Mother Angleica was a very shrewd lady as well as being saintly. I wonder if she knew even back then that the evil forces she was ranting about were even then entrenched in the Vatican and plotting like crazy to sieze the rudder? I suspect she did. Shewas shrewd enough not to point the finger. but I think she did, reading between the lines.
Rants have their place. A priest recently told me in Confession that we had to speak up in a nice way. More or less what he meant, I think, was to tell the truth and shame the devil.
