But if Trump does win, it seems like the trajectory for the US is to remove support for Ukraine. I have also read recently that it seems like much of Europe wants to pull out too, however there are some nations wishing to increase support. One of them being France. Also, today it appears that Putin wants Russia's nuclear doctrine changed. I am supposed to go to Clearwater Beach in 2 weeks for a long weekend. now I'm wondering if there will be a beach left.
I was wondering about all the snow birds flocking to Fla for the winter if their plans will be changed. I have several friends who live out of RV's full time. What the water takes out, the wind will take out with downed power lines. It looks like a big bad hurricane. I'm thinking back to the days of Andrew and Katrina. The south has still not recovered from those and they were decades ago. The area it is hitting looks alot like Michael, that was a small cane and did tremendous amounts of damage. We were living down south then. We drove through the panhandle where Michael hit and you wouldn't believe what you were seeing, total total destruction.

Besides being hit with Hurrican Helene, Mexico has been blasted with Hurricane John. My cousing lives there and sent devastating images of villages under water. The communication in Mexico is much slower than here. Prayers for all the people in the way of the storms. There is another hurricane developing in the Atlantic right now. Helene was fast and furious!
My parents and our family farm are well in Northwest Florida. The hurricaine made landfall close to our farm. It was a category 4 major hurricaine. Thank God just lots of fallen branches and only minor repairs needed on house. All of their Church group friends are doing well too. 98% of Dixie County is without power. My parents have solar panels backed by batteries, and a well, so doing OK.
My nephew is down there working right now. He's a lineman and goes where the storms are. I think he will be down there for awhile. Glad everyone is safe . . .
