Don't forget the most alarming sign, which is the state of the Church and the generalized apostasy. Yup, there will be nothing unturned through it all and the one true faith will be all that is left as a remnant of the past. Thy will be done!
I am only starting to realise now, Denis the real significance of the sun dancing at Fatima. I used to think it was only a display to catch our attention and rmeind us that God realy exists. Well it was that too, but what it realy was , was an indicator of what is going to happen in the futre with the sun. For instance the Eathquake in the California region does seem realted to solar activity as does the realy weird weather right across the wolrd.
Yes, Padraig! Before the Passion, the Transfiguration...to give hope to the frightened apostles! Likewise, in these terrible times, Fatima is a beacon of hope! In the great miracle of the sun at Fatima, Our Lady demonstrated that when all seems catastrophically lost, there is an unmistakably spiritual rescue. The triumph of her Immaculate Heart!
You could be right about Merkel. I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. I agree with you about the uncertainty but I think that the Germans will do whatever it takes to protect Deutsche Bank. Someone said yesterday that it accounts for half the German economy. Being a complete ignoramous on money matters, I don't understand that, but you don't need to be a financial wizard to know that the Germans will put Germany first, will ignore all the rules if it suits them, and nobody will dare challenge them. The Euro has served them well until now. If and when that changes, Germany's attitude will change. Federalism being the long term aim of the EU, I don't know how they could achieve it without fiscal and monetary union. They may well admit defeat on the Euro but not until after the elections in Germany and France. Meanwhile we will limp along. The only reason I'm aware of how Erdogan came to power is that I used to be in contact with someone living in Turkey who died a couple of years ago. At first I thought that she was exaggerating about Gulen and Erdogan because, in fairness to them, they did bring improvements to people's living standards. I dismissed her fears because she was a staunch "freedom to worship" type secularist and thought that her warnings were based on anti-Muslim bigotry. Turns out that she was right all along. Trouble is that for all the advances in information technology, it's almost impossible to find the truth amid the spin and manipulation from the world's elite. I wouldn't trust any of them and I believe that their greed and lust for power can only end in disaster. Very few if any of them have the slightest regard for the sanctity of human life. In the basket case that is France, the Government is trying to outlaw "misinformation" about abortion because pro-abortion websites don't automatically make the top of internet search results for abortion in France. They want to fix it so their own official "neutral" website is always at the top of the list. That's their priority while their ineptitude has resulted in a situation where they can't guarantee anybody's safety.
It may be far more than a spiritual reality, the dancing sun may be pointing to a physical reality of which recent severe weather and siesmic activiy is a sign. If this is correct we will have hugely increased solar activiy leading up to Oct 13 '17 and this will dramtically effect the weather and seismic activiy. I believe this is already happening, right across the globe. But will culminate OCT 13 next year. I am baffled why I never realised this before. We must look to the sky!
The Muslim invasion of Europe is one aspect of the migration story, but there is another tragic aspect. Just watching a programme about the migrant crisis on Sky News, a person would have to have a heart of stone not to feel pity for the migrants. These people are coming from all over Africa. Very few are from Syria or any war torn area and the majority won't qualify for asylum in Europe. They travel from all across Africa, making their way to Libya where the traffickers put them on overloaded dinghies and send them out to sea without so much as a life jacket. God help them, they are leaving behind desperate conditions and risking their lives to make a better future for themselves and the families they have left behind. Sitting here in my warm, comfortable home watching desperate people being fished out of the sea as though they were little more than animals leaves me with a profound sense of guilt. Just like us, these people are made in God's image and likeness and they deserve better. It just isn't right that people in one part of the world can plan and fund future pleasure trips to outer space while so many people in other parts of the world don't even have basic necessities like clean water, food and a roof over their heads. Europe can't take them all but there should be some way the international community can make life better for them and give them hope for the future in their home countries. I don't know what is the solution but this can't go on indefinitely.
Let's have a balanced view...not media talking points. The majority of refugees are single males under the age of 30. They should be protecting their homeland. I would be the first to take woman and children. But that is not what is happening. So yes, you are correct but let's be truthful about it. Brother al
Well, just to remind everyone: At sunset tomorrow, local time wherever you're at, Rosh HaShanah (The Feast of Trumpets) begins. It is 1 Tishrei 5777. At sunset, go outside and blow your shofar. Then come back inside and have some apple slices dipped in honey (to ensure the coming year will be sweet). (Then, when anyone asks how you're doing, you can say, "Shofar, Shogood.") Here are the following dates for the Jewish calendar (dates start at sunset the night before): 10 Tishrei 5777 -- 12 Oct 2016 Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) 15 Tishrei 5777 -- 17 Oct 2016 Sukkot (Feast of Tents or Feast of Booths AKA Feast of Tabernacles) 23 Tishrei 5777 -- 25 Oct 2016 Simchat Torah ("Joy of Torah" End/Beginning of Torah Cycle of Readings) 20 Cheshvan 5777 -- 20-21 Nov 2016 Jupiter (the King planet) enters into the body (womb) of the constellation Virgo (the virgin). 25 Kislev 5777 -- 25 Dec 2016 Chanukah begins (Feast of Lights)
Asak any Catholic what Feast Day any particular day is and I'd say in over 90% of cases that will get it wrong. So I 'd like to see them learning our own Feasts first, also the little custms we used to have to celebrate them. Like leaving roses on St Thereses statue.
Fred Reed is a very earthy "Tell-It-Like-It-Is" Guy who does not Kowtow to Political Correctness and some years ago moved to Mexico. This is a religious site and I don't really want to post this kind of Article but as many here, including ME, believe we are presently in the early stages of THE STORM ... It's important to Pull our Heads Out .... and understand what's going on! This is about the USA but could just as easily be about Muslims vs Jews vs Christians and/or Black vs White vs Brown ... anywhere!! In the USA and EU we have powerful political parties dividing their nations along racial/religious/Ethnic lines in order to gain more power/wealth ....... IT NEVER ENDS WELL!!! .... when that occurs ... in case Ya slept through History Class.......! Bad-n-Hard Times are here ... NOW!! .... Get Smart & Get Ready ... and Pray that THE LORD intervenes early!!! http://fredoneverything.org/undocumented-shopping-legacy-of-an-african-president/ GOD SAVE ALL HERE!!
I agree with you about the media talking points. There was disgraceful misrepresentation of the thousands of young men marching across Europe. There have been suggestions that it was organised by very wealthy backers - people with sufficient wealth and power to influence the news coverage. Desperate people don't have the wherewithal to print leaflets containing directions and contact details for emergency services. I don't know what kind of young man would leave behind his parents and other vulnerable family members in a war zone while he took off to demand a new life in whichever country he decided would be most profitable for him. On second thoughts, the people in Paris and Munich found out exactly what type of young man would do such a thing. The writing was on the wall when supposed victims of terror suddenly found their courage to face down and charge at police and border security staff whom they knew wouldn't shoot them. That's not what I'm referring to. I'm talking about people from desperately poor African countries. Imagine if you were living a hand to mouth existence in such a country and couldn't manage to feed your family or provide your children with a home and a basic education. What would you do? I can understand a family in those circumstances sending a son to find a better place to live and maybe make some money to send back home or even make enough money to bring the rest of the family to a new country. Desperate people do that and have done throughout history. We get lots of moral blackmail type coverage in Europe with all the focus on unwelcoming selfish Europeans but no coverage of why the people are fleeing other than to say that they are seeking a better life. The UN is quick to accuse working class Europeans who fear for their own and their children's livelihoods but it's the UN's responsibility to come up with initiatives at international level that would make it possible for these people to have a decent life with their families in their home countries. There were only a few Syrians being rescued on the news report I watched. The rest came from various Asian and African countries. Some of the countries of origin mentioned were Pakistan, Afghanistan, Morocco, Tunisia, Nigeria and Sudan. Among them were people who had worked in Libya until that country was the beneficiary of "Hope and Change". There were even a couple from Cuba that the reporter claimed were fleeing persecution by the Castro regime. A row boat would get them from Cuba to the US, yet they travelled all the way to Libya and ended up in a sinking rubber dinghy in the Mediterranean! Somebody or some organisation has to be orchestrating this sudden mass movement of people that only reached these crisis figures after the much heralded Arab Spring. Soros owns about half a million acres in Argentina and has more money than some European economies - enough to accommodate and support a lot of migrants and save them risking their lives in the Med. Maybe it's time to ask questions of the likes of him and others whose small change funds the welcoming committees but I won't hold my breath waiting for any journalist to risk his job by posing the question. Sometimes I wonder whether the proxy wars in places like Syria are really just a cover for another agenda that will unfold a few years down the line.
Why are so few Christian Africans trying their luck? There are many more Christians in Africa than Muslims and the differential is increasing. Taking greater distance into account, shouldn't one expect more?
Over on the Garabandal News thread the argument of "Why Would Russia Invade Europe" came up once again. I hate to state this but maybe it has something to do with a reaction to some major acts of terrorism from some of the more aggressive immigrants. Here is a list of prophecies of WWIII. I know that it really isn't supposed to be a WWIII, probably more of situation in which some nukes are dropped, that is the way these prophecies read if they are true: http://www.jrnyquist.com/may14/new_page_2.htm Sad and scary.
The great book on approved Catholic prophesy, 'Trial, Tribulation and Triumph' by Desmond A. Birch contains many prophesies, some going back many centuries, describing an attack by the Russians. Much of this material is also covered more briefly in Yves Dupont's 'Catholic Prophesy'. If Russia does attack the West, it doesn't imply any particular guilt on her part. God may just use her for His own purposes, in this case a chastisement for the West, as He used the Roman Empire to chastise the Jews in 70AD. If this comes to pass, we are to expect a Western rally under a French 'king'.
I still need to get that book. Here is an expert from the link I posted above: Muehlhiasl from Apoig (1753 - 1830?) [Ed. comment: Muehlhiasl and Stormberger could be the same person, though historians are uncertain.] "Everything starts when a large bird or a fish flies over the forest [Ed. comment: a big airship flew over the Bavarian forest just before the First World War.] -- then the war comes, and a further one and then the last one will come. When does it come? "Your children will not experience it, but your grandchildren may see the beginnings. The Reds [Ed., the original German word is "Rotjankerl" ] will come on the new roads. But they do not come across the Danube. A great war will come. A small one begins it, and a big one comes across the water and makes an end to it. The war will come from the east and will end in the west, [but] the last war will be the total destroyer (Ed., der Bankabraeumer]. When you do not understand the people you meet, it is not far to the terrible day. Humans have never seen so many fires and felt so much iron before. Everything will be in disorder. Those who survive must have an iron determination. But the fighting will not last long. Nothing will help those involved, even if they believe again and pray to God. They will become ill and no humans will be able to help them. It will not last for a long period of time. It will all happen so rapidly that nobody can believe it, but there is much blood and many corpses. It will happen so rapidly that one who has two loaves of bread under his arm and drops one of them, does not need to bend down to pick it up because one loaf will be enough. The war will not be over until the death birds stop flying. When you afterwards find a cow beside the Danube, the cow should be given a golden bell." "Those who begin anew will build a church and praise God. Those who survived will say to each other "Brother, are you still living?" and will greet each other with "Jesus Christ be praised!" This will not exclusively be only with us, but all over the whole world, and right will become right again and the peace will govern a thousand years."
Extraordinary. Has the ring of truth about it, with objects and events being described for which vernacular descriptions had not yet been devised. "When you do not understand the people you meet, it is not far to the terrible day": This could describe the presence of immigrants on the continent, most of whom only speak their native language. The becoming ill without hope of human aid would not rule out radiation or chemical/biological sickness. The Russians are continuing their buildup in Syria accompanied by quite bellicose warnings to the effete Obamaists. May the Lord God have mercy on us all.
I was feeling melancholy yesterday and then I read your post and it made me laugh, though my father would have thumped you on the head. My father's parents were Jews from Russia and emigrated to the U.S. in time to be the only family members (except for one uncle) to escape a brutal pogrom that systematically murdered, looted, forced conscription to the Russian army on my relatives simply because they were Jews. I did not understand their persecution until I was an adult and did my own research on the subject. They could not bring themselves to speak of it. My family was so traumatized by the events that they witnessed that my grandfather insisted that he would rather believe that no God existed rather than believe that there was a God who did nothing. When I was very young, I attempted to tell a joke about the Jews to my Dad; I thought he would love it. "What is a Jewish dilemna? A nickel ham sandwich". I started giggling until I saw the shock and pain in his eyes. It made me cry. Thus began my education about slavery and oppression. God evidently had much to teach me. There were so many children in my family that dad hired a wonderful black Southern Baptist woman who became our second mother. She was the granddaughter of a freed slave who became a preacher and instilled in Pearl (and she was) the most gracious, loving soul which she in turn gave to us. By the way, my Dad was baptized a Roman Catholic at the age of 87 years old so he must have forgiven me.
