The Divine Will

By the way, I've struggled in doing the "rounds" Luisa taught, until I started using the rosary as a means to do rounds in the Divine Will in each mystery.

 

Yes, and when we do those acts in the name of everybody from Adam to the last person to be created, only God and Our Lady know of the glory to the Trinity and the benefits to mankind!!

 

Yes all grace flows from our Beautiful Mother and this is a special sanctifying and habitual grace that few are fully given. I have given my fiat and wait for Gods time and His Will for me. As I wait I continue to grow deeper in His love and understanding and allow Him to continue to purge my own will into "thy will be done". So I continue my journey until he feels I am ready to take on this special grace in living entirely in Gods Divine Will.

 

You've mentioned this before and I wonder if you could explain this a bit more? If and when you have the time

 

Here is an example of how Luisa did rounds:

It's not a formula, but a meditation on joining our "fiat" to the Fiat of God in creation, redemption and sanctification.

Maybe Lynnfiat can expand, since she's been living this way for so many years...

 

1 .Make the act of fusing one’s soul in the Divine Will. This is done by calling (asking from heart, mind and soul) the Divine Will to animate and direct what you are doing or about to do, that is, to do in you what you are doing or about to do. The soul not only becomes merged in the Divine Will, flowing with It, but becomes dispersed in the Divine Will everywhere in all Creation with God.

2. Since the soul becomes bilocated everywhere and operates in the mode of eternity, the soul’s intellect simply begins making acts of focusing, one after the other, on the places or activities to which it is now present in the bilocative and eternal mode and the will fused with the Divine Will begins to make acts of recognition, gratitude, praise, love and glory to God in each thing , or place, or activity where the intellect is focused.

3. By making the rounds of recognition, gratitude, praise, love and glory to God, the soul becomes familiar with the things that God has created as well as His activity in Redemption. After a time, the soul goes beyond familiarization to the taking possession of them. Then, after some more time of familiarization and possession, the soul will come to be armed with the right to command created things. For example the soul might command the sun, planets and stars to pray the rosary in union with the soul by using the will, reasoning and voice of the soul, present in them. Using this right of command, at some point in the development of the Reign of the Divine Will on earth, souls will be able to command the elements, which will faithfully obey. And this is because the created things were created to be commanded and to obey the slightest wishes of the legitimate sons and daughters of the Divine Will. “Thus, fire, light, cold, will let themselves be commanded and will faithfully obey.”

4. Entering the endless realms of the Divine Will, the soul observes the great theater of Creation and the splendorous magnificence of the love that fills all things. She runs from work to work, gathering all the love that the Three Divine Persons have spread out through Creation. She takes it all upon her lap and comes before the Majesty of God to give Them the many different varieties of love that They have placed in created things. With that, the soul plays her song of love with the various notes of God’s creative love, and O with what joy the Holy Trinity receives from the festivities that begin between Heaven and earth and from the oceans of love surrounding Their Throne! They take the soul’s offering of love, and give back to her doubled love. Then, after celebrating the feast of all creation, the soul wants to bring doubled love to the Blessed Trinity, so she flows away from the Divine Throne to all created things, spreading the doubled love of the Trinity upon all created things, and with the power of the Divine Will, which she possesses, she makes everything say: “Love, love to our Creator!”

As an example of the Rounds of Creation, you can pray the Canticle of Azariah and his companions: Daniel 3:52-88 - or the shorter version as in the Liturgy of the Hours Daniel 3:57-88.

“By calling it in everything you do, whether natural or spiritual. In fact, everything is in the Divine Will; therefore It wants to love together with you, and if you call It, It gives you Its Love in your power in order to be loved; It gives you Its sanctity to make yourself a saint, Its light to make Itself known and to eclipse your weaknesses, miseries and passions, so that they may no longer have life in you, but only Its Will, laying and forming Its Life in your little act…”

 

Due to a childhood accident I have been only able to speak no more than 4 words at a time for over 40 years, but in the process of coping with it I learnt to do a summary of everything, and the Lord has blessed me with the grace now of keeping things simple and direct.

DW = Divine Will
OL = Our Lady

From the little time I have been trying to live in the DW, I have with OL's, and Tony Hickey's help, devised a short way of entering into it.

On awaking in the morning I tell Jesus I desire all of my thoughts, words and actions to be done in the name of everybody from Adam to the last person to be born, with OL's will, His will and in the DW to give the Father perfect honour and glory.
I offer the Divine version of everybody past present and future to the glory of the Father, and I especially mention a saint if it happens it is their feast day.
I also ask OL's help throughout the day.

Then in my prayer time...I pray the JPII prayer but put the words DW into it instead of Immaculate Conception. I pray through and with OL and ask that Jesus' desires, words, affections, works etc become fused with mine. I also ask OL to adorn me with the wounds of Jesus in his passion, crown my head with thorns, fill my eyes with His tears, disfigure my face with bruises and spit, pull out fistfuls of hair, cover my body with lacerations, pierce my hands and feet and side with nails and lance, and also to dress my soul with His most precious blood. Then I ask her to present me before the Divine Majesty as another Jesus (vol 11). All for the glory of the Father.

I stand in the gap for all mankind, and take all the experiences of everybody into my experiences, their glances into my eyes, all their senses into my senses, their work into my hands, steps into my feet etc. And I offer all of this united with OL's will, Jesus's will and in the DW, all to the Glory of the Father.

I try to do the 'rounds' throughout the day also by putting, an I love you, praise you, glorify you etc on everything I experience and see in creation, words, prayers, what Jesus did and said, the actions of the Holy Spirit etc. All again united with OL's will, Jesus' will and in the DW for the perfect glory and honour of the Father.
I do all of these with the intention of praying for OL's intentions.

Living in the DW is not about what you say or how you say it but more about your desire to do it, after all we are only creatures and Jesus said he would do all that is necessary if we only desire it.

I have only been doing the DW a few months and no doubt theses prayers will change over time, but hopefully how I do them now will help somebody else.

PS One very important point I missed is to say an act of contrition every morning before doing any of the above, just in case one may have lost the gift of the DW through one's failings!

Only a few months??? - Our Lord has granted you a great Grace and has filled you with the knowledge of living in His Will. Everyone who truly desires this Gift, He will give It to. We just need to persevere in praying "unceasingly" as Our Blessed Mother has told us. You are on the right path to living completely in His Will. God bless you!

 

Mid Oct 2015 to be exact! Thank you for you kind comments and I do agree the Lord has blessed me greatly through Our Lady's intercession. Some nights when studying the volumes something is read which I can understand instantly, it's like as if I have already known it but I know I don't, if you know what I mean. Having said that I do struggle in keeping my mind focused on the DW, some days I think Boy this is great and other days I almost forget it totally!

 

I began mid-October 2013. I'm finding that the more acts I do in the Divine Will, with each passing day, the less I forget. I read in one of the volumes that Jesus told Luisa that all of our acts done in the Divine Will nourish us, protect us, surround us and lead us to the next act. I sense this happening in me.

 

Kathy K and Border Collie - I just came from Adoration and felt Our dear Lord asking me to repeat something from Vol. 23 for you:
"...you must know that if my Will were not present in you, you could not have comprehended Its celestial language; it would have been like a foreign dialect for you, like alight without heat, like a good without substance..."
Do not doubt, but persevere giving your Fiat always to His Divine Heart and making your Rounds in His Will. It is what He asks of you. Thank you, Jesus!

Thank you lynnfiat for your prayers and for confirming our journeys, I owe all of this though to Our Lady and the consecration to her by St. Louis de Montfort. She, being the mistress of my soul led me into living in the DW through her,even though at the time I didn't realise what it was. She gave me little snippets of info and graces along the way and it was only in discovering Luisa that the snippets made sense!

I too have started doing the rounds in my prayers, on each word and thought and distraction. Also in mass, each word of the priest, the readings, images in my mind etc. And finally.. on each word of the gossipers after mass is over. Their sentences may not be Godly but their words mainly are!

 

When I say I struggle with the rounds, I guess what I really struggle with is, "Am I doing it enough?" Praying the rounds before each mystery in the rosary gives me peace, because I'm not neglecting the rounds of redemption. The rounds of creation come easier to me, because I sit on my back porch and have a beautiful view of hawks, doves, trees, plants, sunsets, etc.

What I love about the rounds is how much creativity it allows. Instead of standard prayers, as you said BC, you can use every situation and every thing that you see, hear and think of.

 

This sounds beautiful! I will have to learn the rounds and apply it in my daily journey. Speaking of journeys, I see that someone is having a birthday. May I say a prayer for you at Mass that you begin to flow in His love and mercy this day and all the days ahead as you continue to follow His Divine Will. AMEN

Jesus said in the writings that the most important Round to pray is the around of Creation. Creation - The Father, Redemption - Jesus, Sanctification - The Holy Spirit
