In 2005, in his meditations for the Stations of the Cross of that year, Cardinal Ratzinger wrote:
“How much filth there is in the Church, and even among those who, in the priesthood, ought to belong entirely to him!”

The following significant video is a painful account of some of what the Cardinal had already encountered and of what he would encounter after becoming Pope.

I believe it is a video every Catholic should view, however painful.

I watched it. A propaganda piece aimed at raising the likeability of a populist Pope who denounces populism.

I watched it and found it not as propaganda, This video has shown what has been happening for decades, The cover ups and the filth, the heart ache of victims...
And the why Pope Benedict had stepped down. it just showed the magnitude of it all in a 70+ plus minute video,
    Thank you for posting David.

    Please God
    forgive us, and
May The Holy Spirit guide our Pope. .amen

The message of the video is that the Catholic Church has been corrupted by the Church's teaching on sexual morality; that prior Popes were either unwilling (in the case of Pope John Paul) or incompetent (Pope Benedict) to clean out the corruption because they were unwilling to change Church teaching. Along comes the "unknown" Pope (we now know that he was well known to the Soros Catholic Spring crowd as well as to the St. Gallen Mafia) from the ends of the earth and if those evil Catholics who don't want Church teaching reversed can be overcome, there will be a new Catholic Church embracing homosexuality, contraception, abortion, and divorce. I don't remember mention of man made global warming caused by over-population but perhaps the video was made before Laudate Si was issued. They don't say outright that Pope Francis will actually implement their preferred agenda, but they portray him as a step in what they see as the right direction.

The video makers would have us believe that all corruption in the Church will end when the Church becomes more secular and discards Christ's teaching on everything except not abusing children and caring for the poor. A look at the list of contributors to the video should be enough to tell you the underlying message. Cardinals Rodrigues and Murphy-O'Connor from the hierarchy and a string of "spirit of Vatican 11" reporters. What the video didn't address was that both Pope John Paul and Pope Benedict were trying to grapple with two crises in the Church: corruption and apostasy. Rather than forming secret societies to depose and replace them, the likes of Cardinal Murphy O'Connor (and then Cardinal Bergoglio) would have been better served following Church teaching rather than trying to twist it to please lukewarm Catholics and apostates. Had they at least done that much, perhaps the Popes would have been better able to tackle the corruption in the Curia. Has Pope Francis' "who am I to judge" or "we can't keep focusing on abortion" statements rid the priesthood of perverts? Has the parade of non-Catholic cheque-bearing celebrities in the Vatican made the Church purer or poorer? Has the Vatican's hosting population control advocates advanced the belief that all human life is a gift from God that no human has the right to reject?

The truth is that it will take Pope Benedict's "poor Church for the poor" to get us back on track. A poor Church won't attract perverts to the priesthood when they don't have the wherewithal to pay escorts or throw parties, and poor priests will be less likely to have a roving eye or be attractive to young "Catholic" women who aren't Catholic enough to see a priest as being just as off limits as a married man. And poor Cardinals committed to defending and passing on the deposit of faith will be less susceptible to having their egos boosted by the attention of secular powers. The love of money is the root of all evil is as true today as it was when it was included in the Bible. The pervert priest who was financed by wealthy traditionalists was no traditionalist. He was a pervert who knew how to get people to part with their money and knew how to use the influence money can buy in a Church that has forgotten how to be a poor Church for the poor.

The Vatican bank should be shut down.

This is the way I see the church now.

The church instituted by Christ is His beautiful Pure and Holy bride!

Over many centuries Jesus has had to watch His pure bride being tortured and violently violated.

How these violations must be injuring Jesus, the bridegroom!

Over the last century the abominations and attacks on the beautiful bride of Christ have increased exponentially! The scandals and abominations have increased not only in number but also in depravity and evil.

These violations of greed, power, lust, envy, paedophilia, fornications, bullying, clericalism, etc, etc have now injured the bride to such a degree that she is unrecognisable!

    What should be done?

If some perverted sick vermin, vomited and defecated on the glass that housed the masterpiece of say the Mona Lisa, would the artist of that masterpiece Leonardo da Vinci, want the painting cleaned or would he want to change the painting?

Of course he would want the painting cleaned and in no way changed!

I believe the Holy Fathers have all tried to clean the church of corruptions and vile abominations but alas with little effect.

What we see now is Our Holy Father trying to clean the church of say greed and possibly paedophilia. This is a good thing however it is not good if it means that the remedy involves changing the Church teachings! How bizarre would that be?

Because it is exactly the church’s teachings that hold the purity and beauty of the bride of Christ!

There are two separate issues here.

Yes we see within the priesthood the despicable corruptions of greed, the vile homosexual lust and acts of fornication and the abominable, contemptible perverted evil of lust and fornication perpetrated by demonic paedophile priests; these outrageous atrocities must be removed from and eradicated off the beautiful garment of bride of Christ; so that she the Church, can shine with her glorious purity, that is rightfully hers and has always been hers.

This means that the church’s teachings must remain so that these very atrocities can be cleaned!

Because the Church's teachings hold the very purity and beauty of the bride of Christ, without which the church can not be cleaned!

Like the artist we want the masterpiece cleaned not changed.

So, the church goes from sex scandal ridden sin within the walls of the Vatican to open apostasy and false mercy in supporting adultery. It has not changed, only the game within the playgrounds. Now that Pope Francis has all but eliminated any and all orthodox Cardinals within the high offices within the Vatican the games can continue, just under a different venue. It will be more than lightning hitting the Vatican soon.
