay out of Syria and other countries that hate us, rebuild our own country and make it strong and great again-USA!- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) Sept. 12, 2014
The so-called ‘moderate’ Syrian rebels pledged their allegiance to ISIS after Obama’s address. We should not be arming them!- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump)

I would not be surprised if the Deep State--which includes the CIA and others--have been pushing Trump's close confidants out (such as Bannon), and replacing them with Neocons and warhawks who are ready to push Trump into this. Either way, it's bad.

ISIS is our fault. Thanks to our meddling, the Christians are being wiped out in the Middle East. And the world will soon be at war. Rather than wipe out ISIS, the Trump administration has decided to escalate things

To see who the evil people are in our government, merely look at the people who are happy with Trump's recent missle attack in Syria. Then you'll know who the villains are.

Who was flying the syrian planes that dropped the bombs and who added the chemicals when they dropped, witnesses on the ground who were actually there and suffered stated what they saw and are they to be dismissed. It is well know how badly governments in the ME treat their people and the little if any value they put on their own people's lives. This is all well documented I don't understand why anyone thinks this is impossible, these leaders are the dregs of the world nothing is outside of their capabilites. Why does it have to be a conspiracy.

  16. And since when has anything in the ongoing fires of Syria made sense? Paul seems to neglect that Syria hasn't much military strength left OTHER THAN their remaining terror type weaponry....chem. weapons....and Putin simply turns a blind eye to the one who still remains his ticket to some foothold in the Middle East. Assad has been moving refugees into such areas of complete control and uses bombing tactics over them in general to keep himself in place.

This is it Malachi, Trump made a great Mistake probably badly advised, they want war with Russia and probably before the next Russian election in 2018, de facto with this attack we are going straight into this war, they cannot accept any new election of Putin next year, Trump was a hope and I have supported his election but to me now it's over and directly related to the Fatima Prophecy.

  19. How is this suddenly related to the Fatima prophecy as if it's only now come to fruition? Some people haven't been paying much attention all these years since 1917....Russia HAS been allowed to spread it errors throughout the world all this time and when it's suddenly been replied to in only one region of the world it suddenly all becomes Trump's role alone for any fault. Mary's other "military actions" in history looked hopeless and frightening but when backed by prayer, esp. the Rosary, miracles occurred. No country worth its place in Divine Providence looks on war crimes against a country's own women and children without even a signal of conscience to the world. If this had been recognized by some action 4 years ago the Russian involvement/escalation of regional fires would have been contained to whatever degree possible. Nothing is written in stone.....all depends upon some action either for or against evil. Russia had already begun its move in the current world or hadn't you noticed? Obama was the one who gave opening to Russia spreading its errors who offered no opposition to R's move in its own surrounding regions, causing alarm and fear to former Soviet satellite countries there, and then opened the ME for Putin's foothold there. Now the more trustworthy countries of the region who have hoped for too long to also be defended by the U.S. like Egypt's El Sisi who alone entered into that vile situation of Coptics being burned alive in their locked Churches and who afterwards had its former U.S. aid given to the MuzBros by Obama halted, and Jordan's leader, while surrounded by the terrorists taking over more control in that region, was denied even intelligence from Obama for some help. Both have recently stated that without the U.S. support they have hardly any hope. And they recognize Iran's role in providing weapons to the terrorists which btw, this "signal" attack, also puts on alert. You have to wonder sometimes just whose side people of faith seem to be on these days.

  20. Trump's grandchildren know more Chinese than most!

Trump’s grandchildren sing Chinese song, recite poetry for Xi Jinping

US President Donald Trump’s grandchildren performed a traditional Chinese song and recited poetry for China’s President Xi Jinping during the leaders’ first meeting in Florida.

Arabella Kushner sang well-known Chinese folk song “Mo Li Hua”, or "Jasmine Flower", for the Chinese leader and his wife Peng Liyuan at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, according to a video posted by her mother Ivanka Trump on Twitter on Saturday (Apr 8) morning.

The five-year-old, who was joined by her younger brother Joseph Kushner, is the eldest child of Ms Trump and husband Jared Kushner.

The children also recited Chinese poetry “San Zi Jing” – a Confucian classic text used to teach young children about moral principles – though three-year-old Joseph appeared shy towards the end and turned towards his father.

This is not the first time Arabella, who has been learning Chinese since she was 18 months old, showed off her Mandarin-speaking skills.
