    Fatima Pilgrim;

Yes, yes, yes! It's not about "knowing", but doing. It takes abandonment, trusting COMPLETELY in His will, without even having to know what it is. Just inviting Him, over and over, to do every act in you, in His will. When I find myself with a choice, I just pray, "Lord, You take over. Think in my thinking; decide in my deciding." This really is the "sacrament of the present moment".

What seems to be the key, is not to be over scrupulous in ones own sin. In doing so, I have found that we do not trust in his mercy. Living in the Divine Will at this point is not being perfect. This may be the case after the Warning, but at least until then we must be content in humbling our sinfulness to his mercy time and again. I know others have said it, but until we die to this world and all its pleasures and allurements it is not possible to live in His Will. TV, Facebook, cell phones, texting etc.. is all a big road block to living in the Divine Will. Soon to be, St. Mother Teresa always said it best, "you can't find God in noise", but in silence". It seems to me the firsts fruits of Living in the Divine Will is an internal peace and joy that the world does not know.

Jesus told Luisa many times in the book of heaven not to look at herself. NOT being able to judge what you accomplish is precisely what makes this such a little way. It's just doing as many acts in the Divine Will as possible, trusting that God will distribute the treasure through our Blessed Mother.

"The Kingdom of the Divine Fiat will make the great miracle of banishing all evils, all miseries, all fears, because It will not perform a miracle at one time or circumstance, but will keep the children of Its Kingdom with Itself with an act of continuous miracle, to preserve them from any evil, and let them be distinguished as the children of Its Kingdom. This, in the souls; but also in the body there will be many modifications, because sin is always the nourishment of all evils. Once sin is removed, there will be no nourishment for evil; more so, since my Will and sin cannot exist together, therefore also the human nature will have its beneficial effects." In walking with Mary in the Divine Will on Day 15, she speaks an important lesson of wisdom for any of us in positions of authority, from parents to Presidential candidates:

But, alas, with the sorrow of Mother, I must say:
how many bitternesses, disturbances and discords are there not? while sanctity is not in the office given to them, but in doing the Divine Will in whatever office that might be entrusted to them, for It is the Peacemaker of souls, Strength and Support in the hardest sacrifices.

    Lord,

Keep me humble without condescension toward those you have entrusted to my care so that the Divine Will may be lived out in my daily life!:)

Safe in the Refuge of the Immaculate Heart!

  6. I find I am sometimes almost overwhelmed at the amount of peace I have since I started this way of living! Also it is a tremendous grace to be able to go to bed at night and looking back on the day, see only good! I'm sure others will agree..
Having said that, there have been times I have done my own will and lost my peace in the process, thankfully these experiences have served to keep me more determined to remain in the DW. I have discovered there is a huge difference between having a Divine peace and a human peace.

BC, if only those on this forum who think and talk as if the next president will bring us this peace would enter into the study and practice of the Divine Will. All their worries about who or who is not going to be the next president would not be of concern if they let God do His thing and would enter into his Divine Will. As long as man thinks they can control our every day situations they will not be at peace.

I agree. Also, asking Jesus to rest in me and fusing myself in the Divine Will as I lay down at night has resulted in fabulous sleep. And it seems when I do this, I wake up praying in the Divine Will!

Yes! Jesus tells us through Luisa that the way to know if we are living in His Will is by the "peace" we experience, whereas, when we are not in His Will, all is disorder and no peace. When I go to bed at night and look back on my day, I do not always see "good", but place everything, even my faults and failures, in His Will to be burned up in the fire of His Love.

This also used to happen to me - waking up in prayer, but most of the time now Jesus wants me to make more of an effort, so He will wake me from my sleep - usually at 3AM (as He did last night), to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. I offer it for the dying and for all who sin in the night. But you are right in saying that placing yourself in the Divine Will as we sleep will result in a wonderful rest as we rest in the Heart of Jesus and Mary. Luisa has a prayer for the evening before she sleeps, and when I find it I will post it here on this thread. Bless you!

If only ALL would live in His Will! That fullness is not here on earth yet, but Jesus is making His way "little by little".

I got woken up at 3 this morning as well. Went back to sleep at 5:30, then when I was almost asleep, I felt a poke in my ribs and heard, "Hey!" (My husband is out of town, so I was alone.) I got back up and started on a task I've been putting off.

I've prayed for a long time that my angel would be given sharp elbows and a loud voice to keep me from missing anything. I've heard the loud voice before, but now the sharp elbows are coming out!

That peace is such a good source of navigation. I've learned that when I notice it's gone (and it's quite noticeable!) to back up and see where I lost it, and plunge back into the Divine Will.

I had an interesting experience this week. I'm being called to a radical leap of faith, and just before committing, I felt this strange heaviness. I said, "Lord, I know that your Will is my peace. I'm having trouble believing this is your Will when I feel this way." I heard interiorly, "You have peace." I said, "Yes, I do, but what is this feeling?" I was given to understand that I was feeling the burden of the Lord pushing me to act. When I made the commitment, the heaviness left.

This made me think of a suggestion that was made to me many years ago: It is not change that causes pain but resistance to change.

Well not necissarily. Obama's "hope and change" caused allot if pain.

    lynnfiat,
I too have been wakened by God, but usually between 4-5. How do I know it is of God? I begin praying almost the instant that I wake and my the focus is on those in the world and family that need Gods love.

Resisting God and His Will causes pain. Jesus told Luisa that the human will is responsible for all evil.

These words of Jesus have been coming to me often:

But he looked at them and asked, “What then does this scripture passage mean:
‘The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone?
Everyone who falls on that stone will be dashed to pieces; and it will crush anyone on whom it falls.”

    Matthew 20:17-18

I think it means when you surrender your self, your will, completely, it is a death, dashing you to pieces. Then comes the resurrection life! But those who resist, clinging to their own will and making themselves a god, will ultimately be crushed.

Anyone who rejects the law of Moses is put to death without pity on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Do you not think that a much worse punishment is due the one who has contempt for the Son of God, considers unclean the covenant-blood by which he was consecrated, and insults the spirit of grace?
We know the one who said:
“Vengeance is mine; I will repay,”
    and again:
“The Lord will judge his people.”
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

    Hebrews 10:28-31

Top Reasons why it’s so important to read the Passion book*…
not just during Lent, but all year long:

    1) “I believe that if one who meditates them is a sinner, he will convert; if he is imperfect, he will become perfect; if he is holy, he will become more holy; if he is tempted, he will find victory; if he is suffering, in these Hours he will find the strength, the medicine, the comfort. And if his soul is weak and poor, he will find spiritual food and the mirror in which he will reflect himself continuously to be embellished and to become similar to Jesus, our model.” (from a letter of Luisa to Saint Annibale M. di Francia)

    2) “If Jesus heard His own voice and His prayers being reproduced in those reparations, just as the ones He raised to His Father during the 24 hours of His sorrowful Passion…if this were done in each town or city at least, by as many souls, Jesus seems to make me understand that Divine Justice would be placated in part, and in these sad times of torments and bloodshed, Its scourges would be stopped, in part, and as though dampened.” (from the same letter to Saint Annibale Marie di Francia)

    3) “The purpose of these Hours of the Passion is not so much that of narrating the story of the Passion…But rather, the purpose is the reparation, uniting the different points of the Passion of Our Lord with the diversity of the many offenses, and making worthy reparation for them together with Jesus, almost making up for all that the other creatures owe Him.” (Luisa)

    4) Jesus to Luisa: "If they do them together with Me and with My own Will, I will also give them a soul for each word they will recite, because the greater or lesser effectiveness of these Hours of my Passion is in the greater or lesser union that they have with Me.” (October 1914, Volume 11 of Luisa’s diary, The Book of Heaven)
