For some reason, I can't get back to the default setting for the blue background. I hate that white. HH
It might vary but in my browser if you scroll to the bottom of any page on the forum there's a button that says 'cool font' (yours probably says 'winter'), if you click on that you can change the style. Maybe that'll fix it?
oh, wait other way around, lol. I usually use the cool font one. This winter one is easier to read with though, much better contrast.
I typed a note earlier, but must have forgotten to hit the post reply button. Take the forum completely off your computer. Then open it up new, put in your name/ pw and try that. It should reset the program back to default settings.
Go to the very bottom of the forum page where it says forum software by XenForo just above that it will either say Winter or Cool font. If you want the blue background with white text select winter
I wonder if it's dependent on what device you're using. I mostly use my cell for the forum and can switch the color easily. That may be different if on my laptop.
It is, Cherox. You are right. It’s fine on my phone but not on my PC. And I love using my PC for the photos and videos.
Ok I have did a bit of digging and there does seem to be a glitch with choosing styles with PC based software I have had to amend the cool font and unfortunately remove the pic of Our Lady. I have added back a few more styles which can be selected at the bottom left of the forum page you all should be able to select either Cool Font, Winter, Gothic or Green Tea. @HeavenlyHosts if you log into your pc go to your username , preferences, select the style drop down arrow and then select the style you want, then select save changes. Please note any style with an * beside it is not available so don’t select that style please.
Well, your advice was spot on but it did not work. I even logged out, and restarted my PC. It's still stuck on this white. But I did notice that the picture of Our Lady was no longer there. I appreciate the help I have received from you and from the members on this thread. This may have to be somethiung I have to endure. ACK.
I think your only option now is to reset your internet browser delete cookies temp internet files and history As a test I have rest your style option to "green tea style"
Well, no green tea. I'm grateful for yoiur help, but I'm not sure I am technically savvy enough to do what you suggest. I'll think about it and pray over it. Thanks again, John.
