Speaking of witches and the like. I know Ya don't need more "SIGNS" ... but :( .... Oh!! ... I'm sure that most here are in "The Know" so I'm sure there is, really, no need for me to Point-Out that Planned "Parenthood" is a "treasured entity" of the Democrat Party USA and PP is oft defended by the Democrat Party and their most "prestigious" leaders to. Perhaps some of our Liberal members here can enlighten us to the "Whys" of it all ... Eh!!??

I always feel sad when I enter a Catholic house and there are no Catolic holy pictures or statues on display. I remember a time every house had the Sacred Heart up.

They say nture hates a vacuum. The way it is in the world at the moment I don;t think there is such a choice as remianing neutral and choosing not to put up Holy pictures and get away with it. TV's and computers I think can be sources of evil on their won without anything else. I get a bad feeling when I enter a house with nothing Holy on display. If you love God you will naturally decorate it with the Holy.

I agree that Crowley was the main player for bringing the occult into the 20th century, however I do wish to point out that whatever he may have envisioned for whatever concept of Wicca he had back then is nothing in relation to what passes for Wicca today.
Originally Wicca was meant to be a 'tuned up' version of a combination of Druid based practices and medieval witchcraft. Today Wicca has all manner of 'gods/goddesses' which are not related to each other, in the 'modern Wicca' pantheon we have Hekate (ancient Greek) and 'Mother Earth' (which has no name and could be defined as Babalon [enochian] or indeed anyone who the writer of any ritual/spell/ceremony wishes it to be).
Do I believe that demons are behind any percieved resurgence of the occult? Well yes and no.... I see them in the same manner as street level drug dealers in that they will give you small amounts in order to get you addicted for free but when you are addicted then it will be no longer free and the price continually increases. But as we see atheism becoming the 'belief of choice' then I think (certainly as I see it now) that 'occult' knowledge will diminish among the general population. Why would demons give out knowledge in order to enslave when people choose to be slaves? I would deem modern Wicca to be a type of sorcery than a magic occult system.
(I was a former theistic Satanist and practical Kabbalist)

I always thought Crowley was a bit of a showman and that the real Satanists stayed in the background?

I always understood that the Satanism is as old as man himself? But I am no expert. The whole subject is so shadowy..

Crowley just used whatever worked, he didnt care how or why it did. I wouldnt say he was a dedicated Satanist but rather a freestyler in regards to the occult.
Satanism came after the fall for the losers to 'regroup' but only became an 'ism' when Adam, Eve, Abel, Cain, etc hit the scene

It's not a secret that abortion is the greatest of all satanic sacraments.

Yes! If you look at the methodology of abortions today where the babies are ripped out and incinerated, and compare that to how children were sacrificed to Moloch.

Curious what is your take on the orthodox Jewish rabbis in Israel using the Kabbala to predict the messiah is either here or coming soon.

About two years ago I was shocked by a highly respected colleague who confided in me with some pride that his son was the new leader of OTO and was taking the place of the alleged son of Crowley. I hardly heard anything else that he said as I prayed and prayed silently for protection from Jesus and St Michael. I have not seen him since. Before I left I tried to warn him of the great danger he and his son were in but to no avail.

It depends on what they are actually doing, are they doing it as a group effort or individually?
It is possible to get revelations but there is no specific ritual per se for such things. It would be more viable to use the Shem ha-Mephorash.
    But there are 2 issues
    1. Most Jews in Israel are what can be called atheist/secular and there are atheist rabbis who see 'judaism' more in terms of tribal/ethnic roleplay than a religion.
    2. Those who do believe in a concept of God do so in a pantheist context.

I cannot see a bunch of rabbis who may be of varying degrees of belief come out of such a ritual/venture with a uniform result. Consider this, synagogues do not ban or expel atheists (even open atheists). What effect or value would ones prayers have if the person next to you is thinking 'this is utter garbage!'

I put no value in anything rabbis say

At least you tried to warn. You planted a seed and your prayers made a difference.

These things have to be discussed and dealt with. If people want to make a deal with the devil they should at least know what they are buying into, once they know we will see how keen they are as to 'buying in'.
We can only warn people but it is their choice and they will pay the consequences. They have to know that this is not a 'fad' or roleplay game and it is for keeps!

I expect that the old adage: "There are no atheists in Fox Holes"
will be tested in Israel and EVERYwhere soon ... real soon :(
Time to Get-Back to the basics of Our Faith and spending time/effort on areas/people that you may have some influence over.

  14. You hopefully have this sorted by now SB, but yes I would believe one can be affected by those close to you who open themselves to occultic forces.
