I hardly know how to write this email, but the prayer need is so desperate and urgent. My son's 3 young children, a boy aged 6, a little girl aged 4, and another little boy aged 3, have been taken into the care of the local social services and will eventually be offered for adoption. They have lived with my husband and myself for 10 months but a newly appointed social worker has decided that we are living in overcrowded conditions and that we are too old to offer effective long term care I pray that a good catholic family be found for them, but with the politically correct laws of the UK, they may well be given to a "gay" couple. The implications are awful, and we are heartbroken, please pray for these children David Charlotte and Adam
A huge cross, Maryn. I am on the inght shift tonight and will pray to St Joseph through the night. How terrible that social workers who shoud be agents of good have become agents of evil
Yes, Maryn, Padraig is right - we need the help of the Holy Family. I will pray a St Joseph novena as well
Without a doubt! I will lift them up in prayer tonight at Adoration! Lord have mercy! Safe in the Father's Arms!
I am so sad. The social worker obviously do not understand the importance of the children's attachments to you. I will pray for God's will be done. This breaks my heart for you. I hope you will be allowed continued contact as this is so crucial to children's mental health. I'll pray, pray, pray Kath
I will pray to St. Philomena to intercede to our Lord for the children's well being, and for the right thing to be done for them. Also to St. Jude for hopeless causes...perhaps he can somehow intercede in prayer for you to turn the hearts of the social workers around and back to you for their support.
Thank you all so much for your prayers. Just clarify, the children were living with my husband and I because their mother seems to have psychological problems that have no solution and my son is having difficulty coming to terms with both her problems and the needs of the children. The social workers feel that they are acting in the childrens best interests, but they are now planning to look for a permanent placement outside the family Mary
Those poor babies. Dear Lord, bless little David, Charlotte and Adam. I beseech You to give them a stable and happy life. Prayers for the whole family as well.
sad, sad situation and my prayers are with you. I can't believe the government would split up a family like that. Your heartbreak and worry must be beyond what I can imagine. Prayers for you and the kids.
