My brothers and sisters Oh Lord, I pray for those like me, whose inner life is chaotic, filled with images of conflict and strife, yet who seek to love in spite of this inner war. My community is with the broken, not among the strong and virtuous, for gifts are just that, a given….grace to share with others, perhaps my wounds and struggles, for me and as well as for all of us are for others as well, for Lord, it is our wounds you carry, our burdens you embrace, should we not do the same for others as well.--Br.MD Col 1:24 who now rejoice in my sufferings for you and fill up those things that are wanting of the sufferings of Christ, in my flesh, for his body, which is the church:
Col 1:24 who now rejoice in my sufferings for you and fill up those things that are wanting of the sufferings of Christ, in my flesh, for his body, which is the church: Mark that image of those 2 precious boys is so touching, painful and sad, Oh how our Lord must be weeping , Those two boys may have never known Jesus but I know Our Lord Jesus in there with them cradling them in His arms and bathing them in His tears. I wrote what follows to a holy young person who is looking to offer himself as a victim soul. Dear XXXXXX I personally believe that all true Catholics are victim souls! The Holy Catholic Church is the bride of Christ and Christ is also the Head and we the members of the Catholic Church are both the body and the bride of Christ; therefore where Our Lord Jesus has passed so do we! In nature the Head is not disjointed from the body because it is one with the body and so too Our Lord has revealed that He is the Head and we are the members of His body and so too we follow our Head, Our Lord Jesus through His passion and death unto His Glorious ressurection. I believe the Holy Catholic Church is Magnificent, Stupendous, Glorious and the means of salvation for all of mankind! How Our Lord will achieve this is something I do not completely grasp but I do believe it is through the suffering of His body, the Church that will accomplish much more then we will ever see. I do not believe that all will be saved but I believe many [who are unaware of Our Lord Jesus] will be saved through Our Lord Jesus and His institution of His Holy Church! I hope I am making sense. I don't know if you are familiar with the the book "the Bells of Nagasaki" written by a man named 'Nagi' I think; there is also a book called "the song of Nagasaki" both books depict the sufferings of the Catholic faithful of Japan at the time of the Atom bomb, in fact Nagasaki is one of the only areas in Japan that is Catholic and Christian. Nagi states that he believes it was because the city of Nagasaki was catholic that it was ordained by God to suffer the tremendous burden of suffering which ultimately accomplished the necessary graces to end WW11. The thought of being a victim soul is scary! However Our Lord and Our Lady have promised the graces necessary to live our state in life and to accomplish this, it just means we must stay very close to Jesus and Mary, by prayer, Mass, Holy Communion, Confession, Adoration and God will supply! God Bless
Thank you for you lovely reply. Yes, it know that God's judgement are always right, and the soul that is judged, will agree, since it will go willingly away from God......our freedom is one of the gratest mysteries. Yet, I pray for the salvation of all. We just don't know all that much, but we do know that the love of God "Agape", is of another order, and it takes a lifetime, to even begbin to understand, and perhaps, it will take an eternity, which means we will always go higher up and deeper in, as C.S. Lewis sait. Peace mark
