By November 2017 we will be living in the era of peace...those who survive

In many places here on the forum I've read that if/when God sends a chastisement, we will know it is from God because it will be of a supernatural origin! However this gives the impression that God will not use natural means.

I believe God uses natural means to accomplish the supernatural, at times, because everything is subject to His power!

We see Jesus often using the natural in His Miracles.

Our Lord removed the unclean spirits from 2 men and sent them into herd of pigs.

Our Lord turns water into wine at the wedding feast at Cana.

Our Lords makes a paste of spittle and soil and puts that on the blind mans eyes and gives him his sight!

Our Lord feeds the mulitudes by praying and thanking His Father but he also uses 5 loaves and 2 fish and at another time 7 loaves and a few fish and at both times, baskets of left over fish and bread were collected, seven at one and twelve at another.

I believe many of the prophesies of chastisements such as at Garabandal, Akita, Fatima and Kibehdo and those contained in scripture in Revelations and in Daniel and even Our Lords words himself about the end times, are not just meant as metaphors/symbolic to be interpreted mystically; but in most cases are to be taken literally as well!

God told Noah to build an ark to specified measurements! and the rains came and a flood ensued. Literally!

 

Nothing is natural. All you see is the work of the Holy Spirit. Only dead, foolish spirit yearns for supernatural events, which are extraordinary. And Satan fulfills his desire, because he is disorder and God is order and makes ordinary things. God uses almost always natural manners, which are in real the supernatural ones.

At Fatima, among other specific events, Our Lady predicted the beginning of the Second World War. In this she was more correct than the historical/political consensus which dates the start as the invasion of Poland. The truth is that hostilities had already commenced with the absorption of Austria and the division of Czechoslovakia, all, as she predicted, within the papacy of Pius XI.

 

And no? I erred if I used to believe, that Joey will have new physical eyes. God does not want our blind trust in words. He wants our Love. Everyone, who defends their own opinions without love, errs. I questioned - and I will do so - the human interpretations of Garabandalists, I question the meanings of people, who literally believe in Revelation, because they do not realize spiritual world. If I explained the future from the Revelation, I would be fool. But I recognized current and past events in Revelation, because I got from God without my own merits new spiritual sight.
And all are fools, who think, that they are better than Russians. (In the past however... It is truth, the Russians spreaded atheism into whole world). Indeed, these people are real BETTER than Russians, but no Christians, but Hypocrytes or Pharisees. Nothing more. Who destroyed nations, economically or politically? USA and EU! Only they! Who supports in secret the wars in Syria, Lybia? USA and EU! Only they! I would be happy, if your explanations were true, and Russians occupied all nations. But you are not true. It is not an indication of the end of the world but the end of a certain mentality on earth. It is the Beginning.
Anyway, you are free to believe whatever you like to.

 

Why do you call this a proof ? That is not a proof to me.
Probably the people now wrote that phrase on the wall just for the tourists because it was somewhere else discovered in the inscriptions of that Pyramid and long time ago. I cannot translate the pages of the book in which St Augustin is explaining your argument. I am sorry, I have no time for that. But again: I believe the book but you are free not to believe it.

Joey recieving new eyes has nothing to do with the messages Our Lady gave to the world at Garabandal!

The personal message given to Joey by Our Lady, via Conchita, was for Joey alone! it was a comfort to him because if he had lived to witness the Miricale he would have no doubt seen as Our lady had predicted with the words......you shall see on the day of the Miracle!

What Our lady told the "world" was of a future warning and a future miracle and a conditional chastisement that were coming and these prophesies are to be taken literally!

Our Lady also gave two messages!

The first, revealed on October 18, 1961, states:

We must make many sacrifices, perform much penance, and visit the Blessed Sacrament frequently. But first, we must lead good lives. If we do not, a chastisement will befall us. The cup is already filling up, and if we do not change, a very great chastisement will come upon us.

The second;....

On June 18, 1965, Conchita heard the second message given via St Michael the archangel;

As my Message of the 18th of October has not been complied with, and as it has not been made known to the world, I am telling you that this is the last one. Previously, the Cup was filling; now, it is brimming over. Many priests are following the road to perdition, and with them they are taking many more souls. Ever less importance is being given to the Holy Eucharist. We should turn the wrath of God away from us by our own efforts. If you ask His forgiveness with a sincere heart. He will pardon you. I, your Mother, through the intercession of St. Michael the Archangel, wish to tell you that you should make amends. You are now being given the last warnings. I love you very much, and I do not want your condemnation. Ask Us sincerely and We shall grant your plea. You must make more sacrifices. Reflect on the Passion of Jesus.

I have never spoken about Russia once! nor about its occuping nations as you claim I have!!!

 

People are blinder than Joey was, although they have eyes. Joey got new eyes. But many people will not receive them.


You have spoken about literal fulfillment of Garabandal. And this includes the Russia, if you know events predicted in Garabandal.

Messages must be accepted literally. They are direct said for conversion of people. Only predicted events from future are said in secret words.

 

Before 3000 years prophets used words Samaria, Egypt, Moab, Amon, Babylon, pagans, Canaanites in prophecies of the end of the World. Now the language is other in today's prophecies, which remains still written in secret tongue.

Interesting insights.... but, please, do not use word 'fool' ! It's absolutely too harsh.... If English is not our native language we must be careful with those kind of words.... I appreciate your thoughts but not always your choice of words. I'm a professional translater and I say this in a friendly manner.

 

I know what 'fool' means. But is not every sinner the fool? Is not every hypocryte the fool? Every one who accepts Satan and denies God is according to my opinion 'fool'. To exchange the heaven for the hell is not foolish? There exists more harder words, as is demon, but I am not the Judge. Only Jesus sees, whether the man is only confussed, obsessed or human-demon.

And I return to those, who spreads division and hatred against another nation or race. They are 'diabolos', because it means to spread division and hatred.
I have not said, that here is someone the fool. But I know people, who quoting Fatima and Garabandal spread hatred against Russia, only therefore, because they explain the predictions literally and have fear of Russians. Therefore they hate them. I have to alert here, that literal explanations of prophecies can lead to foolishness and even to hell.

 

Indeed, we all speak about 2017 that something will happen. We know when it will rain, but we do not recognize the signes that indicate that His Return is close.... We do not know the date, but 2023 is not a date, it is just a year. And what exactly will happen in 2023 ? We do not know, but it will be a big change. That is all. Not much hein, so too little to assume that the book knows the day or the hour. Conclusion: it is not a better proof.

I'm from Finland and do not belong to that group of people here who hate Russians. I personally know some Russians and perhaps understand a bit of their thinking. There are big differences between Russian individuals ja social groups - of course - and in spite of that all of them are treated according to the same prejudices. It's sad and I could say: it's nonsense. I happen to understand Russian language and happen to know many stories about their devotion to Christian Faith. It is not always a question of quantity but the quality of the faithfuls. How somebody who can't understand Russian language and read their own religious sites COULD understand what kind of spiritual life they are living? It's not only the quantity of new churches which is important but it's the depth and wisdom of their faith that impresses. They have unbelievably wise spiritual teachers and religious leaders! And Patriarch Kirill belongs to those wise teachers - before you condemn him please read his sermons and teachings in English!

Many times there is for example talk about the Russian Orthodox Church persecuting Protestant Christian groups in Russia. The main reason for that is: Orthodox clerics can't recognize some Christian group WITHOUT the original Eucharist as fully Christian ! They simply can't accept those groups without holy Sacraments to be a real part of Christianity. I'm not worried about the valuation of the Eucharist in Russia (or in general in the Orthodoxy) because it is in very capable hands - so to speak. Respect for the Mother of God is very deep indeed. Are these not the main points in the religious thinking of people on this forum? If Catholics are persecuted in Siberia as I have heard it's of course absolutely unacceptable. All the bishops and religious leaders in Russia certainly do not behave in a civilized manner but I don't believe that persecution of Catholics is in the official program of the Orthodox Church. Regional differences in Russia are great and it is important to examine and to prove the allegations carefully. IF it's not intended to incite hatred and prejudices. And this applies of course to all parties.

There are bad people and leaders everywhere. Why Russia would be an exception? Only a few people will be saved - everywhere ... And if Russia is going to conquer some part of the European countries it would be well advised to look back: what those countries did at first, how much they stirred up anger towards Russia and it's citizens? I think I'm not going to write about this anymore, it is so easily understandable for everyone who wants to understand. You have many predictions how Russia is going to conquer Europe... but why it would do it? Is it perhaps a whip of God? I personally would hope that Finland would not belong to EU because I do not trust in it at all. I know it is a godless community and acts accordingly. But there is nothing else I can do but pray for my country.

 

This is not meant to scare anyone but when I read the following scripture I find it interesting how it is specifically mentioned that a thousand years is like one day (and vice versa). A thousand years of peace could be very short. (Elisa's right, be nice!)

If you don't think that it is the sign that is described in Revelation 12 that is up to you, I am not going to try and convince anyone.

 

Carol, You are mathematician and believe in Revelation in many parts literally...
So here are simple equations:
Equation 1 They reigned with Christ for a thousand years (Rev 20) and Equation 2 Thousand years are one day (2 Peter)

Why you expect the long era of peace? Here you have simple mathematical substitution:
The era of peace will take only one day of God.

But, of course, one day of God was in the past more than one billion years...

 

What parts of Revelation do I believe literally? That a beast will/has entered the church soon based on a sign in the heavens. Who is certain about any of this? That is the point of my post, not to take it literally. We have some prophecies which we believe should be fulfilled first but everything is up to God. Our time left could be very short, we don't for certain, so why not spend that time wisely.
